Although a larger brand, it had the feel of a smaller boutique hotel. The rooms were great with a fantastic bathroom and bath to soak in. Great range of bars and food. A choice of multiple pools or the beach with plenty of sunbeds to catch the sun.

Only one thing I didn't like was the shale based sand on the beach, however that was the only downside.

The cleanliness of any room we walked in was immaculate! Everything was neat, clean and top quality

Had a little trouble walking up and down to our rooms due to the hills and slopes. But the workers were quick to come to our rescue if we ever needed to go uphill to our rooms or down to the beach. Would of liked to see more eating on the beach area too even though the current set up is beautiful!

It was a beautiful 5 star hotel. Everything about it felt luxe and new. The rooms were gorgeous and the main pool was heaven. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic.

Would’ve liked it to be wi to on walking distance to the main strip in Chaweng, but it was super easy to get a lift in for 200 baht each way for 3 of us. Took less than 10 mins.

Beautiful design, well-appointed rooms, great view of ocean in one room and nice plunge pool in the other room. Very friendly and attentive staff, good facilities and good on-site restaurant.

It’s very family oriented and offers lots of facilities and things to do for small children. Obviously that brings in a lot of small guests, which leads to quite a bit of noise at breakfast and in the pool. Not a big issue but something for future guests to take into account if they are not used to that.

Amazing facilities, beautifully appointment rooms. The design of this resort is simply stunning! Tried both restaurants and the food and service was on point. The staff were lovely and friendly.

The location whilst beautiful and quiet could be a little trying after more than a couple of days. At 300 baht one way to go between the hotel and central chaweng could mount up if doing the trip daily. I would highly suggest an hourly shuttle between chaweng and the resort to keep people coming back.

The whole experience from arrival at the hotel lobby, checking-in and entering our room was exceptional. And it started with a free upgrade to the full ocean view room. The staff was very welcoming and of assistance throughout the stay. Entering the room for the first time and seeing the view of the ocean was just a bliss and made us feel very relaxed. The room was spacious and very clean. Everything was on point at this hotel. Next time when we visit Koh Samui we will definately choose this hotel again!

If we have to mention something it would be transportation on Koh Samui itself and has nothing to do with the hotel. When traveling outside the hotel you will need to call a taxi which is pricey compared to other places in Thailand. Alternatively you can hire a car (which we will do for the next time).

Its a beautiful place, you have a small adult only pool, alto more space there will be nice, the team was so so so nice! The roon is big and comfortable and has a sofa which is great

We did get a food poisoning from one of the dinners, which was bumming, but the hotel and the team were very nice and did everything to help. A little far from the center We stayed in a room with a connective door, and the neighbors were noisy, they did left after 1 night but if you need quiet ask to not be in such a room

Modern new hotel. Nice and very green well-groomed area. The Regency Club has a variety of food, alcohol includes: sparkling, red and white wine, as well as beer. There is no freshly squeezed juice for breakfast at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui! All fruits are given out by a specially designated person. Coffee and tea are only made to order, which requires a long wait, and there is no information about what coffee and tea you can order, but everywhere they pour water into glasses, which no one drinks! The area near the beach is very dirty (see photo), although we saw that closer to lunch they were making attempts to remove the garbage, but all this was very late and clearly with reluctance. It is impossible to swim in the sea - just rocks, stones and corals + a very shallow bottom. The pool is small and very shallow. Vacationers do not always take away towels from sunbeds, and the staff does not monitor this. Room cleaning is very superficial and leaves much to be desired. There is no capsule coffee machine in the Club rooms - this is the first time I have seen this! There is no free shuttle to the mall (downtown), as is the case at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui. At the Regency Club, the staff tried to be friendly, but were clearly not trained: they chatting extraneous conversations among themselves, and sometimes just discuss the Club’s clients. The uniform resembles the uniform of the technical staff, and this is the Regency Club. And one more unpleasant moment: after we ate soup at the Club we had an upset stomach! Be careful with that!

Very new Hotel, beautiful design with lots of details, nice pools and small beach, fantastic breakfast with lots of choices and very friendly service staff, great seafood at the beach restaurant but very expensive.

Some rooms with very bad sewage smell, only one restaurant open at a time, beach is small and with lots of rocks, not really for swimming, outside nothing in walking distance, you need a car or scooter. Food and Drinks quite expensive.
