Loved our stay at The Brown Hotel. Located near lots of great food places, a 7-Eleven right outside and a very short walk to the river and small mall too. The hotel staff are wonderful especially Fon the receptionist and our housekeeping lady who were both so warm, attentive, smiley, caring and hardworking. The rooms are very clean, comfy beds, great aircon and they even kindly upgraded us to a bigger room so they could upgrade the one we were staying in with a new TV. Their laundry service was very handy too. Wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Krabi town.

Everything was great. We very much enjoyed our stay. As others have pointed out there is no elevator though so if you struggle with stairs just be aware but the staff kindly help with bringing up luggage too.

We stayed for one night at the end of our holiday before making our way to Bangkok from Krabi airport (30 mins by taxi), so for us the location was extremely convenient, as well as right next to the night market and walking distance from the pier. Staff were all helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed the choices available for the pre-order breakfast.

We weren't travelling with children/babies and so the tepee in the room was quite pointless really and took up space right next to the bed. I would've preferred having a bedside table instead and easier access to the light switches.

This was a cute little boutique hotel with only 11 rooms. The room was on the small size but was very comfortable. We had a little balcony and luckily our room was on the first floor as there is no lift. They serve a very nice breakfast if you decide to include it and there are loads of restaurants everywhere nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We were there during the rainy season.

Nothing I liked everything!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Brown Hotel! It was a very cozy, beautiful designed place in Krabi Town - keep in mind that's not Ao Nang an therefore not very touristy and not that much to do in the neighbourhood. However, for us it was ideal for starting our daytrips in the morning and for returning to a spacious, well designed room with an amazing bed to recharge. The staff is also awesome, they're happy to help you with everything, gave us recommendations for restaurants and cute coffee shops and spoke very good English - not a common thing in Thailand. There are also breakfast options and everyday homemade cookies!!

Stayed twice in March (3 nights in 2 deluxe twin rooms then 1 night in family room). Stayed weekdays. Great location near food markets. Very clean, comfortable and quiet despite being on a road with passing traffic. Big rooms and in good condition (both twin and family rooms). Good A/C and facilities in room, including tea, coffee machine, complimentary soft drinks, toiletries. Friendly lady receptionist. Would stay again if returning to Krabi.

Absolutely everything! The location, the comfort, the food and the staff. They honestly went above and beyond at this hotel. Ann, the breakfast lady made little cookies every evening and added them to our breakfast of choice each morning. The room was so cosy with an extemely comfortable bed. Reception staff couldn't have done more to ensure our happiness. We were close to the White Temple, 3 night markets, an amazing fresh fruit smoothie stand and a 20 minute taxi away from Aonang pier. Our tour guides picked us up from our hotel and I highly recommend Getyourguide.com and doing lot's of boat trips whilst in Krabi. Overall We travelled and stayed in hotels in Chiang Mai, Krabi, Koh PhiPhi and Bangkok and this hotel was by far our favourite. Very glad we chose it for our 4 nights in Krabi and will definitely return when we next visit Thailand. Thank you The Brown Hotel!

There's nothing to dislike

I enjoyed very much my stay at The Brown Hotel. Excellent room with lots and lots of lights, very comfortable bed, the balcony has “double panel” sliding windows and did not hear any sound during my 2 day stay. Receptionist “Fon” is fabulous, my trip to Krabi town and surroundings would not been the same without her advice. She was always willingly ready to give suggestions about where to go and she speaks perfect English. The location of the hotel is great close to fruit market, night market, restaurants and a 711.

Wow! What a fantastic place, The Brown Hotel. The room is huge, with so much love and attention to every detail, generously outfitted with every amenity you could want. The staff at the front desk are so kind and friendly. The night market is a few steps away. We will definitely be back, and on our next visit to Krabi, and stay a few nights. Note: This is not a negative, but should be noted that the building has no elevator. The staff graciously carried our luggage upstairs, because we could not manage it. I felt bad about all the extra physical work! When we departed, before you knew it, our luggage was back down again! Very, very nice people.

Good location: close proximity to the night market, restaurants, a department store, and a beautiful temple. Cute and clean room: the interior is cosy and warm, and the room is clean. The toiletries are provided with generosity. Good hospitality: The receptionists are very accommodating and friendly. The chef making breakfast for us provided a really good homemade foods and drinks, and have a good service mind.

The property doesn’t have an elevator. They did try to have one but due to restriction on the building itself, it was impossible. Would be nice to have some indicator/mark on the small step in the bathroom (between the shower area and the dry area) to reduce the risk of tripping.
