Everything was wonderful from the start of our stay to the end. Our room had a nice view of the hotel pool and adjacent green space. I was impressed with the amenities that were available for our children - these included child sized slippers, toothbrushes and rinsing cups from Disney (officially licensed, not knock-off products), and a tub to bathe our toddler. Fresh fruits in our room everyday was a pleasant and welcomed surprise. Bottled water (flat and carbonated), the assortment of tea and coffee, and the personal hygiene products in the bathroom made us feel welcomed and elevated our stay. The pool was clean and they provided swimming caps if you plan to swim under water. The locker room for the pool was also clean and had fresh towels, showers, hairdryers, and q-tips. Our 7-year old enjoyed the playroom and the fitness center looked decent (we peaked in but didn't use it. I've stayed at many different hotels in Taiwan and this surpassed them all, even the big names in Taipei. We loved the idea of the library, but it's more of a sitting room if you have your own reading material.

This is not something the hotel can control, but the noise from the Air Force jets flying directly over the hotel was loud at times especially when we were at the pool.

Very clean hotel for Taiwan. Location was great.

Check-in was slow at night for 5-star property. Front desk people would rather make guests wait then stop doing what they were doing. It was quite disappointing to see the manager look at me rather then help me while I waited in line. This wouldn’t have happened at a Ritz Carlton or a Four Seasons. Also, did not have any robes in the room which is something that I expected to have for this class hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Always someone on hand who could speak English and interpret for me. I am a coeliac so need gluten free food. I was able to communicate that, and the staff were very careful to provide me with suitable options and provided alternatives when my choices contained gluten. Needless to say, knowing that I had gf food available to eat at the hotel took a lot of the stress out of being in Tainan. So a big thank you to the chefs and wait staff for going out of their way for me. Complimentary fruit and drinks in the room. Beautiful, comfortable and spacious bedroom, and a lovely bathroom. Fantastic swimming pool, so refreshing in the heat of Taiwan.

Two wrong guidelines for traveling in and around Taichung 1. Feery info to Pengu. I drove over an hour and when arriving realized that the ferry does not operate for many months. Waist of a day. 2. We planned to take a guided tour the Double green bus after getting the information from the hotel. Spared the time and reached the main station to find out that the tour bus is operated on in the holidays.

Very good hotel with quality service and facilities. Our junior suite was very nicely decorated and cleaned. Kids were excited with the London theme deco. Next to posh shopping mall. Staff were well trained, responsive and friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends. 👍

Ferrari owners guests were annoying. Other than that, nothing to complain.

the breakfast was pretty good, the staff was decent, and the location is alright.

the room was not as clean as you’d expect it, furniture was old, the couch had stains on it, and the carpets in the corridors was not clean and had stains as well.

Well appointed property in a great location. Huge rooms and good facilities. We particularly enjoyed the pool on the 4th floor.

We spent a lot of time around the pool but felt disappointed there was no food and beverage service. We would have loved a few sundowners.

Breakfast is not good. Certainly not a 5 stars hotel standard. So limited choices especially the Chinese breakfast. Most food there was lukewarm. Decor is very dated in the Chinese breakfast room.

The room was nice and comfortable, clean overall. I preferred it facing the pool rather than the bank building but it’s fine, nice city view anyways. Staff was helpful. Location is great, I love the fact that is not crammed but you have nice spacious park in front. Steak ordered with room service was excellent for the price. The pool is a pretty good addition to the experience.

I ordered breakfast (western) separately which in this period it comes boxed (fixed items that cannot he chosen) and to be taken out: not bad but as is, not worth the price. There was plenty of stuff I wasn’t interested in (sandwich, meatball, salad), while they gave you butter and jam but no bread, just scones (nice) which were already flavored enough already. Also ordered a bottle of beer with room service which came with no bottle opener.

the Chinese breakfast (2?3rd floor), is not sophisticated enough, in fact , the decor and the menu is a disappointment.. although a lot of choices, but is not tasty nor visually appealing .. definitely not to the hotel stander! However , first floor breakfast is super! great variety and tasty !
