The Hotel Campanile Martigny is a straightforward choice for a quick overnight stop, without any particular frills to report. If you find yourself there over a weekend, be prepared for a bustling atmosphere, especially in the restaurant. The entrance to the hotel offers a heady greeting with the pervasive aromas of frying and cooking, which might not be the most welcoming scent. Lots of parking space in front of the hotel. The reception operates efficiently, providing a swift check-in process, which is a relief especially when compared to the hotel’s elevator. Expect a slow ascent to your room, as the elevator seems to lack a sense of urgency, but it does eventually get you where you need to go.

The rooms maintain a decent standard, with nothing exceptionally disappointing nor particularly exciting. They are adequately equipped for a night’s stay. However, the weekend evening traffic noise could be a drawback, although after a long day, you might find that exhaustion overcomes the buzz from outside, allowing for a restful sleep despite the disturbances.

Straight off the train, down the street and into the hotel. Could not be a better location. The fellow at the front desk was very helpful. The room was perfectly satisfactory. Essentially, a comfortable place to pass the night, which was all I required of it.

I had hoped for a kettle but instead there was an espresso machine that I did not know how to work.

This hotel realy stands out as a good value . Good size room with most comfortable beds (I've had one of the best and deepest good nigt sleeps ever). The TV is huge with all important international chanels, the bathroom was spacious & spotless. What did surprice me the most, was the breakfast. So delicious and so very Swiss. Selection of cheese, cold meat , pastry , bread, which was absolutely fantastic, cerials, eggs etc and on top of that fresh orange juice and a very good coffe. There are two lovely ladies who will assist you with a smile as soon you need anything. The location is unbeatable, just 3 min walk from the train station and yet in the very village center with all the amenities within walking distance you can wish for. The check in was quick and smooth. I will definitely return.

In the spirit of net zero I was a disappointed to find plastic bottles in the bathroom for shampoo and body lotion even though there was already a big dispenser in the shower. These bottles were presented on a plastic tray.

Clean and comfortable bedroom. Good value for money and staff is really friendly and flexible. We arrived for check-in after 22h and they welcomed us without any problem.

Price for breakfast is a bit expensive for what it delivers (18 chf per person). But overall, it is still good.

Warm, quiet room with modern renovation and mountain view. There is a large free parking lot near the hotel. Excellent service, very chic breakfast. Suitable for family holidays in the lower reaches of the Alps.

A little noisy as it is right on a busy street. The shower was so small, it was almost unusable.

The smell of the bar at ground flour we didnt like. When we opened the window, the street was noisy. The value for money of breakfast was bad, very much overpriced (18CHF).
