I had an AMAZING TIME at Panupong hotel. I had initially planned to spend 2 nights there, but I extended my stay by 2 nights because I felt very confortable there. The hotel is very well located if you want to party and go out (nightclubs about 300m from the room). On the other hand, you have to expect noise all night long (you can hear clubs music until 4-5 am), so I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing stay. For me it wasn't a problem and was even an advantage. The staff are lovely, always smiling and very welcoming. They are available to answer any questions you may have. Rooms are very clean and contains everything you need (AC, fridge, even a balcony). I recommend this establishment 100% and will most probably return for a future stay in Samui.

Little insulation and the AC is a bit noisy, but you get used to it pretty quickly. It clearly didn't ruin my stay. The only negative point was having to leave this place ...

Location was extremely central would recommend for young travelers the staff were so helpful and friendly the property was spotless and the housekeeping staff were on hand to help at all times

Very loud there was a few nights we didn’t go out and the proximity to the clubs and airport made it hard to sleep recommend ear plugs if your a light sleeper

Big room, a lot of toilet tires, clean clothes clean room, close to mall and night life

Unlucky, I was assigned to the room with old air-conditioning. It was crying too loud with Gag Gag Gag sound throughout the night. I cannot sleep with that, so I turn it off and sleep with that hot temperature. No staff at night, I found no one to help fixing it or at least changing the room. I informed staff when check out, they look like the owner or manager not to let anyone staying in this room. For my case, there was no compensation at all.

if you seek easy access to the main bar/restaurant area then this property is perfectly suited. it is within only a few steps to both the entertainment areas and the central festival shopping mall. it’s reasonably comfortable, via stairs to the upper levels, well fitted although the addition of a kettle would be welcome and clean.

parking is either on a very small land section next to the hotel or directly on the road both of which becomes very congested with motorbikes each evening - beware of mysterious damage to your car.

the location is great for people who want to go out partying every night as the hotel is essentially on the main strip. lots of noise but we still slept fine with ear plugs. The breakfast station was included for all guests which was a very nice touch with tea, coffee and biscuits. the room was spacious, lovely and clean and the staff are very tentative :)

the bed was extremely loud, I was more conscious it was keeping other guests awake alongside the music from the bars. Location may be too close to the main strip for some people.

It is right next to the Chaweng street and very cheap for what you get. They clean your room every day, you can rent a scooter and you have everything you need. The room isn't super modern, but you cannot really expect more for that price.

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this hotel isn't for you because you can hear the loud music until 4 am. Lamai beach is the better option then.

Panupong Hotel was great! It’s in a very central location in Chaweng just one minute from Central Samui & close to the nightlife areas as well! Perfect for walking around & also very clean. Staff were incredibly friendly & they also provided drinking water & coffee :) Would recommend if you are looking to stay right in the heart of the bustling Chaweng city vibe for a few nights!

Staff were amazing and so friendly (they helped us & other guests waiting by calling the booking company to make sure the taxi was coming). Unlimited coffee and biscuits in the morning is a bonus! Big room, very clean and they upgraded us to air con for free!

Location is good for partying, however you can hear the music in your room until 4am every night, and everyone drives their motorbike past the accommodation when leaving the clubs. Bring some earplugs lol

The room was huge and perfect — linens, bedding, furniture, bathroom supplies… all perfect. The central location was a very short walk to all of the fun, which was perfect (as long as you don’t mind hearing the music).

We liked everything, so this is a small detail… the room doors lock with a padlock on the outside, which makes it challenging if only one person goes out — the second person needs to be locked inside (there is a window for emergency exit) or wake up to unlatch the door from the inside.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning service. Nearby shops, entertainment, market, restaurants.

Festival atmosphere, because there are many loud nightclubs nearby. It didn't bother us, we even enjoyed it, but it might be disturbing for some.
