The bed is super comfortable, insect management was well done, there's no need for a mosquito net. Restaurant items (besides the morning buffet) were absolutely delicious. Room cleaning was done properly and timely. The room structure is spacious, and the aesthetics look very fancy, Kitchenette is well equipped with pots and if you are staying for longer periods of time. (but it was missing some utensils)

TVs were old and small. You can't cast anything, no applications or Netflix. You would need to connect an HDMI to view what you want to watch. The room looks fancy but is also worn down. Lots of scratches are present everywhere, tables are wobbly. The bathroom faucet is square-shaped and was lodged against the wall so that prevented me from adjusting the temperature of the water. One shelf was broken in the bedroom. The pool is small; the "pool view" room shows the pool but also shows garbage bins and muddy areas right outside the hotel.

I liked the rooms, very nicely done..... felt like home. Liked the front office staff warm welcome, always a smile, flexible when we needed some extra time, I also liked the cleaning ladies, doing a very discrete job, also very happy and cleaning very fast and well. I liked that the Manager was present during several moments of the day. I also liked the variation in the menu, the Masifio produce in the salads.

I did not particularly like the breakfast, did not like the setting of the tables, neither the hot station being outside. I did not like the selection although it was plentiful. Breakfast staff seemed unorganized, I would suggest more tables for 2 moved together if need be, as in the morning one ended up eating outside in the blistering sunshine. Did not like the disturbance from the road, noise of people fighting, guards being pumped up talking too load afterwards. Next time a room towards the garden, definitely.

Large comfortable rooms with quality furnishing. Hotel is brand new and everything was immaculate. Friendly helpful staff. Nice pool area and good location for the near by Bars and resteraunt.

The rooms don't have balconies, would be nice to sit outside and admire the sea view. A bit of an oversight in a brand new build.

1st of 2 stays at this hotel completed in Dar. From start to finish the Element has been nothing short of excellent! The staff are all incredible, the property is modern and clean, the rooms are a great size and cater for all travellers. Breakfast which was included in the price paid was exceptional! Just make sure that if you stay here, confirm the location with the Taxi drivers and Poa operators as they would head to Elements nightclub if you were catching one to the hotel from elsewhere. The hotel is situated only a few hundred metres from The Slipway, great dining and shopping, around 10 mins on a POA or Baji to Seacliff and Coco Beach, there is a good laundromat in Masaki which is a 10 minute walk. Uber and Bolt are your best bets for getting around. The property exceeded all expectations. Travelling as a couple.

There is nothing that I did not like about the property, it was all fantastic.

The location of the hotel is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The interior decor is nice.

The gym & spa was lacking steam, sauna and jacuuzi. There should be a rooftop lounge/bar with such an ideal location. Corridors need a carpet runner to reduce noise.

I liked everything at the hotel, it was beyond my expectations. One of the best hotel I ever stayed. Big, comfort and very well equipped room . Excellent food and great service attitude of all staff from reception, room service up to the Chef. Hotel manager very helpful and ready to comply with my requests. Perfect place to stay for for both business and holiday. I will make the place my 'home hotel'.

Newly built hotel in Masaki area, easilly accessible, large rooms, great breakfast choices, friendly staff and convenient location to walk around Masaki area.

There are no nets on the windows, so if you are not a fan of airconditioned rooms like myself, expect mosquitos. A lot of them.
