Great place to stay with kids! They loved the play area set up in our room. You can tell the toys are well-used, but that didn't bother my littles. They do provide a crib but the mattress was uncomfortable so I used our portable crib instead. Breakfast is at a cafe right next to the hotel, but it was salad and noodles. Tasted okay, but not what we were expecting. Wouldn't necessarily pay extra for it when there are excellent Taiwanese breakfast places nearby. Good location nearby key tourist sites. Beds weren't terribly comfortable, but nothing to complain about. Overall enjoyed our stay and the kids area made it all worth it!

The parking situation is a bit annoying. It's a parking garage about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel will provide you with a hand written note that you give to an attendant to exit the garage without paying. When we were trying to leave, there was no attendant. It took 40 minutes to figure out who to give the note to in order to exit the parking garage, and my husband speaks fluent Chinese. It would have been better if we had used public transit.

Actually, there are almost no complaints about the place: clean space, enough amenities, friendly English speaking personnel, good location. They also provide bikes (but not very comfortable if your height is more than 180 cm).

Breakfast - better not to include it: it's only a sandwich with no choice of drinks. And the quality of the sandwich is far from good. It may suit only if somebody wants to eat a lot of bread: one part of my sandwich was tasty and the second contained no filling, only bread. And a slight warning: do not wait until the exact checkout time - only one elevator which can carry 4 persons will lead to wait 10-15 minutes if you live somewhere on the 5th or 6th floors.

It seemed that the hotel had been renovated. It is not easy to find a triple room in Taiwan. But they provided us with a triple room where we could take a good rest. We loved the beds, couch and Smart TV. Breakfast was a nice light meal. The staff could speak some Korean language, which was so impressive to us. The car parking was so convenient because we could park a car at a nearby parking building for free. In conclusion, this is a nice hotel if you have 3 members.

Staff was super friendly, breakfast nextdoor was included, 50% vegetarian options, so that was nice! The location was good, we spent two nights here to avoid the typhone in Kaoshiung. Later we stayed in a hotel in the centre.

The neighbourhood is a bit poor and dirty, the hotel felt a bit out of place. But for a stay close to the trainstation this is highly recommended.

To me, this is a boutique hotel but it gave me a very comfy feeling when i stayed. It definitely worth the price i paid for the rooms.

the location is strategic but somehow a bit of the mess with the surrounding areas especially with the karaoke, night club and some "woman" standing by the road side...

Great location, near the train station and the sun moon lake buses. Spacious room (no window). Nice place to visit the city center and continue the trip to the sun moon lake

You can see that the owners put a lot of effort into the design of this hotel. I especially loved the lobby area, full of nice little decorations, plants. Coupled with comfy chairs, it made a great space for relaxation. The room was rather compact but had absolutely everything I needed. I liked the artistic way in how the toothbrushes, combs, and other disposable items were arranged - yet another fine little touch I loved about this hotel. The location is also excellent, within the walking distance from Taichung Station, Taichung Park, and a lot of affordable Taiwanese, Vietnamese, and other tasty food offerings.

There is only one elevator and it's quite tiny - expect to wait when the place is busy with visitors during common check in / check out times.

not soundproof; could hear a little bit of noise from the other room and outside. but the noise were bearable and doesn’t cause too much disturbance.
