Very clean and comfortable. The ac and ceiling fan worked great. There was cold and warm water in the shower. Two small water bottles were provided upon arrival. The location is great. Very central to everything and walking distance to the beach. Despite being so central it was quiet. Wifi worked fairly well, a bit spotty at times. The hosts were so kind to us and welcoming. We had to leave early in the morning to travel to our next stop and they packed us breakfast to go with a large, cold water bottle. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Everything. Close to shops etc. Quiet rooms in an old family home. The staff were exceptional. Breakfast was great and we were asked what we wanted for each day so they would not repeat (unless that is what you wanted). One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka.

Nothing to do with the guesthouse. Snorkelling at Pigeon Island in Nilaveli is not worth the extravagant price as the coral is dead. Cost for 2 people is 34000 rupees. We didn’t go but other people we talked to were very upset. You can see some fish just off the beach in Dutch Bay in Trincomalee for free.

We chose to stay in the city rather than a beach hotel and did not regret it. A lively street bazaar is a block away. The inn is in an historic house that has been renovated. Our rooms had air conditioning (not all rooms have it), which helped keep us cool. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable.

I wish that the windows had been open in the dining room because we would have enjoyed the breeze from outside.

The inn is near the main bus station in the town. It is also close to banks, money exchange centers and the major landmarks in Trincomalee. The family 👪 who owns the inn is warm and very hospitable. Room 1 is very clean, spacious, with a ceiling fan and a big bathroom with hot water. As this city can get humid around June, the common spaces like the living room and dining area can get warm throughout the day, the AC room is a must. I booked the room with breakfast. I thought they prepared it but it was from a vegetarian restaurant nearby. It is a huge meal that comes with fruits, cold juice and native coffee. They prepared it according to the guest's preference - I don't usually eat spicy breakfasts. The receptionist and "probably" the owner's son is very helpful and would knock on my door to remind me of the timings I set my breakfast to. It is relatively safe to move around the area even at night. Although I won't recommend any tourist, to walk way past midnight.

Being nit-picky, I would appreciate it if they accept credit card payments. I'm glad I had cash exchanged a day prior my checkout or else I would have gone out again to find a money exchange center.

This was a terrific place to stay in Trinco! It was a three-minute walk from the bus depot and convenient to many restaurants, shops, etc. Dutch Beach was an easy walk. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and the free breakfast was absolutely delicious. The wifi was also great. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The staff was very welcoming I had the chance to choose the room where I wanted to stay and they were very nice in having me over. I had the chance to choose whatever I wanted in the menu for breakfast and they helped me for everything.

The room was rather small and there were no sockets very close to the bed.

Nice place located close to the city center and close to the bus station. Large and clean room with great A/C.

The room was very loud, meaning that you could hear other guest easily. Also, please keep in mind that the beaches is located in the other end of trincomalee :)

Very clean and simple room, good fan and air conditioning, very comfortable bed. The guesthouse has a lovely little garden around it. We had breakfast too, and our hosts were warm, kind and friendly.

The shower worked fine but might be good to update to make even better.

We had an aircon room with private bathroom. Room was small but very clean with firm but comfortable bed. Early check in was good as it allowed us time to explore Trincomalee. It was reasonably quiet considering it is right in the centre of a busy town. The young lad that met us was friendly and helpful. They did us an early breakfast (6am) as we had a long cycle, so wanted an early start. He recommended the New Parrot restaurant (3 Min walk) where we had great fried kottu noodles for £1 each. Perfect place to stay close to the Fort and Dutch beach.

Great place in trincomalee. Well maintained and clean. Bathroom also in good condition and clean. The owner and staff was very friendly and cooperative. Highly recommended. place is very easy travel to Trincomalee Sight seeings
