A chill slice of heaven. The family takes good care of you. Best food in Koh Lanta. We spend 6 days just relaxing in the bamboo-huts by the beach - enjoyed the tranquility. We felt like we had it all to ourselves. When we were thirsty or hungry, we just ordered drinks and food - we never ate anywhere else during our stay. Best breakfast we’ve had in Koh Lanta (a la carte - not buffet). The little cabin with seaview had everything we needed. It’s not luxery, but it’s very clean. I especially enjoyed the balcony from where I worked every day (excellent wifi) - and also was served food whenever I felt for that. I recommend this place, If you want to stay at a resort, where you’re not just another tourist at a mainstream resort - but you’re being treated as a guest in a familys private resident.

Nothing was bad

This is a little gem of a place at the end of a lovely beach. The staff are really friendly and the food is exceptional. We had a beachfront bungalow where we could chill out and relax on an evening and watch the sunset. The breakfast was a la carte served right on the beach. You can use the pool next door if you buy a drink as the tide is out most of the day until late afternoon. Lots of lovely beach bars along the beach and the hotel has live music and a fire show. If you want a relaxing stay in koh lanta this is the perfect base. If you can’t be bothered going out to eat you have the best food in koh lanta right on your doorstep

Would have liked a pool but not a problem as you can easily find a pool bar nearby and we were out most days anyway

I loved my stay here. The place is run by a super friendly and hospitable local family. It sits directly at the beach where you also eat complimentary breakfast. The overall atmosphere was warm and relaxed. The place has its restaurant which I found to be affordable with yummy options. They have an in-house laundry service that is reasonably priced and works like a charm. It is a quite noisy beach with neighboring cafes playing music.

The neighboring cafe/restaurant seems to be a bit touristy with fireshows and music. But nothing the hotel can do anything about. Would still 100 percent recommend the stay.

The family that owns the business are absolutely lovely and so helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. It is a peaceful place right on the beach. The food at the restaurant is excellent and a wide variety of choices.

This is not under the control of the hotel, but the fire show in the evening at the property next door is annoying and the coral/rocks on the beach at low tide isn't ideal, but all of the hotels on that side have the same issue. At high tide, the water is great.

Our stay at A&J Place truly felt like a cozy home. Everything lived up to our expectations, and our room was not only nicely decorated but also equipped with all the essentials. The daily addition of a water bottle was a thoughtful touch we appreciated. Breakfast was a delightful affair with a great spread of coffee, juice, a fruit plate, and a tasty selection of food—perfect for a good start to the day. We also had the pleasure of trying out Jeab's Dining, the family-owned restaurant on the property. We'd recommend exploring the menu, especially the Massaman curry and mango sticky rice, and don't forget to try the cocktails/mocktails from the awesome superstar bartender. Our favorite moments were spent in the beachside bungalows, just lying back, listening to the waves, and enjoying a good book. To sum it up, if you're in search of a laid-back beach stay, A&J Place comes highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in this family-run bed& breakfast. Jeab’s cuisine is amazing! Everything is freshly prepared and very tasteful! We often stayed on the beautiful garden terrace to have dinner. The terrace has an amazing view overlooking the sea. The lovely and kind staff make you feel right at home. After one day they knew what I and my father liked to drink for breakfast and which fruits we like the most. They were really flexible, for example, they served our breakfast late when we slept in or prepared breakfast before 7 am when we had our diving trip! If you want to check out some other restaurants or bars there are several places along the main road just 5 min away. There are many cosy bars along the beach within walking distance from A&J. The owners help you rent a scooter or do other activities!

Because there is low tide around noon (depending on the moon and the month) the water is not so easily accessible. That said it was really not a problem because the nearest beach was really not far away (15 min with the scooter) from A&J.

Really beautiful Guesthouse which is managed by a kind family. I stay there for 4 nights. The Guesthouse is directly located at the Klong Khong beach. You can swim at the beach only during high tide because of the rocks in the water. There is also a restaurant and a small beach bar located in the Guesthouse area. The Thai food is really delicious there. On some days per week they have a fire show or live music directly at the beach / bar area.

We had a great time at this hotel. The room was very clean and had everything as described. What made the difference was the interaction with the owner Jeab and her family. She attended every one of our wishes and made us feel at home. Being here in the low season was good because it's so peaceful and we even had a "private concert" while having dinner one night.... Also her cooking is amazing! You have to try it out and if you have the time, you can even learn to cook thai food with her :). We'd definitely recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed 6 nights at the resort and enjoyed it so much! The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very attentive. We loved to chill out in one of the beautiful small pavillons near the beach. The breakfast is very delicious and Jeab is an awesome cook. We absolutely fell in love with the massaman curry (wich we ate three times). It was one of the best meals we had on our whole trip through thailand. They also organized a scooter for us. We would definitely come back for another stay. Thank you so much for everything.

The location is excellent, by the sea and in a very calm beach, with quick access to the rest of the island and many restaurants around. The property is managed by a very nice family, super helpful people. Very good vibe! The facililities are also good. They have a little restaurant inside the hotel that can provide other meals besides breakfast. And the food is delicious.
