Myself and my partner were pleasantly surprised with the Chang Buri Resort, it’s so reasonably priced for what it is. The staff were all so lovely and attentive. The breakfast was a fairly basic buffet but definitely decent (we had waffles and bacon most mornings). The beds were comfy and really nice basic but clean rooms with a nice big balcony surrounded by a pool. The infinity pool was amazing and you can watch the sunset from the pool. The beach this was on was definitely our favourite on the island of the popular ones, was so clean and had some great restaurant/bar options and a stunning sunset! We ate in the restaurant a couple of times which was right on the water, and the food was amazing, some of the best we had on the island in-fact. Would absolutely recommend to stay here for a great experience at not too much cost.

We have stayed here a few times now and have just booked again to stay in May/June. The rooms are spacious, lovely and bright and the bed is very comfortable. We stay Hillside with a view over the pool and the mountains. Breakfast is great with a large variety of food to choose from. Staff are polite and friendly and always greet you with a smile. Pool areas are clean and well maintained and there are steps down into the sea with loungers along the shore. It would be great if there were more sun loungers added to the Hillside pool as the few that are there get snapped up early in the morning.

Overall - a great superb stay. There are two pools - of which one is BIG and has a TREMENDOUS view of the sea. There are also good concrete steps down to the sea. We stayed in a Hillside room, which was very pleasant and very clean- with a (normal in these countries) hard bed. The staff was very helpful - especially when we almost missed our bus to BKK after checking out. WE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT! (Please note at our stay in late November, the sea was very high - therefore there was no public beach available (it was "drowned").

It could be a bit noisy from the neighbors - and we heard their TV through the wall. We also missed pancakes at the breakfast, when they have an egg station for omelets etc. (It does not have to be fruit pancakes - but a sweet pancake is very tasty in the morning). And, please clean the terrace floor by the Seaview a bit more often, including removing the plastic litter at the spa beds.

I spent three weeks here in November 2024. The resort is located at the far end of White Sand Beach, but the location isn’t an issue since everything is within walking distance. The resort is divided into two sections: Hill Side and Sea Side. I stayed in the Hill Side building near the pool. It was very comfortable and quiet. The staff is polite and helpful. Minor technical issues are negligible, especially compared to the general standard in Thailand—this place is well above average. It’s also worth mentioning the breakfast. It’s diverse, offering both European and Thai cuisine, and everything is delicious. There’s something for everyone. Although there’s no direct beach access from the Sea Side, there’s an infinity pool and sun loungers facing the sea. For a nicer beach, it’s best to get there by scooter or on foot, which takes about 15 minutes. The nearest public beach isn’t particularly appealing. I highly recommend White Sand Beach.

almost everything was perfect, the Pool Villa is nice, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, good WiFi, huge terrace, away from the noisy road, so a quiet room… breakfast buffet has everything you need and you can sit outside in a beautiful surrounding with seaview… beach beds with mattress and beach towels, good and cheap food at the beach bar, free use of kayak and SUP… friendly staff!

the safe in the Pool Villa was too small! just enough for wallet and passports, but not for camera equipment and laptop - need to be replaced by a state of the art bigger laptop safe which is common nowadays! lots of dust and dirt under the bed, needs a deep cleaning! unfortunately you can not walk along the beach to the main White Beach as shown on the photos due to high water even at low tide but you can use a kayak for free or walk the road…

Great location, only a 5 min walk from White Sand beach. For those who don’t want to walk, the pool is great, and there are also plenty of deck chairs with a great view. We loved our little house as we had all the privacy we needed. Very spacious, with a comfortable bed. Plenty of restaurants around with tasty and well priced food. Staff was lovely as well!

For the price we paid and the beautiful layout of the room, I wish it would have been a bit more clean (I found the sheets dirty one day, there was a lot of dust on the bathroom shutters which were left like that, bathtub was not cleaned properly when we arrived and it remained like that as well, the bathroom ceiling had marks of a leak, little things like this that takes away from the experience of it all).

Room was super clean every day. Housekeeping always came early. Location is great, this area has the most to offer around Ko Chang currently. Lovely pool area with private entrance to sea, also have kayak available for use which was fun. Loads of fish in the sea so used my snorkel here a lot!

Breakfast was quite boring after a couple of days, not a great selection of food and was always cold.

great location near the white sand beach. excellent hotel area, pools and front view of the sea from their open sun deck. Nice villa with large toilet and a balcony with partial sea view. friendly staffs.

They don’t have a restaurant/ spa or any service other than the rooms, pool and the breakfast. Their reception and all other services are unavailable after 6-7 PM everyday, probably due to the lean time they have endured in the last two years. Hopefully it will get better with tourists influx!

The pools are amazing, and the loungers are of excellent quality. Breakfasts are generally good. The staff is very friendly, always smiling and ready to help. We rented a car from the hotel, and everything went smoothly. There’s a massage place and a 7-Eleven conveniently nearby. The combination of forest, pools, beach, and cozy atmosphere makes it perfect for a peaceful getaway.

The place could use some minor renovations.
