I have stayed in Koh Chang many times, but this was my first time at Banpu. The location is excellent , right on a private beach , our room was upgraded to a sea view and was comfortable with a balcony and a good shower . Some basic toiletries are provided free of charge. The staff are polite and helpful. The restaurant menu and food are good. This 3 day trip was great value and we will be back .

Parking at the front can be quite tight, although there is another area to park nearby. Some parts of the building are in need of maintenance, but overall, it was very good.

It was a great location, the food was okay and the staff were great. The resort could do with a maintenance programme though.

The place was looking as though it needed some general maintenance.

We got really spacious room on the 1st floor in new building with sea view having outside acccess to the sea . There is no beach as such you have stairs to enter the water so for small kids might be an issue as there are also stones a bit we were with our 2 year old and we had no issue with swimming , 5 min walking you can go to the longer sandy beach and select from multiple spots . In the evening all the beach is with tables for dinner with lights which gives really nice atmosphere which we didn’t have on other beaches on ko chang Location is central hotel is very nice breakfast was also very good with wide selection of options

Everything was good

The location is straight onto the beach & the property is located on White Sand Beach with plenty’s of restaurants & shops nearby. the breakfast is adequate, serving Thai food along with Omelettes/pancakes/ fruit/cereal etc. There is a choice of tea/coffee/chocolate & fruits juices too. The pool looks maintained and whilst is small ish it serves the purpose. We were offered an upgrade onto one of the rooms overlooking the sea, the room looked light & airy however we opted for the bungalow style that we had originally picked as felt more an authentic stay.

Nothing springs to mind however if you wish to venture to other resorts such as Kai Bae or lonely beach you will need to either rent a bike or get a songteaw as not walkable!

Great friendly staff, good location.

Location is at the end of White Sand beach, so you close to the vibe, but hear no noise from the "vibey" area. Bungalow is spacious and only a few steps to the beach. Not suitable swimming beach for kids (too rocky), but no problem for adults as you just cross the rocky bit and then you reach the sand. Swimming pool is nice too. If I was someone that did repeat stays, I would stay here again.

The room is not bright enough to my liking, but this seems to be a "problem" all over Thailand.

Lovely hotel, rustic feel, overall was very pleased with the hotel, restaurant food was very good but a little pricy compared to the surrounding places.

Couldn’t get sun beds around the pool, only 12 off and about 50 guests so you can do the maths. Strange that there never seemed to be anybody on them though. Hotel need to sort this.

We were kindly upgraded to one of the beach front bungalows. The room was lovely, really comfy bed with a mosquito net, good air con & loved the tropical looking bathroom. Really liked the porch area which was practically on the beach. Location was excellent, shops & lots of cafes & restaurants near by. Also ate at the resorts restaurant which was really good & great prices. highly recommend this resort.

This resort is really nice! My friend and I were lucky and got an upgrade to our room :) The shower here is AMZING which as a backpacker you know is a big deal so it was really nice to have hot water + good pressure :) The staff are super nice and the beds are comfy! Our room also did have AC which was nice and we also had a mini fridge!

There was no outlets by our beds which was weird and inconvenient + I personally hought the lounge chairs at this resort were very uncomfortable

Locations and atmosphere where amazing couldn't fault, breakfast very good proximity to beach amazing. Over all a cosy place to stay.

Sadly didn't get the room booked as there was an issue and room booked was under going maintenance that being said the hotel gave me a 27. 5% discount which was fantastic other than that the score would of been a 10. Marked down as it was a special occasion and is why I booked the particular room
