The room was very clean with two double beds, fridge, kettle and a balcony. There are two pool areas, the large pool area was nice and quiet as most guests were by the beach. We enjoyed our days round the pool.

It would have been nice if the pool bar was open, not sure why it wasn’t as there were plenty of guests at the hotel. It would have been nice if the breakfast options changed, it was the same everyday and not the best.

Breakfast. One (nor very good) toaster for whole resort. Coffee machines very slow and always needing topping up. Everything that should have been hot was cold. Shame. They need to buy a couple more toasters and sort food warmers out.

Room 6006 was amazing, bungalow on the beach fantastic, breakfast was ok, great coffee.

Disappointed that the pools closed at six pm, only one bar open, lacked a bit of atmosphere, better seven years ago when we was last here.

I loved this resort. Personally I think the garden wing is great and you can easily choose it over the time crab wing. Especially if you don’t have the sea view there. Staff was amazing, the manager was great, they have one of the longest swimming pool I’ve seen in the hotel. Rooms super spacious and bright clean. Overall great experience and perfect value for money.

I find the prices in the beach bar to high and the music is just awful. I think there should be no music at all, there is sea that makes just a perfect sound or soft music in the background. I had to skip the beach sometimes because of some disco played out loud from the hotel bar.

Its a fantastic resort, with big rooms, beautiful and big pools (I think one of the pool must be 50 or 75 meters long). Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, beautiful garden, staff very friendly. It's really a great place to go. Beds are very very comfortable.

I had an accident : a wooden plate of their wooden bridge broke/felt when i was walking on it and I got injured with my foot going through the wood! Breakfast buffet quality is not so great, but completely OK for the price we paid our nights including breakfast.

Breakfast cold and poor choice. One toaster for whole resort. Check in took ages. Requested high floor when booking but given ground floor room.

No restaurant onsite and public areas aren’t that well maintained

Large comfortable room, nice bathroom. Pleasant decor but nothing special. Balcony with 2 chairs. I was in the Ocean view wing but couldn’t see the water because of large trees. Just a 5 minute walk to the main road with many restaurants and bars if you cut directly through the property using a service road.

The breakfast buffet is adequate but not great. They do have expresso/cappuccino machines. The beach right in front is not bad, but it’s not the prettiest section because of some rounded rock outcrops and some patches of dark sand, and the water is very shallow. But just a 5 minute walk to the right and the beach gets better, and 5 minutes beyond that even nicer. So not a big deal. No shower gel or shampoo dispensers in the shower. Even 1 star hotels in Thailand that I’ve been to have those.

Amazing location, very clean rooms, lots of breakfast options, and a spacious beachfront. the two pools that were open were meticulous maintained, daily housekeeping and daily water were a nice bonus. i definitely will return.

A large portion of the property was unoccupied. i am assuming due to lack of clientele this is why one of the pools and game room were not maintained/open. Hopefully more tourists will return to Khao Lak so this hotel can once again be in its prime. i still highly recommend.
