The breakfast was delightful, great coffee, loved this location close to everything but quiet. Staff from the parking lot security guard to the front desk people were over the top delightful and very helpful. Bravo

The street life around the hotel is distressing, but I have to say the people were very nice always ready to talk and help. Rather than complain about it I decided to make a donation to a food vendor and then invite some of the homeless to have a meal with me which as a delightful experience. The homeless plight is in every major city world wide to enrich there day is to enrich your life. Remember Buddha's words. Lord, from now on, and until I attain enlightenment, I hold to this sixth vow, that I shall not accumulate wealth for my own use, but shall deal with it to assist the poor and friendless.”

You can walk to the Grand Palace and other sights in about 15 minutes. It's a little off putting at first with all the homeless on the sidewalks, but no one bugged us at all. The staff who checked us in told us he was scared at first, but now he doesn't even think about it. It's not a problem. Speaking of staff, all were friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the breakfast which had a nice variety. My bed was firm, perfectly firm. If I could have folded it up and taken it home with me, I would have! I said goodbye to it with tears in my eyes.

Why do hotels, not just this one, have a step up to get into the bathroom? It took me a few adjustments to get the shower to spray in the right direction so as to not soak the bathroom. The rain shower never worked. We didn't care enough to complain since the handheld one worked fine.

Breakfast was super, you can ask also to cook eggs in different ways. There are many choices, like meat, noodles or sweet cakes and cereals. The location is good, but you need a grab (it's really cheap) to reach the centre and I would recommend to call it at night. During the day the location is strategic to visit the temples and the Grand Palace. The room is big, with a modern shower and all the comforts. It's a little bit warm if you switch off the air conditioning but you will get used to quickly. The roof top also is a huge benefit. The swimming pool is not so big but nice and the staff is super kind and speak English very well.

Everything was perfect, maybe the warm of the room was a little bit annoying but by turning on the air conditioning the problem is solved. It's a common issue in Bangkok :)

Location is fantastic as the first day, a very short walk brings you to the Grand Palace and the Buddhist Pillar. There are other "Wats" or Temples which are very close and worth visiting. All walkable, or you can hail a taxi back to the hotel if you're tired of walking. The rooms are spacious and artistically decorated to blend in modern and retro, for example the bathroom fixtures have a brass steam punk feel. Very cool. The neighborhood while quite poor, with people living on the streets, keep to themselves, never asking for a handout. I actually really enjoyed the location, as it felt "real". Real Thai people lived in the area, not the well off, and frankly coming from NYC, I didn't want to stay in a tall building or walk amongst sky scrapers, or 9-to-5ers. Thailand is well known for it's street food and this neighborhood is no exception. I had great tasting street food no matter where I went! And on the topic of food, the Breakfast you get here is nothing short of phenomenal! Worth every penny. A sumptuous feast to start your day, with plenty of coffee or tea. They served just about everything including fresh fruit to help your digestion in your new time zone!

This is actually not something I didn't like, I just want to mention for the "sensitive" people out there, that at night you have "working girls" which doesn't bother me, but might other people. The hotel was hard to find for some taxi drivers, but I would suggest showing them the Thai spelling or helping them input the name of the hotel into their phones, then it's happy driving from then.

The hotel was excellent with polite, courteous staff, an excellent breakfast and spotless rooms. The roof terrace was great for relaxation and the swimming pool, although rather small, was very clean with towels and a shower for the more discerning bathers. The location of the hotel is good for visiting all the main visitor attractions. The local Tuk-tuk’s are an inexpensive way to get around.

The hotel rooms had no drawers. The immediate area around the hotel was dirty with piles of rubbish left in the street and homeless people having to sleep on the pavements. Local canals also had a ‘ Distinctive aroma ‘ .

The hotel is very nice and cozy with comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpful and attentive with information and tips. There is terrace on the roof and pool for relaxation. Breakfast had many choices for local and European taste. Location was very convenient for a short trip as the old town was everywhere accessible by foot and for the night time few minutes to Khaosan road. Quiet place. There are homeless people around the area but even for two women was fine night time as they have their own lives to live with not much attention to passers, but in Bangkok need to be aware everywhere.

All was fine. Maybe the air condition little to louder for a light sleeper.

The hotel is well situated, in a walking distance from the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Khao San road. The room is airy, clean, correct for a 3 star hotel. The bed is comfy, rather large with 2 pillows for each of us. The staff is very helpful and polite. The breakfast is a mix of Thai and western cuisine with 5/6 options to choose from.

The vicinity of the hotel is rather poor but we have not experienced any security issue, while walking around at night. The hotel is situated in a small street, not well know by the Tuk-Tuk drivers. Also, there is not much restaurants in the area.

Excellent hotel with super friendly staff that made sure everything was taken care of and that we were settled properly. Our room was a spacious and very clean, comfy bed for 2 adults + a small child. yummy breakfast buffet and a great location as well, although we only used taxis since we stayed shortly. Would definitely recommend and stay with them again! :)

The fact that we ordered and paid for a room with a balcony, but received a room without one. It has been reported to the hotel's administration, however, I believe they didn't have an available alternative. No biggie, still had a great experience there.

The hotel was beautiful, the room spacious and the decorations were lovely. The location was excellent to walk to the nearby Royal Palace and Wats on foot. The staff were super helpful.

The choice at breakfast for me as a vegan was very limited, so I ate outside despite paying. There could be more vegan options. There was a bit of a smell from the pipes in the bathroom, and the water had a bit of a weird way of flowing around the bathtub into the drain in the floor which splashed a bit around the bathroom. None of this spoiled the stay though.

This is the ideal choice if you're looking for a comfortable hotel room with outstanding service and facilities such as a swimming pool and rooftop deck, all at very reasonable rates. Great for families and budget travellers.

The area around the hotel is fairly sketchy, but the hotel grounds themselves are very safe and secure. Also, the hotel is not well known by taxi drivers although if you show the driver its Google map location on your phone you'll be OK.
