Great place to stay in Bangkok. Lot of eateries and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Reception staff are very friendly.

There was a light right above my head on top of my bed. I couldn’t turn it off (searched for the switch everywhere). My other travel parties also faced the same issue. Apparently that switch is near the tv or some hidden place. You should ask reception for help. I didn’t bother as I can sleep with lights on.

Nice and comfortable hotel

Location is 30 minute walk from the main Sukhumvit area. Both the main streets are around 10 minute walk and it's difficult to get any taxi from the hotel. Also, there is so much traffic on the main road that even getting a taxi doesn't get you anywhere faster.

Regular hotel for regular money. Price totally reflects the level of the hotel - nothing more, nothing less

Clean and big rooms. I got 2 connecting rooms with my family of 4 for my 9D8N trip. The hotel is no frills, but you get what you paid for. Linens are clean, and housekeeping does a good job daily. The hotel is 10-15 min walk to the nearest BTS Thong Lo station, but they do provide a free shuttle service to send you there. There is a proper 7-11 about 3 min walk from the hotel as well as a few decent restaurants.

The location is not so convenient. Returning from BTS Thong Lo, walking back to the hotel was quite tiring after a long day. After a while, I resorted to taking GRAB back from wherever I was instead of the BTS. I would not recommend this hotel to family with young children unless you take GRAB and experience the great Bangkok traffic. Breakfast was getting tired as they diversity was not so good. Nothing much to do at the hotel, though they do have a gym and a small pool on the 3rd floor Of all the staff I encountered during my 9D stay, I don't really find myself welcomed entirely by the hotel staff except for with the GM Govnd, who makes his courtesy table morning hi-and-greet, and one guy who was always chirpy and also drives the shuttle tuk-tuk to the BTS station.

Very clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is extra and pricy so we did try it and can't comment. Good choice of food nearby, 'My Choice' and turn left for Jangle Bar restaurant.

Location is a little isolated and the streets are not easy to walk down. Take a head torch or red flashing light out at night. The most annoying thing is the Name. Oakwood Studios, there's also a Oakwood residential, and Oakwood Suite and none are walking distance from each other. We got taken to the wrong place on two occasions by the Taxi driver. I recommend copying the actual address down do not rely on the name alone it's easy to confuse yourself let alone Thai drivers.

Helpful, friendly, welcoming staff. Lovely room, quiet, nice view, comfortable bed, reliable WiFi, good shower, gym (small but adequate since no one else was using it).

Breakfast: only one coffee machine that takes forever to make one drink, so long waits. Items not replenished quickly enough. Limited western breakfast options. Very bad: Guest seen sleeping and fully sprawled out on communal sofa (occupying 3 seats), in a location in full of and close to reception. Yet reception turned a blind eye to this, allowing guest to continue like this. Most unacceptable. Bathroom: really poor quality toilet paper, and insufficient quantity supplied. (Only one roll in holder, and no second one).

Great hotel with everything that you need. Stayed here for one night, but could have happily spent more. Close to a lot of restaurants and a 7-11. Breakfast had a nice variety. The staff were wonderful - very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, great little coffee machine too.

Excellent value for money, modern Hotel with good facilities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Local restaurants and bars fine, but for greater choice it's easy to use the BTS line for nearby Asok or Nana stations, or Siam. Generally a good location for travelling on the BTS or MTS lines. Breakfast was a little limited for Western tastebuds, although adequate. Difficult to find a taxi to go from Thong Lo BTS station to the hotel if you have a heavy suitcase. Easily walkable, but the shortest route has very narrow pathways along a busy road. Easy to get a motorcycle at the station for 15 Baht, but this is no good with a suitcase.

From my experience, Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit offers a great location, which made it easy for me to explore the city. The rooms were spacious, with a comfortable sofa, providing a cozy spot to unwind. The bathrooms were also large and well-equipped. Considering the price, I found the amenities to be of excellent value, especially the charming small pool area.

Unfortunately, the hotel isn't directly connected to the metro, meaning I had to arrange additional transportation. Additionally, I noticed that the outdoor areas could use some cleaning to enhance the overall ambiance. During my stay, I was disappointed to find out that early check-in wasn't available, which inconvenienced me as I arrived early.
