I've read some bad reviews prior to booking it. Although I've set my expectations lower, I was surprised that everything went well. The room was great, the TV was functional, decent bathroom, and we had a little terrace where we could hang our wet clothes (since it was raining that night when we arrived at the hostel). Supermarkets and convenience stores were a small walk and that's crucial for us since we heavily rely on these stores when we arrive.

The location is pretty far from the MRT and High-Speed Rail. Like very far. It's quite near to bus stops though, but that depends on the bus route where you want to go to.

This was a comfortable and relatively spacious place. It was a good value for the area. The room was clean and the bed was nice. The WiFi was good and it was nice to be able to log into Netflix on the TV.

The receptionists spoke really fast in Chinese, so it was a little bit difficult to understand. It was a little bit difficult to find because there is no signage for it. There was a clothing rack on the balcony for drying clothes, but I wish there were more hangars or clothespins for it.

I got the room last minute for half price, a price of a bed in a dorm. The building looks brand new, all the facilities are in great condition, everything is super clean and smells fresh. Very pleasant stay. Easy check-in after hours, you just need to pay by bank transfer in advance to get the codes to get in. Easy to find, just 15 minutes walk from the train station. Nice toiletries including disposable slippers

I liked everything

The bedroom is spacious enough with room to put your stuff down. There is a small sofa, a desk, and the tv has netflix which makes the room very comfortable to stay in. You get your own water heater and washing machine as well !

A little bit of accumulated rust around the plumbing and a little smell coming from the bathroom. But it still feels clean, and good for the money. Sadly i did not have a convenient power socket bext to the bed.

had to pay by transfer through bank account (they only accept cash but my intended check in time was past their reception time), but their money accepting bank account was not working well. I entered all information correctly to transfer fund but it was keep erroring. (they admitted this is not the first time it ever happened) I was panicking that I might not be able to secure room at the last minute because this error, and I probably would have lost the reservation if I didn't have fluent mandarin speaker who can help me.

I was living there for five nights, it comes with a washing machine and provides detergents, that’s very convenient for me. Moreover, they has housekeeping services while I need it, I just need to put the card outside the room before 2 pm.

The only thing is disposable slippers was too hard to wear that made me have to wear my shoes in the room sometimes, that made floor dirty.

Private room is clean and comfortable. There is a washer available in the balcony of the room. Close to 2nd Market and Taichung Park. It's also near bus stops that goes to the HSR station.

No dryer, but I think I was meant to air dry. The location is in a slightly sketchy alley. Not a social hostel.

1. The staff can be offline sometimes, your questions might not be dealt within your expectation. 2. There's no payment by card. You will have to always bring cash.

Adagio exceeded my expectations. The interior is nice, clean and modern. I even had a laundry machine on my balcony that I could use for free! The bed was nice and comfy, a little on the firmer side, which was good to decompress my back after a long day of walking.

I was travelling alone so the room was a good size for me. Might be a little cozy for 2 people?
