I recently had the pleasure of staying at Secret Garden Beach Resort, and I cannot express enough how utterly delightful my experience was. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with warmth and hospitality that truly exceeded all expectations. The staff at Secret Garden are absolute gems. Their dedication to ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued is commendable. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, each member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their genuine smiles and eagerness to assist with any query or request made me feel like a cherished guest rather than just another visitor. Blackie, the hotel's unforgettable dog adopted me and my husband when we were there and he was always with us, accompanying us for breakfast, or to the beach. It was saddening to say goodbye to Blackie as he's such a good boy. Leh, the wonderful hotel's masseuse, has a little corner where she gives massages. Leh's expert hands worked magic, melting away the stresses and strains of everyday life. For sure I'll be back. Thanks!!

What an amazing location! We were lucky enough to stay in Room 1 and were treated to the sound of waves while we slept and awoke. So blissful. The room was really big and well-equipped. The restaurant had lovely themed breakfasts and there was an excellent band playing on the Sunday we were there. Beautiful sunsets. The staff were really helpful and efficient, especially Koko, who gave us great recommendations for restaurants as well. All in all, such a wonderful experience! Thank you. :)

There’s nothing to not like here.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. Explained everything clearly on arrival and made it known happy to help with everything. Very good English from main reception staff member. Booked multiple activities for us making it very easy and happy to answer any of our questions. Room modern and minimal but very clean and comfortable. New water and towels every day. Pool and beach area lovely to use and the restaurant had good food with some nights live music. Lit up very nicely in the evenings.

At night if you didn’t want to stay there, limited shops / restaurants on the main road closest to the hotel. If you travel. But further there are some night markets and busier streets. Could be more facilities for water activities on the beach

The rooms were comfortable and spacious with high ceilings, the planting was beautiful like a real secret garden as you escape the busy road. The pool was great with big bean bag floats, it was paradise. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious fruit, iced lattes and lots of choice from English to Thai. It was everything it hoped and more!

The road is quite busy, which is good if you want to get about by taxi. Once in the resort it’s like the road isn’t there it’s peaceful and quiet.

The resort has everything you could need. Great beachside location. The bar and restaurant is delightful. Food is great and cocktails spot on. The staff are very professional and friendly. There’s live music on Fridays and Sundays and a bit of a party which is fun. But also all finishes at 11pm, so you can still get a good nights sleep. On your doorstep there is great local restaurants, seven eleven, massages.. everything you need is close. We stayed in a pool side deluxe bungalow and loved it. The resort is also quite social so met lots of great like-minded people. We like the secret garden (SG) so much we’ve booked a few more nights, in between traveling around. We’re already thinking about coming back for another trip soon too! Lastly the beds are heaven!

This was a perfect place for a solo beach stop - I loved the room, which was kept beautifully clean, and the team were super-helpful and charming - a lovely touch was to give each guest a waterpistol so they could join in Songkran! Very cute dogs on the property too.

The room was more money than I'd usually chose to spend in this location, but it was so lovely and the team were so nice it made up for it!

Second time we came here during our trip and I'm still in love with this place. Super Friendly staff, fine breakfast and delicious cocktails (try the Samui Dream). They helped with surprising my boyfriend for his birthday and it was fun. Live music is also a must. We closed the bar 3 nights in a row.

I preffered our first stay in the stoned bungalow because it felt more like vacation on the inside but the wooden houses are also fun ad has more seperated rooms to chill. Secret garden is next to a main road but the noise isn't really bothering.

Location is central ie. walking distance to 7-11, O-Mart wine shop, lots of restaurants and other beach bars eg. CHI, Fishermen’s village (5mins by car). Love the minimalist room interior, and the practical in-room amenities eg. storage rack, his & hers built-in wardrobe, firm king-size bed and cozy lighting. The restaurant and beach bar is superb! Simple yet delicious menu and super attentive and friendly staff. Big shout out to Sue and her crew and the cute resident dog; Blackie. Thank you for your warm hospitality and making us feel at home.

Pool was underwhelming due its round shape and size (more like baby wading pool). The rooms are situated close to the main strip which means traffic noise may disrupt sleep for light sleepers.

Cute little garden and we'll styled villas around a pool right by the beach. very comfy bed and great breakfast places within 5 minutes walk.

If you like it to be quiet in the evening, this might not be your place. As much as we like live music, not being able to escape from it since the roof of the villa is made of palm leaves, and also being so close to the airport with flights going from 7am until 11 pm was not the calmest experience.
