The new Villa is more than nice, clean and you have everything you need! 🙏🏻 Also a bathtub… Of course COVID destroyed all over the island a lot, but they will build up step by step! The recommends before I can’t understand- you are in Thailand and not in Europe or somewhere else… Pls also see the different mentality 🎎 The staff, especially the reception lady (boss) do what she can do and help in all cases. And they know that they have to renovate asap… THX

I consider this hotel to be a 'diamond in the rough' at Lamai Beach. During the pandemic I had walked past this run-down resort on the beach and wondered how anyone would stay in such a dilapidated hotel. But on this trip I had to book on short notice and my options were limited, so I decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised! Although you can't tell from the beach, it's a large resort that extends up to a number of bungalows up on the hill. Yes, it's old, and but it's directly on the beach in a good location. Your satisfaction with your Bill Resort experience however, may depend on the type of room that you book. The beachside bungalows were nice, but beyond my budget. You need to book them far in advance. I chose NOT to book in the cheapest group of rooms in a common building. Instead I booked the 'villa', which was large and had a nice patio. If you're not sure which room to choose, ask the lady at the front desk, who is very helpful. The resort is still a bit rough around the edges but it seems like they've made incremental improvements. The restaurant is open (although I didn't eat there), the pool water looks clean, and the beachside massage ladies are available almost every day. One night per week they have a 'reggae night' at the bar. It was a bit noisy and it's not my thing, but I was glad to see that they have a popular activity. Downhill from the resort on the other side is the main road, Lamai Post Office, and a Macro. In summary, Bill Resort is in an excellent location right on Lamai Beach at an affordable price for the area.

My room's bathroom sink was clogged by previous guests and they were a bit slow to respond. Also, the cleaning service is every two days, which is fine, but after two days the manager was telling me that I hadn't been there long enough. However, they finally cleaned it and gave me fresh towels. Lastly, the easiest access to the restaurants and bars of 'downtown' Lamai is by walking down the beach. It's a minor inconvenience. You can reach other areas of the island by renting a motorcycle and driving down the hill on the other side. Overall I was very satisfied with the staff, and with my stay.

Right on beach, and pool was kept very clean. Sunbeds around pool were ok. Funky bar and restaurant area, great staff were very attentive. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Fresh water provided every day. Good wi fi in rooms and all areas. Can hire a scooter. Food was excellent and good price. Great massage on site.

Very run down, and not much attention to maintenance, but everything worked.

From when we arrived at the accomadation to the very end at the boat on the ferry port it was fantastic - I lost my bag in the tuk tuk on arrival and the hotel staff managed to track the shared taxi and get my bag back to me the next day - they planned our boat trips to the full moon party and even on check out as we was running late ‘Koh’ on reception was so helpful and drove very fast to make us arrive at the ferry on time it was leaving at 12.00 and she got us there at 11.55am just in time she even called to pre print our tickets at the office and drive us right to the door of the ferry on the pier - amazing all staff super and very friendly couldn’t have done more for us thankyou so so much 🙏 now my friends and will stay again for sure - such a lovely traditional Thai accomadation no thrills but everything you need and the true Thai touch of the friendliness of staff just completes 10/10 thankyou again - brenden

Everything was great one thing maybe is the water pressure but when your staying in jungle style huts with a tank water system This is to be expected and embraced. Everything great 5 star

Great value. Tropical feeling. Bungalows are not close to each other. Big pool with very hot water. Deluxe rooms are near the pool and beach , but budget rooms are far, you need to walk downhill a bit to reach the pool and beach. Good restaurant on the beach just turn left on the beach and walk 50 meters.

No safety box in the rooms !!! 20 minute walking to Lamai nightlife, massage, restaurants , shops ... You really need a motorbike here, but that wasn't a problem and I liked that it is a bit far from all the noise.

Right on the beach. Great pool area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms. Complimentary coffee and tea at reception at any time. Cheap scooter rental. Great location.

Parts of the complex are rundown, and the resturant was closed & in disrepair when we stayed there. Understandable, as three years of having no visitors due to covid have meant that most resorts have had a really bad time & have not been able to keep up with maintenance costs.

the beach and pool were awesome. the room was large. although the property is old, it was attractive and there were workers maintaining it.

I had no water in my shower in my room. so I used the shower at the pool. my first room had no wifi but they moved me (I had to pay for the upgrade) and then I had wifi but no shower. I didn’t mind using the outside facilities.

There was a lot of space and it was a nice property. There is a big pool that was always super clean and the resort is right on Lamai beach. We really liked our room because it was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Some spaces were a little unfinished but we didn’t really mind that
