Marine Chaweng beach resort is simply amazing. The accommodation is just wonderful. The bedding is super comfortable, the rooms are clean, cool, up to date, modern and spacious. There is air conditioning and a fridge to keep yourself and any refreshments you may need cool in the Thai heat! I would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat, the experience is like no other hotel experience I've ever had before, it was that good! The walk from the bungalow to the beach is something that I will treasure for a lifetime the service at the hotel restaurant quite frankly rivals some of the best hotels in the world in my opinion. They also went the extra mile and transported us to the airport early in the morning, so that is something we were really grateful for as the owners work super hard to ensure the best experience for the customers. Clearly they can't do enough for their clientele! The views from the hotel restaurant are utterly divine and I'm already wanting to come back for an even longer stay next time!! I really don't understand why this place has any bad reviews at all, the place is an absolute gem of a hotel in Koh Samui close to everything but quiet enough to get a comfortable nights sleep. Peaceful location on beautiful beach with safe bathing and scenery. Lovely English speaking owner and great service from his staff team. Value for money is 100%. I loved it. Had all my meals on the beach from the resort. Very nice food at very good price. Room had air con and room safe . Mattress was how I like them , firm. Shower not a power shower but ample. A lovely resort I could easily switch off and spend a month here it’s so relaxing. Find fault if you like but maybe that’s more about you and your expectations? Better to pay more and go for five stars if you’re not a hippy at heart like me. I will be back.

Nothing I loved it. My piece of heaven .

Small Bungalow by the beach surrounded by trees and plants was a very calm place to stay. Small islands that you can reach by rented boat were the highlight. A massage by the beach was also available. The bungalow itself was very clean and comfortable.

Everything was great, shower pressure wasn't that good but it was easy to not really mind that.

The resort is an absolute dream! You can walk right out from your bungalow onto the beach, there's a lovely reception/restaurant area right on the beach (the food that we tried there was lovely). The bungalows are great size, really good air conditioning and very comfy beds.

There's nothing to not like. Even when we had a problem (our initial bungalow lock was broken so we woke up locked in), the staff helped us straight away and switched us (to an even better bungalow!) in just 2 minutes! If you do encounter any difficulties or problems the staff are lovely and will help you out.

I loved this stay so much that four nights just wasn't enough- I stayed on for an extra two and could've stayed even longer! The location is absolutely perfect (seconds from the beach, yet also a few minutes' walk from the main strip of shops and restaurants), the price exceptional value for such a large-sized, comfortable and air- conditioned room, the wifi was excellent and reliable and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. It took only a matter of seconds to reach the beach from my bungalow and I greatly enjoyed taking advantage of the on-site restaurant for breakfast and lunch while taking in the lovely view!

While the delivery of two small water bottles to my bungalow each day was appreciated, I don't think it's the best approach from a sustainability perspective- particularly with the huge plastic waste problem in Thailand. If the accommodation could instead offer a water filtration system/ cooler in the reception area, with large, refillable bottles (the 18.9L kind) where guests can refill their own bottles as required, this would not only be greatly appreciated, but highly admirable from an environmentally sustainable standpoint.

I liked how chilled everything was. Our bungalow was 10 feet from the beach. The place was fully booked but so peaceful day and night. The shower was amazing & hot or cold what ever temperature you wanted. One english tv channel. Brilliant working aircon. A fridge, toilet roll, 2 glasses lots of plug sockets. The bed wasn't the comfiest but i was still able to get a good sleep. Bed sheets all clean including towels. We booked one night and extended our stay by one more night.... We tried longer however fully booked.

I enjoyed my stay.... But i have one little nit pick...... Booking. Com pictures need to be updated. There are a few pictures on there that don't match the reality. No kettle in room, and i was unable to get beach towels. Highly recommend mosquito plug in diffuser. Or they will be a problem. We always bring this and its helpful

Tucked away from the Main Street and a stone’s throw from the beach. Big comfortable bed and clean linen and towels daily. On site restaurant serving lots of local dishes. Also there were massages available directly on the beach which were soooo good had one daily for 300 baht. Had a fabulous stay!

Not enough sun beds on the beach think there were about 6 very old ones in total. And as it’s all about the stunning beach location it was a shame. Beach towels it was for us lol.

The location was perfect - a bungalow right on the beach, with sunbeds, hammocks, and very friendly staff. Massage closeby, on the beach and it was quiet to sleep at night but within easy walking distance of nearby restaurants and nightlife. There was an issue with my room and it was resolved immediately. I liked the table outside and the bench inside. The fan was effective. The American breakfast with fresh fruit was good.

The coffee but that didn't affect my stay!

it’s beachside property and loved it. so easy to get into the beach. big resort and ample space to be there. I had opted for the too which has fan, AC can be used by paying 200 Bhat extra if needed. they had big fridge in the room which was quite nice. everyone was humble, they helped me to find cycle and it was amazing. staff is very very courteous.

be prepared for mosquitoes, there is nice seating space outside every room however due to mosquitoes it’s hard to be there. same happens in the evening if you are at restaurants as it’s beach facing.

Has stunning views over the bay of Chaweng, location is good within walking distance to restaurants & bars, The owners, and staff were very friendly and helpful.

In my opinion the housekeeping staff are letting Marine resort down, on check in, the bathroom had not been cleaned after the previous guests and was really dirty, also the fridge looked like it had not been cleaned inside for months, with grime in all compartments.
