On my second night I upgraded to a room with private bathroom. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable. It had nice lighting options, hot water, a great sense of privacy. This room was great value, with pool close by.

My first night I opted for the very affordable rooms, which are only thinly separated from the elements and the neighbours. You are effectively all sharing a room with your neighbours. But for the price this can not be complained about as the setting is serene, the pool was clean, the river close by as well as all amenities.

I always love to stay here, it's right opposite the Mekong river, you just cross the road and it's like a 3 minute walk to this little beach where you can dip your toes in the Mekong river. (go downhill and turn left) Plus there is a 7-11 nearby. And the POOL is so nice to be able to just cool off after a long day of exploring in the hot weather! 😊 Beautiful plants everywhere, beautiful rooms, beautiful people. I even made a reservation and they let me change the date even though I it was past the date when I was supposed to be allowed to cancel. SO kind! Highly recommend!! 💗💗💗

I think they used to have a kitchen with breakfast, but since tourism decreased in the area, I don't thnk they can afford to keep it going. Just one more reason to tell all your friends to go here!

We stayed here the night befote catching the slow boat into Laos. The room is clean and spacious and the bed is comfy. There is a swimming pool which is always nice. Across the road is a 7-11 which is really handy.

The walls are very thin so you hear everything going on outside. The bathroom situation is a little odd, there is a sort of porch which is only covered with mesh between the room and the bathroom, and it faces the neighbourhood, so at night when the light is on the whole street can likely see whatever state of dress you are in as you transition between room and bathroom. Fridge didn't seem to work.

I absolutely loved it here! Great guesthouse for 1 or 2 nights before crossing the border to Laos. Swimming pool is definitely a plus! The accommodation is clean and green (lots of trees and flowers). Only a 10 minute walk to the bus station and a 7-eleven, some restaurants are also close by

The staff speak limited English, which caused some miscommunication, but they are helpful and friendly. The beds were too hard for me, but I guess that's personal preference.

Nice little place set back from the main Street. Has pool facilities which was lovely. Really nice rooms with comfortable beds, towels included and slippers too. Mosquitos nets were also provided, hanging from ceiling. There was also a TV, but we didn’t use. Bathroom included soaps, shampoo, hot and good pressure shower. Wifi worked throughout the entire property. Payments by card accepted. Didn’t have much interaction with staff, but from first impression were nice.

Walls are thin so you can hear everything from all around.

Pool & grounds are lovely, it’s all very quiet and peaceful, great location too!

I believe the website indicated breakfast was included, but it was not available. The hotel could be considered ’rustic’ - the wall are very thin, and any fairly loud people can be very disruptive. The bedroom lighting is pretty awful, only one high bare lightbulb, no light to read by.

Lovely hotel with a nice swimming pool in a beautiful small garden. Definitely the best value for money on this trip. Really quiet, tucked away from the main road. Most people stay one night to cross the border. We stayed two nights to do a quiet day, that is recommended.

When you enter the room, the concrete style walls and floors seem a bit unclean, so that was out first impression. But if you look closer, you see it is more the type of concrete style and everything is clean.

The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from the bus station. There isn’t much going on in Chiang Khong but we found this hotel to be close to bars and eateries while also being secluded from the main road through the town. Staff were friendly upon arrival. The pool is lovely and clean and is regularly maintained.

When we were there, the restaurant wasn’t open nor the bar beside the pool. We also couldn’t get any laundry done at this hotel.

Location was ideal and the accomodation beautiful, just off the main road but felt much quieter than the main road, a wee oasis!

Easy to hear neighbouring rooms, noisy first thing in the morning as everyone gets ready to go to Laos (we stayed 2 nights). Staff contact minimal, vague regarding tickets to get to Loas so went elsewhere for that (plentiful places to do so).

Great place to stay when you are going to the border the next day. Very nice pool ro jump in after a long busride, good location near a 7/11 and restaurants on the waterfront. Beds were very comfortable. You could just hear every little thing your neighbour was doing. For one night for me that wasn’t a problem at all but if you’re staying longer and want to sleep more could be a problem.
