Six Star Motel-Zhongli

I liked the balcony and the interior of the room. It was light, bright and fresh. The little table to dine at was nice and the room also had a closet area, which most motels don't. The bar area was great and they have a list of free services for you to enjoy. The shampoo and soap inside the shower area was great and so was the size of the shower. The bathroom was big, but the tub was not ti my personal liking( not the motels fault), I just prefer the spa tubs not spa bath, I know this is what I chose. I did enjoy my bath. I just wished it had a TV to watch. The breakfast was great, but it was 25 minutes late. I really loved the hanging basket chair and the bed was so comfortable.

I didn't like that my breakfast was 25 minutes late from my scheduled time I stated when I arrived. I think my hostess was so interested in asking me unnecessary personal questions, that she forgot to write down breakfast time of 8am. I called at 8:03 and was told to wait. 8:25 it arrived and I had to rush to eat it before I had to leave for work.

The room and shower did not have any clothes hanging hook or stand. It will be good to have them.

Very nice breakfast

Let’s say all the good things first. The breakfast is quite interesting with choice of main dishes and the rest is buffet style. I would say it’s great and we do enjoy the breakfast very much. Location is awesome with good food choices around within walking distance Night market is just a few minutes away. Very convenient Hair salons are within walking distance as well.

Now… The cigarettes smells are so strong, not recommending to families with kids cos even adults have a hard time dealing. Sprayed perfume but doesn’t help much. Suck it up and deal with it. Rooms are tired and needs loads of work. Looks and feel old. The entrance tiles are not smooth which is an issue of safety. Cleanliness is very questionable and we have to wear slippers all the time. Pillow and bedsheet cases feels not smooth n dusty. Toilet and bathrooms are with broken or spoilt tiles. Bath tubs are amazing though.

The breakfast was excellent we love the swwet potato and special meal prepared for individual and the local food is excellent and clean and just perfect for us. Loving it so much.excellent attitude and service they help carring luggage for us with a smile and positive attitude.

Hotel room floor is so dirty that our socks turn black within mins. My child kept sitting on the floor and her clothes then black as well... I guess this is meant for couple and not really for family to stay with kids.

Closed to city and night market

Compared to other 90% hotel/motel, Check in 6pm is way too late. We entered the room and the room smelled like someone smoking in the room. We are non-smoker. We felt sick for staying whole night in the room.

slow check in at their gate, no counter. rooms floor are dirty with lots of hairs and dust. toilet looks old.
