The breakfast was up to my expectations, and as someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can attest to the fact that all of the staff members at Hotel M CNX had good service mind, particularly the front desk and housekeeping on the third floor (My room was 323).

Unfortunately, as my room faces right into the Tha Phae Gate , there is a lot of noise from the surrounding environment and I have a hard time sleeping through the night. But in overall, I feel satisfied with the location and the excellence of the service.

Breakfast was good. All of the usual cooked options, plus cereals, toast, etc. The hotel is in a very central position, just near the Thae Pae (?) gate, & near the night walking street market. I had 2 different rooms, one on the way in & one on the way out. First was overlooking the pool, so also a view of the neighbourhood, & then second room was towards the front of the hotel, & with a view of the main street, Thae Pae gate, etc, where you do hear the street noises, but its not terrible. I didnt really hear other guests in either room, Hotel does have a gym & pool. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Being able to reheat any foods would have been good, but there was no microwave in the room.

Hotel M is located right in the heart of Chiang Mai. It is walking distance to many of the main attractions and approx. 10 minute drive from the airport. The room was clean and the breakfast that they served was very good. For the price, you cannot go wrong with staying at this hotel while staying in Chiang mai.

Most of the showers in Thailand have mold in them due to the humidity. This hotel had some in the bathroom but it was manageable. Keep in mind that any hotel that you stay in while in Thailand will probably have mold due to the humidity so don't let it discourage you from booking!

Great location right on the edge of the old city. short walk to the Night Bazaar, as well as both the Saturday and Sunday Night Markets. The free airport pickup was a nice added bonus. Staff were all lovely.

The road noise is very loud. I would suggest earplugs, or potentially asking for a room facing the rear lane way, although not sure how much quieter that is. Gym wasn’t that great so we went to a nearby gym instead.

The breakfast was buffet style, convenient but crowded in the room, and the line for the food sometimes exceeded the cooking times. Had to "scramble" for the eggs (pun). But minor issue really. Being able to choose your own dishes has advantages. I just advise eating before the rush.

It's an older hotel, great location, I had no noise problems but I sleep rather soundly. Its exactly at the Gate so you may expect more noise, but really not a problem. Staff very friendly.

The location and staff were amazing! It’s in the old city and easily walkable to temples and the night bazaar. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and did a great job of making us feel comfortable during our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and way better than what you would typically get at a Hilton in the US.

The mattress was not the most comfortable but it was the same as the hotel we stayed at in Bangkok, so it’s more of just adjusting expectations compared to American hotels.

Nice breakfast, room are cleam & comfortable. Like the little pouch souvenior with Hotel M logo. Location are walking distance to tourist spots in old town and just next to the instagramable Tha Phae gate. Eateries & massage centre are all around and 1km walking to Night bazaar. Pool are just fine for cooling down after the city walks.

Front desk can brief or suggest the activities and advice places with entrance fees or free entrance.

Great location. Room was clean. Helpful staff. There're many cafe, restaurant & shops near the hotel. This's the best choice to stay if you attend the running event at Tha Pae Gate, starting point was in front of the hotel.

There're a few space for parking in front of the hotel and there're many red cars park in front of the hotel parking space but this's not a big problem. Hotel staff took you to park next to the hotel.

staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is located close to services and attractions. Hotel is very clean. I particularly like the rooms near the pool that are very quiet. Breakfast caters to western and eastern tastes with fixed menu items.

would be nice if pool was open later so could be enjoyed when returning from tours

Buffet breakfast was very good with a nice selection and some variation. Covid precautions were sensible and in place [and observed]. Swimming pool was new from our previous stay when it was being constructed: it is very well finished and clean, and we were delighted to be able to sit adjacent to it while having breakfast.
