Great facilities, if you stay here you can make use of the swimming pool and spa (including saunas for free). Also well located with a bus stop in front of the door, with buses to the Näfels and Ziegelbrücke train stations (for connections to Zürich and Glarus) and to Mühlehorn (for the Walensee). Alternatively it's a 15 min walk to the train station. Also if you stay two nights, you get your train tickets for free from the local tourist authority (make sure to apply for this at least 4 days in advance, search for "ÖV-Anreise Glarnerland").

the opening hours of all the things can change quite a bit depending on the days. We were not prepared for that as we missed the swimming pool one day because it was closing earlier. on the other side we were before closed doors for the breakfast when we learned that on public holidays it opens 1,5 hours later. We needed to kill the time with a small child until we were able to eat. However, we could have informed ourselves, so it’s our fault. but if you go, keep in mind that you should check carefully the opening times and ask the staff in case of doubt.

The breakfast was delicious. The room was also tidy and the beds were comfortable. The water slide was included in the room price and my kids loved every minute of the fun! There are SO MANY ACTIVITIES to do at this facility. It's actually the local community center that just happened to convert a few rooms for guests.

It was clearly stated in the listing, and we knew what we were getting, but having the bathroom across the hall was a little bit more of a hassle than I had expected. The climbing gym was giant and amazing but also quite expensive (~30CHF / adult), so we didn't participate while staying there. All told though, this was a small inconvenience for our family and we'll definitely stay there again!

The room is quite and large. No 2 personne bed for our room. The breakfast is quite good and the restaurant propose good food at an affordable price. The personal is lovely! The swimming pool are is big: we especially recommend the outside warm swimming during the winter!

The toilet/shower at shared with others people from the hotel. This is not a big problem. If I understood correctly we shall be naked in the sauna; which is not very pleasant if you are not used to.

Location, people are just amazingly friendly, loving and fun to be around.

Nothing to dislike but non Swiss, German speaking people like me struggled a lot. If they could have such specially in catering. (this is not a dislike but a request to have English speaking staff) I liked everything specially for person with physical disabilities like me.

Location - easy to reach with public transportation. Beautiful mountains and green hills around. I liked the minimalist style and cleaniness of the whole hotel incl. restaurant, swimming pools and sauna area. My kids enjoyed the water slide, outdoor playground and football field so much (we borrowed a football ball at the hotel). The staff were very pleasant and attentive.

Designed for easy fun with kids, the Lintharena was perfect for a quick break from Zurich. Everything is super clean, rooms are large and spacious. The beds are comfortable and all linen is provided. The restaurant has an affordable and varied menu and it even has a special menu for kids. There is also a really good Italian restaurant less than a kilometer down the road. Breakfast is simple but good. The playground and pool area are the highlights!

Very clean, lovely personnel. You can use all facilities if stay in hotel. we liked outdoor heated pool with view to mountains very much. And everything was for very good price!

The pool outside is so amazing. a lot of our friends are fascinated to it. If we have a chance we'll definitely go back to this place.

The hallway towards our room is dark and scary. I wish they put more lightning over there. The breakfast is not good as well. Wish there were varieties and choices. We got a bit lost looking for the steam bath and sauna, if they have a directory of the place somewhere where guest can easily see and notice, it would be great.
