We stayed in a Balcony River View Suite and paid GBP£575 for a week. At the end of the Driveway up to this hotel is the Blue Temple. It was great to be able to wander down there and look around. We could pick quieter times to look around without travelling there. We also found The Bike Cafe through the other side of the Temple. Well worth a visit. We loved the enormous bed. The mattress was very firm and comfortable. Our room was good - very large, lovely bathroom and a sizeable balcony. The fixtures and fittings were not ultra modern but they were solid and tasteful. The bathroom had twin sinks, separate toilet, large jet bath with a view over the grounds (if you wanted it!), separate shower cubicle with seating ledge again with a large window overlooking grounds (Full sturdy blinds were available for those who prefer privacy!). There was a separate large walk-in wardrobe/dressing room where there was a safe for valuables. Coffee and Tea making facilities were provided at the side of a desk area. Plenty of power points available for charging tech too. There was a patio table and chairs on the balcony along with a full sized Day Bed and cushions. Another full sized Day Bed was available in the main room along with plenty of cushions and the traditional firm triangular Thai Cushions. The pool was huge but quiet so it was great to spend time swimming and we had plenty of loungers available to relax on. There was a gym but we didn't use it. The restaurant had a good menu and we ordered A La Carte rather than buffet options. The food was fresh and very tasty. Breakfast provided plenty of choice for all nationalities. Overall, we were very happy with the room and facilities. There was plenty of comfort and space, providing excellent value for money.

We used the bikes offered, to travel to local shops (about half a mile away). The tyres were bald, half flat and the kick stands jammed. We didn't feel too safe riding on the main road with no lights provided at night.

This place does the job, offering excellent value for money, with large and well-appointed if somewhat generic rooms in the main building. A good base for exploring the region. It adjoins the Blue Temple and is just a few minutes by tuktuk from the centre of Chiang Rai. We particularly enjoyed a restaurant called Chivit Thamma Da which is about 15 mins walk away.

Breakfast very passable considing it was included in the reasonable overall price. Minibar was not ready stocked, but cold beer was offered from a large fridge with decent selection at reception.

A beautiful resort on the quieter side of the river. Next to the Blue Temple. Grounds are lovely, views of the river and rooms excellent and large (take the room with the balcony...worth the extra) Room service is reasonably priced and delicious - worth the balcony to eat with a view A few lovely cafes along the river within walking distance

Not easy to walk to the town from here - take note ...(at least 3 minutes and not an easy walk)

Excellent hotel/resort with comfortable, spacious rooms. Nice big swimming pool and garden with mango and lychee trees.... breakfast was ok albeit the western selection was a little basic... there were also not a lot of western guests so that makes some sense...

at times there were not enough loungers at the swimming pool The hotel is some distance from the city centre, so you have to foresee to have some transport... Hotels in city centre would not have the same resort feeling though, so that is a choice to make...

Nice resort. Spacious room with classic furniture. Very good buffet breakfast with Asian and western food. Friendly, professional staf. Beautful pool and surroundings. Quiet location near the river. Near the Blue Temple.

Impossible to open windows. With mosquito protection this would be the best for sleeping at night in "winter" months. Mattress rather hard. Out of the centre, no restaurants or shops nearby. We had our own car, which was convenient.

The hotel complex is quiet big, the staff friendly. The room was spacious and clean, but a little bit old.

We had a suite with balcony, but it was not like 5 stars. We have got used houseshoes! Asking for new one, we have got other used houseshoes from other room!!! This could be really improved for a five star hotel. The bed is very big (2,4m width), but very hard! The windows could/should be cleaned again.

Excellent location with great amenities. Service was impeccable and complementary breakfast was good. Lack of tourists due to COVID-19 fallout meant facility upkeep had been slightly sacrificed. Grounds were not as well kept as we suspect they might otherwise have been.

Our reservation clearly indicated rooms included free breakfast for up to six guests, but we were charged for our 8 year-old at breakfast, though there were only five of us total.

View to the river is nice, room is clean and love the spacious bathroom. Had some laps in the large pool. Breakfast was varied and coffee was good.

The outdoor massage room was dirty. It seems it hasn't been clean for a while, probably because of Covid, they didn't get many clients. Otherwise the massage was itself average. Got bitten by mosquitoes which wasn't quite the relaxing experience we wanted.

In a quiet location next to the river. Huge pool. The shower was very nice and the toiletries were helpful. Bed was very comfortable.

A ceiling fan would have been nice. Too cold with the a/c on and a bit warm without it. Breakfast was reasonable but nothing special.

Comfortable 5-star hotel, classic style, quiet. Beautiful view. Nice bathroom with good shower and bathtub. Large bed. Professional staff, perfect English. Very nice pool and natural setting along the river. Excellent buffet breakfast. Free bikes. Large car parking. Especially low price with covid-19.

Rather hard mattress, common in Thailand. Impossible to open windows (because of aircon?). I would have liked to open windows when the weather is cooler. Although breakfast was excellent, lunch and dinner were OK, but not special. I didn't find international TV vchannels. No real problem. Overall a very nice place to recommend.
