The owner of the bungalow truly sets the tone for a welcoming stay with their helpfulness and kindness. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The food at Lanta Emerald Bungalow was another highlight of my stay. Every meal was a delightful experience, offering a delicious taste of local cuisine, prepared with care and served with warmth. The flavors were authentic and each dish was a treat to the senses. Additionally, the location of Lanta Emerald Bungalow is just perfect. Situated just a few steps from the beach, it offers the ideal balance of tranquility and accessibility. The serene setting allowed for peaceful moments, while the close proximity to the beach meant that I could easily enjoy the sun, sand, and sea at any time. Overall, my stay at Lanta Emerald Bungalow was filled with comfort, excellent service, and memorable moments. It’s a place I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location with outstanding hospitality.

The owner Rob &Ba great persons really helping and looking after his guest all of them , to us was particularly kind as he did help when our son was feeling sick ..in one day back on his feet !! And really listen to his advice ( I didn’t …and I rent a tuk tuk .. and really I should listen to him😊 …food is excellent!!! We try one other place but back straight to his cousine and super nice is the 420free bar great staff too and top selection of music that make really relaxing and pleasant

..that I could not give 6 out of 5 point really deserve exceed expectations!!!!

Nice casual place to spend a few nights along with a good restaurant.

Too many young couples with crying 2-4 yr olds out of control. Found a nicer bungalow a mile down the road with no pool which may discourage the kid atmosphere. There was blaring music half the nights we were there 2 resorts over that went til 1am or later. Not my style of relaxation.

This is easily one of the friendliest places we ever stayed. It's a family-run resort with a very chill vibe. The owner, who is very engaging and talkative, will go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. He will book a tour for you if that's what you want, but he won't be pushy. Friendly, easy-going staff and you'll see their own children running around in the resort all the time. They have kayaks there for you to borrow free of charge. Fast and reliable WiFi for the occasional rainy day or if your kids need to get out of the midday sun 😊

Great location, directly by the beach! Nice, simple and very clean bungalows with a safe. No deposit necessary! Great staff! Host was very helpful regarding transfer to the airport, traveling around with a scooter and also regarding our check out. We were able to stay longer in our bungalow (late check out) without any extra costs because our transfer to the airport was in the afternoon. Additionally, you can eat in their restaurant very good Thai food and directly next to the resort there’s also a great bar (Freeway 420 Bar). Len, the owner and his barkeeper Thao are great, and they have delicious drinks! Try the Pina Colada and the Mojito 😉

Nothing! We would have loved to stay longer!

I have to honestly say that after our trip through Thailand this was the best place to stay. This was not so perfect as other places are but definitely had the best "vibe"... And I would definitely come back here. The restaurant and bar were excellent - we had many meals somewhere else but this one we said was the best in terms of quality, taste and price. The rooms were quite simple but at the end nothing was missing there.

The thing to improve is to have daily cleaning - we had cleaning in once in two days. Mainly because of the trash. Beach towels would be nice to have.

- the kindness of the staff, this is a family business and Ron cares deeply about the wellness of his guests - we got upgraded to a family room that was super huge and nicely decorated - great great location, the bungalows are in front of a beautiful and quiet beach. they have a restaurant and a bar where you can eat with a beautiful view, or have a drink watching the sunset. we are there everyday, the menu is huge and food is delicious - they also arranged for us to rent scooters for a cheap price - they are many shops within walking distance (7 eleven a few min walk) - very quiet at night, you hear nothing - Ron helped us to book all our excursions (cooking class, Koh rok, elephants sanctuary etc) and our return trip to the airport too - there is a very nice pool that is always in the sun - we were supposed to stay only 2 days but extended our stay, that should tell you how much we loved it

Beach resort with very friendly and helpful people, nothing we asked for was a problem. Large basic rooms, with good aircon and comfortable beds. Kettle with coffee provided (tea also if you ask for it), bottled water and toiletries also provided but we didn't find the advertised hairdryer (it may have been available on request but I always take my own, so I didn't ask). Wifi was good, as was the food in the restaurant. The pool area was looking a bit tired but was great for a dip when the tide was out.

Everything was more or less what we were expecting, so a few suggestions but no complaints. Some updates to the pool area would be good (shade/umbrellas, newer sunbeds and clear the weeds). Our room was one of the nearest to The Mushroom bar who have regular late night music, again we knew this but it was more often than we were expecting and nothing they can really do about it.

Ron (the owner) is the right guy on the right place. Whenewer you need anything, he is there to advice or help. His recommendations are frank and helpful without ulterior motives. My children judged this resort as best of our vacation (acommodation - calm, clean, swimming pool, beach, restaurant) and would like to return once.

There is nothing to complain. We just discussed, it would be good to have in resort source of drinking water with re-usable bottles, not to have to bring PET bottles from city.

Location is great. You are in middle of all kinds of bars and restaurants, but not next to the “party” locations… those are a few places further down… ATM around the corner just as small shops for basics. We didn’t have breakfast included but along the beach are so many nice places to go! Bungalow we stayed in 10) was good. spacious and clean. shower was blocked but when we told manager they repaired it right away. Beach is compared to other beaches not the softest sand (quite some coral) but you can swim very well at low tide in front of this resort and the bars and restaurants have a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Mixed backpackers and families… The resort itself maybe not the cosiest reception area but bungalow was good and the location on the beach great!

They could have made the reception and restaurant area more cosy. now it is very functional and no warmth with nice lights or colours like neighbours.
