Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and near to the beach only a 1 min walk. The food at the hotel is good the breakfast ok if you like thai-food. Do not expect only western food, we are in Asia, you will get all sorts of things - enjoy! If you are booking a room with a pool terrace you will be guided to the adult wing with your own entrance to it and no children or what so ever. Good thing to relax! The staff is simply amazing! The front desk can help you with a taxi, or whatever you need and the housekeeping is amazing. everyone is here so that you can have a good, relaxing vacation. Try the fresh coconut or one of the smoothies, they are so delicious. Enjoy your stay and thanks Bhandari for a lovely time at your hotel!

the only thing I did not like were the pillows. One is too hard and the other one not soft enough. Could be better!

Very nice Thai style bungalows , with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is really nice and loads of variety. Spa was amazing and they have lovely peaceful gardens. Close to the beach. staff very helpful even calling to the room to remind you about trips and treatments at the spa . They change linen and towels everyday , very nice . They allowed us to do late check out because our flight was at midnight , and send our postcards . very nice and friendly staff .

Khao Lak is a bit dead( first week of May) The place feels a little bit untidy after just opened from Covid but I am sure they will keep working on it . The garden of the bungalow where the bath is needs to be more clean .

I loved everything about Bhandari. The property is so beautiful, the lovely traditional architecture is surrounded by lush gardens and relaxing areas for yoga by lotus ponds or swimming in the pool under coconut palms. You feel so peaceful the moment you arrive. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, with everything from fresh tropical fruits, Thai food of the day, waffles, omelettes, danishes and endless cups of coffee. I loved the ambience of the breakfast area overlooking the pool and palm trees as the morning light filtered through the wooden shutters. We stayed in the pool-view room, which has a balcony overlooking the second pool area and boardwalk. Housekeeping did an excellent job refreshing the room each morning. The spa treatment was excellent and you couldn't ask for a more relaxing setting. Nang Thong Beach is great for sunset walks and views of the lighthouse, it's an interesting mix of sandy beach and palms with rocky outcrops and hills in the distance. There are restaurants by the beach or it's only a short walk to the main street where there are many restaurants as well as massage and other shops. There's nothing not to like at all, if you are coming to Khao Lak you will love staying at Bandari Resort.

What can I say except that the place is definitely THE place to go. It changes from the other resorts we use to have on the beach. The Bandhari hotel is very traditional in term of architecture. The staff is more than lovely and always ready to help you and make your stay easy, especially for the Covid admin part. Breakfast is like huge and awesome. Several swimming pools, all gorgeous and big. And rooms are quite simply perfect. Many thanks for everything. You made our stay unforgettable.

Very pretty hotel with good facilities. We stayed in a bungalow which was spacious and had a comfy bed. All the staff were friendly and I had great massages at the Spa with Nee. Good working AC and choice of pools. Will definitely return.

Rooms are a bit tired, with marks on walls and holes in bedsheets. The room service is a bit expensive and the breakfast buffet is fairly standard. More storage would be good, like a chest of drawers. I would also suggest a better system for the cleaners. The clean laundry gets left on your porch at the beginning of the day. When you come back after breakfast or at lunch the dirty laundry is then on the porch, along with the rubbish and any dirty plates. It then seems to be left there until the afternoon when someone collects and makes it feel a bit dirty. However, the cleaners were very nice.

The pool and breakfast but most of all the staff. They were all excellent, very friendly and helpful. Always a smile on their faces. Our cleaning lady, Noon, was fantastic and she always made sure we had enough water etc. She made some figures of the towels to put on bed. Lots of small things to make you feel welcome. The bed was comfortable and A/C worked fine.

The room could do with a facelift. Bathroom had not enough light, no plug for the hairdryer and the cupboards were nearly impossible to get into. The shower stall needs some new paint etc. The faucet to the sink leaked outside, didn’t matter how low or high water pressure.

Large bungalow was superb

No decent beach bars nearby. We had to travel 20 minutes on a hired motorbike to reach a good beach with sunbeds and facilities.

We booked a few nights last minute because we were not happy with a place we had just checked into. We thought "at least it can't be as bad as where we are" and it didn't fail to meet all our expectations. The pool area was beautiful and had good drinks and food. Breakfast was very nice - lots of choices and good service. It is across the street from the beach and within walking distance of some shops and restaurants. The room was a very nice size and very clean.

The work out facilities didn't have any fans to circulate air and didn't have any towels to wipe sweat off of the machines after using them.

nice old world quality, beautiful gardens, doesn’t feel big even though there are 77 rooms as there is so much space and privacy. Nice bird life in the gardens, one afternoon a large lizard (about 1.5-2m long) wandered through the garden. spa massage treatment is excellent, best ever. nice breakfast, good buffet dinner and also within easy reach of other food options if you want a change. beach is very nice , swimming pool is spotlessly clean.

If I really had to be picky, the pastries at breakfast are not quite cooked enough. But there is so much else to choose from.

Beautiful small resort with stand alone bungalows. Wonderful big room with huge comfortable bed. Impeccable staff - so friendly and helpful. The resort is a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk from lots of shops/restaurants/cafes. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety. Lunch and dinner at the pool bar or main restaurant were both fantastic and reasonably priced. We also enjoyed treatments at the on site spa - again, we couldn't fault the staff or service we received. We would definitely come here again :)

Only one small point - there is a small gym which is sufficient for a basic workout but some of the equipment could do with being updated.
