The location was perfect, walking distance to the old city. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the bed was comfortable and the staff super friendly. If you are looking for a place with a budget believe me it is the hotel, good price, good location and very comfortable.

It has a very particular smell when you walk in the common area, it feels like you are walking in a very old house (well, the hotel seems to be a very old building) it really doesn’t bother me but I leave it here for your information.

This is better than good, certainly a very good rating vs. excellent but the rating system here offers no in between. It's attractive and unbusy here -- mature adults frequent this property and use it accordingly. It has no bar, no breakfast but all those things are within a minute or two walk. What it offers are large and comfortable rooms, balconies, a pool and an unobtrusive staff. Housekeeping is very good. The beds and pillows are solid. Has desk, chairs, balcony bench; my room had a jacuzzi that worked great and a half-size refrigerator. Big TV with Netflix but no locals. Other services like prime TV, apple too. I liked the front area patio, it's little used and offers a good space to journal, do business or have a drink. Lots of tables and chairs in shaded area fronting one of the Old City walls. It's a semi-classy and upscale stay just across the moat from a lot of good spots.

There was a bit of noise from the live rock club Nabe right next door. I went there a couple times and found it showcased good local talent. Younger crowd here, 20s... But the noise was more ambient, especially if I was watching TV. Didn't disturb MY sleep but others may be more affected. Also, the pool is mostly shaded, especially after 130ish. The chairs and chaises need some cushions for comfort too. But it's not a "busy" pool. Uncrowded.

I really enjoyed the big bed and the bathroom with the yacuzee! :-D First I was a bit sad that the sun at the pool is gone from 4 pm, so I could not relax in the sun after finally having checked in... the water was cold, of course, but I could not warm up in the sun - I know these are luxury problems, hahaha - to be solved by the nice yacuzee in the bathroom! :-D

The reception does not seem to be active from morning till 2 pm - I knew one cannot check in before 2pm - but it was said that one could store luggage in case of early arrival. But: There was simply NOBODY - I also met other Germans who just left their bag packs in the lobby... I actually met a cleaning lady who allowed me to put my luggage into the room for cleaning devices, so I felt safe for leaving the bag with my laptop there...

Wow - what a great find in Chiang Mai - this hotel is AMAZING! I have stayed all over Chiang Mai and this is hands down the best so far! Large smart television with Netflix, corner hot tub in bathroom, comfortable bed and linens, super friendly staff, great location next to old town wall, spacious rooms with large balcony! Everything about this place is classy and deserves 5 star rating!

Nothing - hotel was perfect in every way!

Great Hotel Perfectly located on the corner of the town. The Hotel was beautiful with lots of Carved furniture and gorgeous lights. Staff were all extremely friendly and gave advice on Local laundry services and places to go. The Pool area was generally quite and very peaceful. And we were located right on the corner of the town square. There was so much to see and do. We hired bikes and felt happy leaving them at the hotel but also ventured off on them most days. There were great food places nearby and a very cheap clothing road (which we missed until we were leaving) We would defiantly stay here again

The hotel itself, including the rooms, is quite beautiful with artistic wood everywhere. Everything was very comfortable. The jacuzzi was excellent. The pool was good. We had a view of a natural green area outside our window. I had read reviews that said a nearby bar was somewhat noisy, but the bar was closed for renovation when we were there, so it was quiet. The staff said the repairs are intended to make the bar more noiseproof.

The location is a bit away from an entrance between the wall into the Old City (5-8 minutes walk), but it is workable as its location is just outside the Old City.

Loved the old world decor and the location, we could walk to most places and plenty of places to eat and get massages especially the blind massage place. Bolt really easy and cheap, 7Eleven across the road

Towels were a bit thin but no big deal

Everything was clean and we'll priced very large room with great TV and wifi. Location was good

The only complaint I have are the mosquitos, there are A LOT of them for some reason around and inside the hotel. If I had to guess it'd be because of the many clay vase/plates around the entrance that fill up with rain water. Simply having the staff clear them of the water every day should make all the difference

Lovely spotless hotel on the edge of the old town, 5 minute walk into the old town. Lovely temple across the road from it. Clean towels and sheets everyday including tea, coffee and bottled water. The WiFi was excellent. Large smart TV with the best picture quality. Shower and bed was good. 7/11 across the road and a beautiful bakery with the best pastries and cakes. Added bonus of having a swimming pool.

Very pretty and spacious room, comfortable bed, the bathroom was great. Great light in the room. Everything was very very clean. Very friendly staff. Great pool. Location was good, just too loud outside in the nighttime.

It’s just a bathtub with some bubbles, no whirlpool; still nice though, very loud. Music outside after 11pm was very loud; works well with earplugs.
