The room size is indeed what surprised us, after staying in tiny cramped rooms in Bangkok. They also had a bathtub which was a very nice touch. The amenities and the facilities are great here, and the receptionist was nice. We left our bags at the reception and went out exploring until our check-in time, and found a lot of great restaurants nearby. Catching a red taxi is easy from here, and most taxis knew the hotel and dropped us right in front of it. Walk north a bit to get to the edge of old town and enjoy the scenery near the old moat with the brick walls in the evening light.

Although situated in old town it contains nothing of that feeling. Vista feels and is built like a very corporate hotel chain. Of course that is nothing to complain about, just a fact you should consider when deciding on the vibe.

A new modern quiet hotel with large clean comfortable rooms located in the northern part of the Old City. Rooms have a balcony or terrace. The Chang Phuak Gate Night Market is a 5 mins walk and a range of restaurants can be found within a 10 mins walk. The Lanna Folklife Museum is a 5 mins walk and most temples can be reached 10-15 mins walk. The staff were helpful and attentive.

Great stay here, probably one of the nicest places we have stayed whilst we’ve been travelling and cheaper than a lot of other places over the long weekend in Chiang Mai. Great location and good security as well as a spacious car park. Rooms were lovely and clean. Just gave it a 9 as the step in the bathroom was lethal 😂 it was raised so weirdly so you would trip over it both on the way in and the way out… ouch 😂

The stuff - they are just very kind and accommodating. I booked a room with a bathtub, but the room we were assigned to didn’t have it. I went down to the reception and asked, and the stuff immediately changed a room for us! Also, we were planning to go on a scooter road trip to Doi Inthanon for about 5 days. We asked if they could keep our bags there, and the stuff said yes without hesitation!

A few plugs in a bathroom will be helpful!

Really nice location, good water pressure and bath tub. Lovely hotel decor and good internet. Really friendly staff and 24 hour check in.

Walls were a little thin, could hear the streets from 2nd floor in the morning. Bed was a little hard but I could sleep okay. It was definitely the thinnest firmest mattress I've ever seen. It was quiet and relaxing for my short stay.

Cleaners didn’t seem to do a review of please clean signs every day, reception asked us if we wanted our room cleaned. Our room dirty but they only leave 1 roll of toilet paper at a time and the bins and shampoos + soap just needed changing

The room and public spaces of this hotel were spotlessly clean. Everything about the Vista was perfect. We stayed here on three previous occasions and were amazed at the wonderful renovations/ improvements carried out . What was always a good place to stay has only become better. Much better

Just a wee bit far from some of the places you may like to go if you’re walking about, but if touring or if you have a car or moto, you won’t mind..

The location was perfect to reach the main sights in Chiang Mai on foot. The staff were kind at all times and our room was well equipped. Great value for money. Super comfortable, I'd go back anytime!
