We had the most wonderful stay here at the Century. We didn’t book early Checkin, however were given a room straight as we walked in. It was located on a higher floor with a lovely view over the city. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, there were supplementaries such as free water, shaving kit and everything else you need. The towels were shaped into elefants. It had a lovely bathtub and a spacious shower with a door which is not common in Thailand. The pool area on the 5th floor is also amazing, nice refreshing water as it lies in the shade in the morning and sun only gets there in the afternoon. There are fresh pooltowels that you can take whenever you want (even though people here said that none are provided). The service at the pool was also awesome, staff came around to take your orders as there is no poolbar outside but they bring food from the kitchen and drinks from the lobby bar. The food in the Hotel was so good, we did the New Year’s Eve set menu dinner here which was sooo delicious and very well planned trough, also cheap compared to other offers in town. The breakfast was very complete and despite other people claiming that it was not continental, I can confirm that it certainly is. Everyone will find something to eat that they like. Reading trough other reviews here, I wonder whether some people here are blind or just have unreachable expectations. I also don’t think that the place looks rundown as people stated here, it’s just not extremely modern from the design but this is still Thailand. I think this hotel is very authentic and brings the overall package a fantastic hotel needs. We will definitely be back. You really get good value for money here. Portiers are very kind, always open doors, greet and arrange taxis for a fair amount.

Breakfast hours could be extended to 11am, especially around new years, but that’s just a personal preference. Other than that - nothing at all. Thank you so much for everything!

Hotel is nice. Rooms were fine spacious enough, bath tub also. Good views. Breakfast was sufficient, plenty of options including healthier options. Staff were friendly enough. Good location.

Swimming pool isnt much of a thing. Needs a bit of a refurb. Fine for sunbathing and a little dip. Gym is also quite dated, didnt get any of the machines to work (treadmill, bike, crossfit) and no one to ask. Breakfast is good, but omelette was wrong 2 times. On check in, the staff didn’t give the wifi instructions (go to a website to logon.) This would be more helpful to everyone, since i was not the only one who asked.

Quite an „old smell” when you walk inside the hotel.

The marble bath is large and has separate big tub and shower. Laundry line above tub was very useful. flashlight in closet not used but handy to have if needed. I am not familiar with the city but location is close to many 7 elevens and ATMs. Victory monument, lots of shopping and restaurants, and a nice park are within walking distance. Breakfast had lots of variety with egg and pancake stations. Safe in room is adequate size for most needs. Free weights and benches available in fitness room. Large towels provided for pool use. Room was clean and well maintained.

Lots of street noise on the 5th floor pool deck. I suggest requesting a room on the back side of the hotel will likely be quieter. Hot tub was bubbling but water was pool temperature and railing loose. Gazebo at pool was closed-needed renovation. Many sinks did not have drain stoppers including one in room. Fitness room was adequate with 2 treadmills but stationary bike, and other equipment were in need of maintenance. Room lacked electrical outlets for guest's use; often having to disconnect something to plug in chargers/computer.

I liked location, staff was friendly.

Room was not clean - found hair in my bath, badsheet had some old dirty spots, furniture was broken. Breakfast was not tasty, I mean most of the dishes had no taste at all. I was surprised that nobody was swimming in the pull - but then I realised why - water was very cold, almost impossible to stay in in more than 3 minutes.

The rooms we booked were really spacious and had a great view.

The rooms are old and need to be upgraded. There is a musty smell in the corridor. Kind of how molds smell. The corridors are also very dark. The toilets do not have a bidet.

Room was way better than I had expected: size, which was much larger; nice light from large windows, with nice city view's. and the bed was comfortable. I really appreciated the cafe/pastry station since I don't eat much breakfast but need my coffee. Good selection of pastries too. BUT mostly, the young lady who ran it in the morning was terrific.

Interior could use updating/refreshing -- it id a little worn and dated.

I picked the hotel especially Two single bed, when check in the staff told us to up grade the room which One doube bed. ....well, no need to up grade if it was One double bed. I couldn't say back to Two single bed room front of my partner.

Location- short walk to station for train to airport Staff - fantastic Facilities - lovely pool in a pleasant setting Bed - comfortable Price - good value Decor a little tired but who cares? All the comforts of a great hotel but without the latest look. Besides, renovations deplete our finite resources

Menu was a bit limited

the beds good. aircon is good. only one room aircon was not very cold. The room is spacious. Beds clean. checking in and out was fast. nice hotel. Foods good.

its an old hotel. there are small cockroaches running about especially in the fridge cabinet in one of our rooms. The aircon in one room was not cold but since its not hot season its ok.. The hotel is very clean just they have neglected pest control.
