Pathae & Tony were extremely welcoming & funny. Nothing was too much trouble. This was our first time in a homestay away from home and honestly you could not meet a nicer couple!! If we were to return to North Thailand then we would not hesitate in booking at the homestay again. The price was really good too, very affordable for such a well maintained tranquil place. I really liked the fact that you were out of the tourist trap and around the locals, taxi to town around 100 THB, maybe 120 during rush hour. Garden and pool area beautiful. Room and bed was large and great air conditioning & fan above bed. Complimentary water, tea & coffee everyday. Nice food and made fresh. Owners provide airport transfer too at affordable rate so saved any hassle of trying to book a taxi espically as we had an early morning flight.

A beautiful corner of Chiang Rai, the gardens are beautiful and relaxing. A great place to spend a few days away from hustle and bustle in peaceful surroundings. Room was as advertised and very comfortable, with all the amenities needed. Only a 15 minute drive to the centre of Chiang Rai, and not far from all the relevant tourist sites such as blue/white temple & Khun korn waterfall. Easy to hire a scooter and park at the homestay, or get grab/taxi's as and when needed.

Nothing to dislike!

The location was beautiful, a little out of town but only 10 mins to the town and accessible to all sites. Was really quiet and lovely to be able to sit by the pool. Very easy to rent scooters or get transport. Owners were really helpful and friendly, it had a very relaxed atmosphere. Would totally recommend going to Elephant Peace Project for an ethical encounter with elephants, this can be organised by the Homestay.

Everything was great, only minor comment is food options could have had more vegetarian.

Outdoors facilities (swimming pool and bar/restaurant) are a real plus. Breakfast was really nice and home cooked at the moment. Staff is super friendly and helpful and makes you feel home.

Location is not very practical, you need a car to go anywhere. The owner provides a cheap shuttle service with her car and it’s reasonably price though. would still stay there because the place is really nice.

Everything! This place is an absolute gem; Patty and Tony are wonderfully welcoming owners who settled our family group of 7 right in and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The site is an oasis of calm; it is such a stunning place to stay with a great swimming pool, great lounging and relaxation areas and great outlook of the surrounding green hills. The added bonus is that it conveniently located to all the attractions via a car and so reasonably priced. The food was STUNNINGLY TASTY! And don't be concerned if it seems pricey as the portion sizes are HUGE! The local walk up to the rock hill was awesome with great views of the surrounding area. Just keep moving as the mosquitoes were quick to move in!

Nothing, this place is great. Friendly staff, great location on the edge of the action surrounded by great scenery, and very reasonably priced.

The hosts and the place was absolutely superb. What else can we say, extremely recommended for all, nothing you could ask would be too much trouble, excellent English spoken, delightful place. Superb.

Leaving for chiangmai, I wish I'd stayed the extra days at home stay chiangrai

The food was excellent, a full menu of traditional Thai and American standard fare. The family is very friendly and helpful and meals felt like family time. The pool area and outdoor seating felt like a botanical garden oasis. Loved it.

The hosts, rooms and food are brilliant. This is the 3rd time I stayed at The Homestay, and never disappoints. In a lovely setting situated and being served a star meal every is beyond expectation. Thank you for the kindness and all you did for me.

Myself and my girlfriend were travelling around the North to Phu Chi Fa for her birthday. The first night in Chiang Rai on the way there was a bit rough, having arrived at our lodgings when they hadn't received our booking. Not the greatest after hours on the bike. We stayed here on the way, I mentioned it was my girlfriends birthday and if they could do something with flowers etc. They not only did that but bumped us up to a better room, which was really kind. The room was lovely and spacious with great facilities, the bed was comfortable and it felt really homey. The actual homestay was beautiful - the garden and setting were lovely, the pool was magic and it was in a quiet area. It would definitely be beneficial to have your own transport as it's about 10-15mins out of Central town but there are some lovely places nearby. The owner Tony was personable, friendly and was relaxed in a way that it really did feel like a homestay. His daughter Cindy (hope I'm spelling it correctly) was on top of everything, friendly and kind. They were wonderful to deal with and I really appreciate them and what they did. My only regret is not getting to spend more time there and fully appreciate the setting. Definitely where I would like to stay on future visits. Thanks again for the awesome end stay of our trip x
