Free breakfast - coffee, toast, jam, margarine, eggs and dragon fruit. Reception staff, Parn, is wonderful. She helps with our queries, and when one of us fell sick, she recommended Chiang Mai Medical Center, which was great. We like Diego, the cat. And netflix. And the Natchan massage place next door.

I wish the bathroom is cleaner, without the black mould at some spots. I was told that breakfast is at 8am, which was rather late compared to many other hostels. It was too late for our booked tour pick up at 7am. There should be spare toilet paper available on ALL days (spare was only available on some days, so when one toilet was out of paper, you can only get paper from another toilet). There was handsoap only at 2 toilets, and the other 3 toilets had no handsoap bottle. The shower foam was not replenished in one of the bathroom and I ended up using shampoo as body foam.

I loved the staff. M, the owner, was super easy to talk to and he always had recommendations for things to do. He even had some for my next stop in Thailand! Overall it was a very homey and family-like vibe and it was wonderful. Plus the breakfast was tasty and fresh every day. I plan on staying here next time I'm in Chiang Mai!

My bed wasn't the most comfortable and getting into the upstairs toilet was a bit of a struggle as a plus sized person (door swings in right by the sink). But I was able to get my own room because there weren't many people while I was there, and I never tried the other toilet. Regardless of these things I still really enjoyed myself.

Very aesthetic spaces, lovely hostel.

Wasn’t too clean, the toilets need to be better and cleaned more.

Hostel workers are wonderful. Place is cute and location suberb! Right next to busy tourist area and walking distance from old city but feels like little escape from all that.

Bathrooms weren't cleaned always so well. And fixing broken things takes time. Beds are quite hard. It was ok but some other guests complained. Living area could be even a bit cozier. More pillows and some kind of back support to lean on next to wall.

Very convenient to walk to bars and good eating options. great breakfast with eggs, toast, veggies, bananas and coffee. great staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. quick access to both the airport and bus station. great locker system for large storage under bed with lock provided. great set up with personal light and outlets for electronics.

female dorm overlooks common area and it could get noisy, but night quiet time was respected the one night I stayed. AC didn’t really make it to my bed compartment and with curtain closed it got pretty warm. opening the curtain helped but sacrificed some privacy.

- As it is marketed, this is not only a hostel but a true living space. Having stayed only for 4 nights, I quickly felt home. Everyone here is kind. - The owner M is always willing to chat and help with sights to see, transport recommandations, etc. He also organizes BBQ from time to time which helps meet people from the hostel - Delicious fruits, coffee and water at disposal throughout the day - The hall and other areas of the hostel are super well designed

Lovely atmosphere, a lot of attention to the design of the place. Really calming and cute cats too. Private room more than met our needs and even though shared bathroom, there was basically one per room, never had to wait.

Bed was very hard, mattress topper would be a good addition, even it optional for customers who prefer a softer bed. Staff were helpful but a little hands off. This was maybe because the owner was away, we met him on the last day and he seemed really nice and friendly.

Really great place to stay - so friendly it feels like a little community, but not as full-on as a party hostel. The bed pods are comfortable and offer far more privacy than a standard bunk you get at other hostels. The owner M is good to talk to if you’re not sure of where to go in, or around, Chiang Mai.

The Park Society was a pleasant stay. I stayed over the busy light festival period and had a good time, although I was busy and out for most for it. Excellent location, around the corner from the Night Bazzar with many bars, restaurants and fast food options. There are other smaller cafes and bars on the same street. Easy to get transport for tuk tuks and taxis. Safe area, busy with some slightly sleazy bars in surrounding streets but harmless and safe. Hostel is set back off the street, so was quiet with little exterior noise. Room and bed were fine, comfortable but fairly standard as hostels go. Bathroom could have been a little nicer, but were fine. Filtered water provided for free. Common area is on the smaller size, but has enough seating and different areas. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Bathrooms don't reflect the level of the rest of the property. Could do with a shoe rack at the entry/common area as there are a lot of shoes just in a pile on the floor.

Location is great, right next to the night market, and not too far from old town. Bunch of massages right next door, just make sure is it a proper one or a happy one. The staff was amazing. The owner and his friends are all young english speaking modern people. Greats you with a smile and shares info about town, plays table games and invites you to join. This is not only hostel, but it is a community. Bonus: You have in house 420 shop.

If you more than 30y/o and you dont backpack or live hippie style, or at least you dont blaze it regularly it might not be for you. This is NOT Mariot! Behind a hostel you have a canal, and this area has potential to be part of the experience - lost potential. I cought 1 huge cockroach at night, but common - this is Thailand, I've seen these in every second hotel.
