The location is the best thing. it is very easy to get to from the ferry, it almost could not be nearer. It is also 2 minutes from the harbour, cafes and 7 min the castle. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. There's a lift. Easy access by train to Louisiana Art Museum and to Copenhagen. Train every 15 minutes. Supermarket at the station has everything.

The WiFi in the room on the third floor was OK on one device but none existent on others - although those devices were OK in the corridor. The breakfast was good, but for me the bacon was too crispy, you could not get it on the fork, it was like it had been deep fried.

Loved the hotel. A quaint old place. Unfortunately people in the street are noisy until really late. We got in at 2am and the noise continued for some time

The breakfast was awful. It was done as cheaply as they could. Just a few small changes to the products that they stock would make a huge difference. Powdered slimy egg. Thin dry bacon. Sausages made with who knows what, mushy and a strange taste, bad tasting margarine. Coffee was not nice. Bread and jams were excellent and the fruit juices were nice

Hotel Hamlet is a charming small hotel perfectly located - a one minute walk from the - by the way, probably most beautiful train station in Denmark! And situated perfectly in the center of the town. He rooms are very nice - it’s a beautiful old building and very nicely renovated and decorated. They have kept the old style look, while modernizing the rooms. Our room was small but perfect for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very close to the train station, and it's walking distance to Hamlet Castle and the Danish National Maritime Museum. The staff was also very helpful! You also get a coupon if you dine at the restaurant Den Glade Tallerken, which we very much enjoyed dinner there, next to the hotel.

The room and the bathroom is a bit small (not much room for you to fully open your carry-on suite case), and the electric cattle wasn't very clean.

The hotel was very accommodating from the start as we arrived after 7pm, so they left us a key in a key box. Nice and warm, comfortable beds. Clean room with everything you would imagine from a hotel room.

A fair bit of noise from the street in the morning, but that is normal if you get something in a town centre. Nice breakfast, although I would have also liked some proper Danish pastry, rather than standard croissants and pain chocolate.

If you want to stay in the center of Elsinore, this hotel is in a very good location, just a couple of minutes walk from the train station. The receptionist was very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. The hotel is quite old, and the room layout is impacted by this fact. However, everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. All in all a pleasant experience.

There was a wardrobe placed in a awkward spot. This made it a little difficult to actually use it, but we managed.

A very romantic hotel with very comfortable beds. Few steps from main station and from the ferry port. Also not far from the city centre or Kronborg castle. Communication with the reception was so kind and easy. And their breakfasts were amazing.

There was nothing we did not like.

The owners at Hotel Hamlet were so helpful. We stayed for Ironman Elsinore70.3 and the hotel is right beside the venue. After finding a problem with disassembling the bike we were forced to leave it behind us to be fixed and the hotel had no problem holding on to it for us until it could be collected. Will definitely stay again next year!

Leaving

Location is great - center, sea and railway station right next to it. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Old building has its own peculiarities, you wouldn't call them "unlike", rather you enjoy them.

Voices from the corridor echoed very loudly into the room. The shower room might need updating.
