Myself and my partner were pleasantly surprised with the Chang Buri Resort, it’s so reasonably priced for what it is. The staff were all so lovely and attentive. The breakfast was a fairly basic buffet but definitely decent (we had waffles and bacon most mornings). The beds were comfy and really nice basic but clean rooms with a nice big balcony surrounded by a pool. The infinity pool was amazing and you can watch the sunset from the pool. The beach this was on was definitely our favourite on the island of the popular ones, was so clean and had some great restaurant/bar options and a stunning sunset! We ate in the restaurant a couple of times which was right on the water, and the food was amazing, some of the best we had on the island in-fact. Would absolutely recommend to stay here for a great experience at not too much cost.

great location near the white sand beach. excellent hotel area, pools and front view of the sea from their open sun deck. Nice villa with large toilet and a balcony with partial sea view. friendly staffs.

They don’t have a restaurant/ spa or any service other than the rooms, pool and the breakfast. Their reception and all other services are unavailable after 6-7 PM everyday, probably due to the lean time they have endured in the last two years. Hopefully it will get better with tourists influx!

almost everything was perfect, the Pool Villa is nice, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, good WiFi, huge terrace, away from the noisy road, so a quiet room… breakfast buffet has everything you need and you can sit outside in a beautiful surrounding with seaview… beach beds with mattress and beach towels, good and cheap food at the beach bar, free use of kayak and SUP… friendly staff!

the safe in the Pool Villa was too small! just enough for wallet and passports, but not for camera equipment and laptop - need to be replaced by a state of the art bigger laptop safe which is common nowadays! lots of dust and dirt under the bed, needs a deep cleaning! unfortunately you can not walk along the beach to the main White Beach as shown on the photos due to high water even at low tide but you can use a kayak for free or walk the road…

very good location, price, close to white sand beach.

Room was super clean every day. Housekeeping always came early. Location is great, this area has the most to offer around Ko Chang currently. Lovely pool area with private entrance to sea, also have kayak available for use which was fun. Loads of fish in the sea so used my snorkel here a lot!

Breakfast was quite boring after a couple of days, not a great selection of food and was always cold.

Loved the pool and surrounds, great buffet breakfast, quite liked the unusual layout of the room (stayed in main building on beach side), comfy bed, deep bathtub and good sized room with comfy lounge by window. Staff great, omelette girl lovely. Very enjoyable stay.

TBH, the rooms/furniture are old/dated and not of great quality, but this did not spoil the comfort/overall experience. Quite a walk to middle of whitesand and opposite girl bars but noise not upsetting in room.

The view and accommodation

Hotel did not provide a buffet service. Had to request slippers in room as missing. The bar area was closed at short notice or not open at all. There was no pool assistance including having to find pool towels yourself. The hotel kept stating it is low season and therefore service is limited. I suggest the hotel should not advertise as open for business when the resort is unable to operate as per normal, considering the cost of accommodation.

Everything was so good, the location is amazing! Hotel has 2 parts, separated by a road. One faces the hills, another one - the sea. Very serene, beautiful and peaceful. Would love to come again 💙

The hotel was almost empty but the staff didn't give us time to wait for the taxi, because there were 'next visitors'. When we came out there was no one there, this was not very nice.

Comfortable rooms, great pools throughout the complex, we booked two poolside rooms with connecting balcony, was perfect, kids swam right outside the door and pool is fresh water, very nice. Great views down the beach and when the tide is out you can walk along the beach to all the bars and restaurants without going along the road.

The tiles around the pool and on the walkways are very slippery when wet, extreme caution and no running. Towels could be refreshed with new ones. But everything was lovely.

The bungalow by the pool was fantastic, large room and nice veranda. The pool was really good overlooking the sea and plenty of sun beds, some with shade from the trees others with sun umbrellas. The highlight has to be the breakfast, most probably the best we have had in Thailand, great selection and all fresh eaten by side of pool.

Hard to find anything to complain about it ticks all the box’s for us.
