We love The Odyssey. We go to Chiang Mai frequently as a family of 4 and it's always our go to hotel. The rooms are big, the bed is comfortable, and the pool has a good little section for younger kids. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu has an alright selection of items that do the job. The rooms are always well kept and we haven't yet experienced a stay that was not awesome. Additionally, for the cost compared to other hotels in the area it really is the best. It's close enough to Maya mall but also to things along the highway, so we find for the places we frequent it is in a good location.

Sometimes there's lots of mosquitos, but I don't think this is attributed to much of what the hotel can control.

What an amazing experience! Located in a lovely area, away from all the tourist hussel (but easy walking to) we got a 1 bed room apartment, it was cleaned (sheets changed/ dishes done) everyday. Great pool, great gym. Booked onward travel through them. Fast WiFi. Close to resturants (however we cooked most of the time, using local market nearby to buy food) great price

The location is not great. It is outside of city center and to get anywhere is quite far, so you basically need a car or scooter. Room is not secured for mosquitoes, they come from the big opening under and over the door, an it comes a lot. The place was hard to find as the name is confusing. The hotel you need to go to is "the opium", since we could not find the name "the odyssey" we used the coordonations, which were also wrong. So we had an unplesant experience walking around at night not finding the place, hope you dont need to experience it.

The rooms we had were very large (we had 2 rooms), plenty of space for a family. We got 2 bottles of water each day and fresh towels. All of the front desk people were very friendly and helpful. They arranged several outings and tuk tuks for us. It was very helpful not to worry with that. There were a few good places to eat nearby. There is a place called Souper Soup close to the hotel, it is very good! We went about 3 times during our stay. 7-11 is just a few meters from the hotel. If you want to venture out to do stuff you will need to get a ride. Most places are 5 to 10 minute ride, depending where your going. We definitely would stay here again. It's not a super touristy area, you will have to go into city center for souvenir shops and night markets, but they are a short ride away.

The furniture in the rooms we had were very Thai, which we like, but is not the most comfortable for relaxing on. We had a couch and a small table with chairs. Wooden and a little cushion. This would not deter me from staying again but just a small personal preference of having something more comfortable. The pool is smaller in person than in the pics. Most of the time we went to the pool no one was there, but it can get a bit crowded with multiple families using it. Not a huge issue for us, but just the realities of a smaller pool.

The room was very big and clean. The facilities were also really good at the property, it had a nice pool and a good gym area. The staff were also very friendly, especially the man on reception, his customer service was excellent!

When we initially arrived, we were checked into a room without a proper balcony, which we had originally booked. But they upgraded us the following day to a big room, with a kitchen area, seating area, a separate bedroom and two balconies which we were very pleased with!

Staff at The Odyssey were absolutely wonderful, so kind, friendly and helpful. Our room was a duplex room, which was very spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely large patio area to relax on after a long day of sightseeing. The apartment was in a very quiet local area with lots of cafes, eateries and bars to visit. There are two really good breakfast and coffee cafe's within a 5 minute walk, although The Odyssey also offers a great breakfast too. The pool area has a lovely peaceful and tropical setting. We used Tuk Tuk's, Red Trucks and Bolt taxi's to get around when we were not walking. We stayed for just over one week and just loved it here. Thank you to the lovely staff.

The location is amazing, enjoyed the variety of food and drinks spot. The living essentials are perfect.

Would've loved a few alternative amenities like a fan (the AC is nice, but mostly prefer fans), mosquito incense, more warm color lamps.

The Odyssey Chiang Mai is set up for monthly and long-term stays. It's located in a Thai community with easy access to everything needed for a longer stay. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Rooms on the north side of the building don't receive a lot of sunshine.

This is the second time I came here, but the name of the first time is different from the name of the second booked, and I mistakenly thought that different buildings are different hotels. The service is still so good, I very recommendable!

The room type is bigger than before, but the air conditioner is not cold enough.

Great location, swimming pool was really nice. Breakfast was also really good and the staff was very helpful. They spoke English really well

There could’ve been more beds by the swimming pool. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room and ants in the bathroom.
