We’ve been in Andalay about 8 years ago. Ofcourse the place is a much more run down since then but it’s still small and cute.

The bed was ROCK hard and we really struggled to sleep. I like harder beds and have one at home, too but this was next level hard :( Like it was literally painful to sleep and our backs were so stiff and hurt the next days. Thankfully on third day when we asked, we were kindly offered a mattress topper and it did help a little bit.

Second time returning to Andalay Boutique and it has got better, and I think that is down to the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, all questions were met with smiles and answers. The rooms are really good size and love sitting on the veranda looking out over the pool and the beach. Will definitely be back and recommend to others, thank you again.

Really lovely welcome on arrival. All staff we encountered were so nice, good breakfast selection and the location was amazing. Nice to have the pool and the sea to choose from for a swim. Rooms are a very good size with your own private outside seating and everything was super clean.

Best location on Koh Lanta. Klong Nin beach has a great swimming beach but also enough restaurants and bars. Relatively quiet vs. busy northern beaches. Pool was stunning, right next to beach. Sea view room overlooking ocean was amazing. Setting was relaxing. Spacious rooms. Aircon worked well. Even though it was not perfect, I would still recommend as we enjoyed our stay.

Property was a bit dated. Rooms were nice but in need of a little tlc. Bed was very hard, I asked for a comforter which helped. Rooms not soundproofed and some nights quiet while others thumping from bars down the beach. Some staff very friendly while others indifferent. Breakfast was basic and could do with some variation for the room price. After 6 days needed a change up. We had a pipe burst in our room but they fixed it quickly

Lovely hotel in koh lanta, on a nice and reasonably quiet beach but still within reach of local restaurants and bars. Room is lovely and clean with good views and amenities. Absolute stand out is the hotel spa where you can get great massages outside on a platform overlooking the beach. The staff there were lovely. The pool is also very nice and clean.

Personally I found the bed too firm which did interrupt my sleep a little but this was fine for my husband so is just personal preference I guess

We felt looked-after at Andalay. Everyone at the resort was friendly and helpful. The pool was a bonus, even though the resort is on the beach. There were plenty of deck chairs although the sun beds were always full because of people leaving their towels there even when they weren’t present. The gardens are beautifully kept and the restaurant serving food both lunchtime and evening, on top of breakfast, meant that you didn’t need to leave all day.

Nothing.

The hotel is positioned directly on the beach, so close close you can always hear the waves. This is stunning beach, a bit more rustic beach than Long Beach, with more smaller, independent restaurants and bars; a slightly more relaxed, bohemian vibe. The sunsets are breathtaking. The pool is a good size, very clean and there were always plenty of sun beds and parasols (although the hotel wasn’t full when we were there). We had a sea view room which was a great size, looking over the pool and beyond to the sea. The hotel is quite small (maybe 20 rooms) but is very professionally run so still feels like a quality hotel. The breakfast is simple but tasty with lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and a choice of eggs, bacon, sausage every day. The little restaurant serves a huge range of delicious Thai food and seems to have lots of western options as well. The staff are incredibly kind and considerate.

we found the bed to be a bit too hard but we mentioned this and they immediately added a mattress topper which made all the difference. There is a fair bit of road noise. It’s not a busy road at all but the insulation isn’t great so you’re quite aware of the odd vehicle going past. It didn’t bother at all us but some may prefer to bring earplugs.

I liked Wad, the friendly Thai lady that was always so warm and friendly. Our beach front accommodation was very nice. We enjoyed the fact that we were on the beach and in the village. We had plenty of options for cocktails and eating. We feel Klong Nin beach was the perfect location to tour the island from with everything we needed at hand.

Ww can only say that the bed was a little too hard for our liking and that some light fittings in the poolneed some attention to be fixed. One was hanging out from its placement.

The location is the most positive aspect of Andalay: in front of the Sea and close of bars, supermarket, atc. The garden Is full of different kind of plants and very well finished. Large bedroom. Jin was kind and smily.

The rooms are dark, the breakfast isn't varying and the restaurant was lousy compare to the expensive price. The risponsable of the restaurant wasn't nice. The check out should be at 12 am, but they ask us to leave the room 1 hour before. We ask them to get in contact for us with a tour operator for a trip to Kho Rok and Ko Haa, we paid 2000 bath par person (including park fee), but we've got later that the price could be lowest (save ~ 300 bath per person).

Beautiful cottages, clean, modern and well kept. Excellent staff, and extremely helpful and friendly. We booked in last minute after a nightmare at another property and honestly, everything from check in to check out was a dream. Bathroom was fabulous, the pool is spectacular and the setting on a private beach.... All I can say is make sure you go to see the sunset.

Loved everything, no cons.
