The Lakeshore Hotel Tainan is a luxury accommodation - you can tell just by walking into the lobby and being greeted by staff at the front door and the front desk. All staff were very helpful and spoke English. Art museums, cafes, and restaurants are all close by. Lines of taxis out front waiting to take you to where you need to go. Also close to the #2 bus stop which we took to Anping Fort for a day. The room was a good size with air conditioning, a mini fridge, a nice shower, and a separate closet toilet - great since we were hear with 3 people. We were also excited to see they had a pool - but did not end up using it while we were there.

I stayed in many hotels in the world. This is one of the best. Our 4-people Room is spacious, super clean and no cigarette smell. ** My picky mom can sleep the first night. The hotel is well located next to Tainan Art museum II and close to Confucius Temple area with lots of eateries and fruit/shaved ice stand. The swimming pool is outdoor on the 2nd floor. The breakfast buffet has good option with both local (Tainan), western and Japanese food. We really enjoy our stay here and will recommend Lakeshore Hotel Tainan to our family and friends.

The hotel was really easy to spot from a far, in a great location ! with art museums in close proximity and interesting cafes near the hotels. My partner and I also enjoyed the facilities such as the sauna, gym and etc. Nonetheless I would like to thank the staffs for their wonderful and kind hospitality to us... we will definitely visit again.

Unfortunately, unlike other cities in Taiwan, Tainan does not have a metro system hence you would have to travel via bus or taxi to the hotel. However places of interests are located very close to the hotel.

This is a good value hotel, with professional services and offering a buffet breakfast, offering multiple international and local cuisines. We are full daily. My parents are thrilled with the service and the room service, with helpful assistants to watch channels. The location is perfect; for accessing sightseeing quickly or taking a walk comfortably. There is free bus transit between the high-speed train station and the hotel nearby. Based on the hotel's instructions, it takes 30mins and then a few minutes walking to find the hotel. We will stay here again when visiting Tainan certainly. It would help if you experienced this, making the trip unforgettable. 早餐非常豐盛，很多選擇小吃與異國料理，非常乾凈

From entering the hotel, the experience was fantastic. The hotel staff are friendly and take extra steps to make our stay comfortable. The lobby is luxurious and spacious. The room we had was also spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room to put our belongings down and counter space to put toiletries for a family. The bathroom was clean and shower was very comfortable with great water pressure. We also had a nice view of Tainan. Also, breakfast was so delicious! They had a wide variety of hot and cold food across Taiwanese, other Asian, and western cuisines. The seating was great and the whole experience was like a classy buffet. Lastly, I loved the gym. They had plenty of equipment from weights to a squat rack to many treadmills. I didn't get to try the pool and the sauna but I'll be sure to return.

The only downside is the rooms aren't very quiet. We could hear people talking in the hallways. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay!

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Liked the fitness center and the swimming pool. The gym could use some more lighter dumbbells as I needed 2kg weights for my shoulder work but the lowest was 5kg.

The water bottles are not in plain sight. They should at least make sure the water bottles are visible if they make guests fill them ourselves. I’d recommend asking the staff to pre-fill them to welcome guests in the rooms.

The facility is very clean. And the staff is very approachable and Accomodating from the time of our arrival until we're leaving. I love the fact that they can speak English so that it is easy for us to communicate with them. The swimming area has lifeguard, so you don't need to worry.

I dont like the fact that you need to be totally naked when entering the sauna area. So that i can't use the sauna. ☹️

Ms. Lin at the Front Desk was extremely helpful, she took her time to welcome us and went over the hotel facilities. All the hotel staff (including the ones walked by in the hallway or at the breakfast) would greet us warmly. Their breakfast buffet is also one of the best breakfast buffet I’ve had. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location, proper space and tasteful decoration. Staff is helpful, but nothing beats its breakfast. Worth dedicating a relaxed morning to enjoy it. A good variation and selection of what can give one a beautiful start of the day. Also very helpful to have your own parking space as it saves a lot of trouble. Like how eco-minded the hotel is to provide drinking water with water bottles. Will definitely recommend it and want to come back again soon!

Very nice hotel with a great location. It is directly across the street from the Art Museum and Confucius Temple. There is a giant mall two blocks away. The best part of this hotel is its pool and spa. The pool is open during covid which is why we booked this hotel. The spa had multiple hot/cold pools, sauna, steam rooms and a lovely shower/locker room area.

It took almost 45 minutes to check in and 20 minutes to check out.
