Just had a great stay at Lapaya..large bungalow overlooking garden and pool...staff great and always cheerful..we rented a scooter which really transformed our stay as the hotel is centrally located so with the scooter it was easy to reach everywhere..same price renting direct from hotel as everywhere else but you don't need to worry about leaving passports or money security..Breakfast good and they will make pretty much what you ask..Pool area excellent. Some superb restaurants within a 100yds from the hotel..Overall great value for money and would definitely stay again.

I never quite seemed to get the hang of the shower although the wife seemed to manage it..Be careful not to leave food or sweet drinks lying around or you could invite micro ants in. A couple more sunbeds around the pool would be good too.

The little bungalows offer a large space with a sitting room and veranda area with seating. Comfortable beds, good shower pressure, small fridge. Breakfast was a choice of 7 set meals. Staff very friendly. Pool very clean and refreshing Beach 5 min walk. Lots of small authentic Thai restaurants a few minutes away.

Location - the beach although rocky when tide out..in evening the chilled bars ..really the best

GREAT PLACE! GREAT STAFF! Great beds, atmosphere, food, WIFI, location, near 7-11 and great places to eat at night and in the afternoon! The pool was FANTASTIC also!

NOTHING. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE. GREAT PLACE TO STAY while in Koh Lanta. More chill and quiet then Koh Phi Phi. Beach water isn't as great as PHI PHI but still a nice place to relax.

The room was spacious, clean and comfy. We had a separate lounge to the bedroom which was nice. Bathroom was massive with a powerful shower. Wi-Fi was good and the staff were lovely. We hired a moped with them and they were a great help when we had some trouble.

The pool was under construction (due to it being low season) but there was no warning of this. They allowed us to use a pool of another hotel a 2 minute walk away which was very considerate. However that pool was filthy and had ALOT of dead creatures in it. That was hotel also looked empty. Not a fault of Lapaya’s. If the pool was in use it would have been a 10/10

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and spatious and the garden beautiful. Cleaning was okay but not perfect. Great food and breakfast.

The downpart of this hotel was its location right next to a busy road. When in the room we didn’t hear the traffic, but in the restaurant where the breakfast was served the noise was loud. The beach is a short walk away but you have to cross the road to get there. The beach has a lot of rocks that made it difficult to swim. Swimmingshoes is recommended.

Lanta Lapaya was an amazing one month stay! The staff, facilities, the pool and grounds (flowers, plants & trees amazing) size of the bungalow, cleanliness, breakfast, full menu and the constants smiles of the staff were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The only weak link to my stay was the wifi .. weak security & constantly disconnecting. I have a Thai SIM card so it didn’t matter for me 😊

The location was good for us. It was close to a road but was up a small hill so the noise didn’t get to the bungalow. Very close to lots of restaurant and mini mart. Short walk to the 7-11 and some souvenier shops. It was less than 5 minute walk to the beach. They have scooters available to rent although we didn’t feel we needed one. Good breakfast options. The green space and infinity pool were wonderful.

The bungalows are very spacious, much bigger than we thought which was very nice. It was quiet during the nights and the staff were helpful with arranging a scooter. Good location just by the main road and close to the beach and several restaurants. It was nice to have different options for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay!

Wi-Fi wasn’t the fastest. The room and facilities were a bit worn down, you can tell it’s been running for a while and that a lot of people have been staying in the rooms. It was nice for a shorter stay but I wouldn’t stay two weeks here

The room was very big, clean and comfortable. The hotel area is lovely and relaxing. The location is good, but i recommend a scooter, to explore the whole island. The staff was mostly very friendly and helpful. We could rent a scooter for the week, everything went smooth. Overall we had a great week and would definitly recommend a stay. We will come back, if we visit Thailand again.

On two days the water didn't work for some hours. Also we had some problems with the laundry, since they lost a piece, but the manager refunded us the price. Without this, the resort would be a 10/10 for us.
