This hotel was on my bucket list for years and finally had the opportunity to visit and it did not disappoint in the slightiest, the photos match reality Amazing for a two night stay, we enjoied the view in the pool, the breakfast was good, the staff were amazing and helpful

lack of privacy, villas are close to each other, we could see the people inside their villa , i wish if they planted trees in between villas or offer partition or any kind cover (note: i knew the pools were not covered but didnt expect the villas as well)

Where do we start with Keemala? Just WOW. The most stunning, magical, beautiful place. We came for 4 nights and stayed in a clay cottage. First off the welcome, from the guys on security, to the guys that help with bags and drive you around on golf carts, to the beautiful girls at reception everything is 5 star, so welcoming, so helpful and not over the top. instant luxury and attention to detail. the grounds are stunning, you instantly feel like you’re in the tree tops in a forest. clay cottage is unreal, own pool, surrounded by greenery, smells of jasmine. bathroom is gorgeous, outside shower, inside shower with incredible pressure. girls, the products, think Cowshed vibes, they feel expensive and smell incredible. every night the turndown service delivers something special to your room, candied fruits, some savoury Thai delight, something baked… Then there’s the food….as a foodie myself, this was the best, the food menu, the drinks menu, cocktails, everything is curated so well and perfectly, never your standard cocktail list, amazing unique cocktails. Thai food is insane. breakfast is insane, get it included, you can have it in the dining room, or in your room, no extra charge. the pool area is stunning swim up bar, lovely staff, comfortable beds, towels, gorgeous x I could go on! Download Grab, (Uber) to get taxis in an out, as due to the height of the hill getting into the resort is not that easy to walk out into Kamala beach. this isn’t a big deal at all, we did it most days to explore the beaches and if you can afford to stay here you can afford to spend £10 on Grabs to the beaches. would highly recommend Bang Tao Beach, Surin Beach for sunset especially. Honestly I could carry on, just unreal place. we didn’t want to leave and are already thinking about coming back. If this is in budget; just BOOK IT

So, we loved it, gym had a good set up but small, bike, treadmill, and a few weight machines. So don’t come if you want to continue with an extensive training regime. The pool. Stunning, not very many beds, and the beds that are there only get the sun until 2ish before the sun moves behind trees. If they clipped the trees more often it would be better for people that want to tan. we were in 106 and the pool was gorgeous but if the trees were clipped back to open the space more the pool would have been much more in the sun. as it was it was pretty much shaded all day.

I have been to a lot of exotics hotel’s in the world, this hotel broke the record for the Best one ever! 1. The stuff is wiling to do everything to make your stay like in heaven. 2. The vila is decorated to perfection. 3. The food is SO Good and gluten free friendly, my wife felt so comfortable to eat! 4. The spa was WOW. 5. I wish had more days there.

We loved everything! We stayed in a treehouse villa which was incredible, amazing jungle views, super comfy beds and lots of thoughtful details, outdoor shower, nice shampoo, conditioner and body cream, huge bath, separate dining area downstairs. Little snacks bought for you each afternoon to try and fresh fruit left in your room daily. The food (and cocktails!) were delicious, we stayed for 6 nights and there were still more dishes on the menu we didn’t get to try - everything we did eat was exceptional. Great gym, spa treatments were fantastic. But mostly, the staff make your stay beyond special, our villa host, Lift was incredibly helpful, attentive and thoughtful, we were travelling with our 5 month old daughter and helped us source baby supplies and coordinated an on-site baby sitter with a lovely lady who worked at Keemala so we could leave her to sleep whilst having dinner at the restaurant. He helped us with everything and was a brilliant host and preempted what we’d need each day so a big thank you to Lift and a big thank you to all the other staff! They were so sweet with our daughter and made us feel very welcome and at home, a very special trip and we will be back.

not all rooms has a view and privacy. our arrival experience wasn’t great. the Design of the restaurant is outdated. they don’t really have a story behind the hotel idea. food was good, but not exceptional. just in general you expect more from this type of places

This hotel is magical. The hotel is surrounded by lush jungle, the rooms are nestled in the trees and feel private and luxurious. The bedrooms were beautiful, spacious and full of amenities. The service made our stay extra special. Every day housekeeping left small treats in the room, and the second turn down service was very cosy to return to in the evening. It was also useful to be able to contact a staff member on WhatsApp (Tony!) to arrange various activities and to ask questions. The spa is excellent, the restaurant food was fresh and delicious. I cannot fault Keemala, we would love to return one day.

For all new Keemala resort visitors, after you read my comments I’m sure you will ignore other bad comments. This resort really exceed my expectations, it’s Wow resort. When I arrived, they welcome me with Jasmine flowers, drinks and desserts in banana leaves. I booked two different villas and they upgraded one villa as this is my first time in Thailand. I didn’t also excepted to see a welcoming note on my bed, the staff were so kind and they showed me all the details in my room. Not only that, in the afternoon, they provided each room with everyday desserts. The second day I saw a wishing card on my bed 😍🥰👌. The tent villa was so beautiful, it has the most amazing view.. I love how the resort care about each small details.. the mosquito oil, the bath salt, the activities sheet .. etc. My bird nest villa was surrounded with banana trees, i love how the resort care about the nature, the friendly Gecko. I felt like am in a real forest. The resort has so many variety food.. Thai, Indian, vegetarian and halal food. The magical forest afternoontea was so good. Thank you so much Keemala for my wonderful stay. I will never forget it
