Handy location near to the BTS. Lovely big room with rain shower. Very clean. Limited restaurant menu but nice food and very reasonably priced as was the bar. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. The hotel was far enough out of the way to offer some peace and quiet but a short journey into the centre of Bangkok. it was an ideal spot for families. the price was very reasonable indeed. I would happily stay there again and would recommend it without hesitation.

I paid for breakfast believing it was a buffet. it wasn’t. I don’t know why but the breakfast menu was very limited indeed and I had breakfast out instead. No room safe?!? I have never stayed in a hotel with no room safe!!!

Service: The hotel seems to be short on reception staff. Staff seems to be running back and forth between the reception counter and kitchen. They speak passable English but at times they couldn't understand my request. Google Translate helps a lot! On the day of my check out, there was only 1 staff because it's a public holiday. Her name is May and she had to answer phone calls, attend to guests at the reception, attend to LINE messages from guests, instruct kitchen staff, serve breakfast, clear tables. Please reward this dedicated staff! Please assign more staff to improve your service and to support staff learning by giving them English classes. Environment: Wong Wianyai is the perfect location for a quiet stay outside the busy area and yet convenient enough to get to town. Stay here if you want to avoid traffic jams and too much noise. BTS Wong Wianyai is just 5 mins walk from hotel, 20-30mins BTS ride to Siam shopping area, 15mins on Grab to Talat Phlu market (old market with lots of good food), 2 BTS stops to The Mall Thapra, 2 BTS stops to Saphan Taksin/Bangrak area where you can shop at Robinsons mall, eat street food, have a massage, or walk your way up to Chinatown. If you walk across Wong Wianyai BTS, there're plenty to see and eat. The famous Somsak Pu Ob and Tub Tim Krob are within walking distance. Yums! Room: The room is clean and looks exactly like the photos. It's the perfect size for one person, not too small or big. Comfortable bed with good air conditioning. I stayed on Level 6 and it's very quiet unless guests close their doors roughly. The corridor is not carpeted so there's some echo whenever someone opens the door. TV channels are a bit disappointing with almost all channels in Thai. Bathroom: Toilet paper quality is quite bad and finishes very quickly. Shower pressure is good. I don't have issue with water temperature.

Breakfast: I ordered breakfast for my last day. Arranged for 9am. Came down at 9.10am and there was nobody at the reception. The staff was busy helping in the kitchen. Took some time for her to finish attending to other matters, before my breakfast was served. Porridge set meal is passable. Can be better. The buffet area is quite disappointing. Looks untidy. Tip: Ask for receipt upon payment for room. Install LINE app and add @wstation for room service. There's no phone in the room to call. Texting is fastest. Check out Drop by Dough at Reference Sathorn condo behind the hotel (IG: @dropbydough). They serve very good doughnuts and coffee.

Great staff clean rooms relaxing location

Nice interiors and really comfortable beds (the bed is really big and the blanket is as well, so you have no problem sleeping in one bed). The stuff was tremendously helpful and friendly, told us about a restaurant nearby where we could have dinner late in the evening since our flight was delayed and we got to the hotel later than expected - we ended up going to that restaurant 3 times in 5 days, it was that tasty. The friendly dog in front of the hotel was super cute and we would always pet her upon our return. The BTS station is close if you need it, but we didn’t use the train that much

A little too far away from the center for my liking - but I only realized that after spending two days in the city, so it’s not the hotel’s fault in any way. It was a 15 min taxi ride from the old city which is not too bad, and taxis are cheap in Bangkok (or a 40 min walk). I would’ve liked the water pressure to be a bit better and sometimes you have to wait a little bit for the hot water to come. Also, there was no hand soap near the sink so we used body wash to wash our hands - but that’s minor I guess

We stayed here for 5 days. Room are very clean and they provide water and cleaning stuff every day. Location is the best only 1 minute away from the train station 🚉 directly to heart of Bangkok. The hotel and bar just downstairs of the hotel is very good as well. We tried several dishes ( western, Chinese and Thai) yummy 🤤 and reasonable price. There is also a 7 eleven just next to the hotel which is very handy if you wanna buy any stuff you need. Highly recommended this hotel as it’s price is much better than other options I saw in Bangkok.

Had a very pleasant stay here! Would definitely stay here again when I’m in Bangkok. Location is quiet and not really a tourist area but very close to BTS station so it’s pretty easy to get around. Has a 711 nearby and some street food stalls too. Very clean room as well and towels were replaced after two nights which is reasonable. Staff are also very friendly and booked us a taxi going to the airport. Their hotel dog who seems well taken care of was an added bonus!

Toilet paper is very thin even just for wiping up the wet toilet seat.

Everything was good: friendly staff, number. Location very close to BTS, comfortable to get city attractions.

Very expensive taxi in the hotel. and we had a bad driver. Hotel ordered taxi for us to Ekkamai bus terminal to early morning, it cost 500 bath, I know it’s to much expensive but we agreed because didn’t want to searching taxi in the morning. The driver deceived us: gave the change from 1000 bath only 400 bath and I didn’t check the change at first time (( So, don’t recommend to order taxi in this hotel.

This hotel has exceeded my expectations, the location is brilliant - just next to BTS. The staff is AMAZING, especially would like to thank the manager WanMai - who welcomed me at the hotel, super efficiently dealt with any request - taxi booking, invoice, but moreover was so friendly that made me feel like I was at home. Wonderful staff all over. Great homely atmosphere, also very good and rerasonably priced food at the hotel restaurant. Will be back.

Room was compact but efficient. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. Location was spectacular since it was easy to get to the BTS and go around the city. Bonus was the cute dog in the front !

Next room window was rather close and we could see other people easily. But there was no noise or anything wrong. There was a restaurant attached - but the kitchen closed quite early so we could not get food even though we thought we could based on the timing of the restaurant. But this was not a problem since there were other places to eat around the corner.

The room was great and all facilities were excellent. The on-site restaurant was fantastic for dinner and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Although not in a central location the BTS station was so close and made it extremely easy to get anywhere we wanted to

There aren’t heaps of food options in the immediate vicinity but the hotel restaurant makes up for that
