The staff were excellent, especially at reception. The room was nice and big with a large closet, lots of drawers for all our clothes. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were lots of plug-ins for our electronics. It had a large fridge and freezer and beautiful deck with Mountain View and Big Buddha in the distance. Complimentary breakfast was very simple, but good. The pool was small but clean and great location with afternoon shade and bean bag chairs. The room has a divider wall between couch and bedroom that the TV is mounted on. It swivels so you can watch TV from the couch or from the bed. Hotel is close to restaurants, Old Town, bars, shopping, Sunday walking Street at 5pm, etc. This was the nicest hotel we have stayed in on this trip to Thailand. We have been traveling to different cities here for the last two months. We are traveling to two other destinations in Thailand now but booked Cool Destination again before we head to Vietnam. We highly recommend Cool Destination. The only downside was the couch. It was not very comfortable as the back is really low and the seats are very long depth wise. We both got back ache's after a short period of time. Looking forward to going back to great staff, beautiful room and pool in a few more days.

A more comfortable couch or even 2 comfortable chairs. Everything else was excellent.

Great staff, reception team couldn't do enough for us. Room was the size of a small village, with a separate sitting area. Great as well to learn that there was a complimentary breakfast, cereals and toast. Good wifi for video calling/TEAMS meetings.

The balcony with a sink wasn't clean at all, very different situation compared to the room, which was spotless. The hotel is a 20-minute walk into the old town, so not too far, but in the hot seasons it feels like a long way!

Really large room with a balcony and view of the city and the sunset. Everything was so clean and neat. Staff was increadibly friendly and helpful, and they also let us borrow some umbrellas from the hotel when it rained. The location was also very good with supermarkets, laundry and pharmacy nearby and only a short walk to restaurants and bars in old town. We definitely recommend it!!

There is nothing wrong with the place!!!

The location was excellent for me, far enough away from the hustle and bustle that I could have a good night's sleep but not too far if I wanted excitement. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch.

Pool is a bit small

The room was apartment style with bunk beds and a separate king bedroom. Plenty of space with a kitchenette. The staff were amazing and ended up helping us through my husband’s medical emergency with compassion. Felt safe here with the children. Also they cooked the meals and it had a comforting feeling.

Air conditioning could have worked a bit better but did the job.

The room was, quiet, clean and spacious. It had a breakfast bonus. We used the pool too which was cool. The staff was helpful too.

The hotel is a bit far from down town, about 20 minutes walk.

The residence is always very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely laid out plus there’s a beautiful pool which is also very clean.

The only thing I found a little hard was there was only 1 or 2 English channels. So the nights we wanted to stay in there wasn’t anything to watch.

We loved the stay at Cool Residence, the place was really nice and spacious, the staff was super nice and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

When the AC was on (with the heat outside it was not possible to have the AC off) it was blowing on the beds and it wasn’t comfortable

Location value for money and a complimentary breakfast was a bonus. Staff very friendly and helped with taxi and information regarding the town.

Hard bed

The staff were amazing! A photos a bit deceiving but very clean and spacious. Didn’t realize how far it eas from the beach so we moved but ended up regretting that!

Super hard bed and uncomfortable pillows. I slept with my travel pillow instead.
