The Patong Mansion is very nice hotel for a adequate price. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped us with reservation of trips and transport. They were trying their best to communicate, mostly speaking English well. We could ask anytime if any problem occur - the WiFi wasn't working one day, we told about that to staff and they fixed it immediately. Breakfast was also good, everyday there were some different dishes, both continental and thai cuisine, , everything was fresh and tasty. Good cleaning of the room every day. We felt safe and under good care. Rooftop pool was excellent, it was really nice to spend there evenings after long day trips. Oh and the Doorman Iguana was a great member of the staff!

Only one thing that was not excellent in our opinion was the aircondition. The AC in our room was quite old and because of that, it wasn't really strong - even after an hour of cooling, it was still quite hot in a room. It would be good to invest in a new AC in the future. Also there was sewer smell in the bathroom but that's really common on Phuket so it's not really something that hotel can do much about.

The room was nice + very helpful stuff at the reception. The bed was super comfortable and huge. I overall enjoyed my stay, just the swimming pool seemed much bigger in pictures. The location is more party-ish (but felt safe to me), so if you're looking for calm and relax I would recommend to choose somewhere else. The beach is in walking distance (15-20 mins), you can also reach main street with a lot of restaurants and street food. There is also night market where you can eat plenty of fish and sea food for reasonable price.

Probably one of the best price vs quality deals in Phuket. I stayed for 10 days and was initially afraid that my room next to the elevator would be problematic (people going up and down), but that was not the case. Each floor has only 5 rooms, so that limits the number of times people are coming in or going out of their rooms. Not much noise from the street either. The room was in the 6th floor and was pretty big, had a decent view and a super large comfy bed. Aircon was perfectly located and working fine. The bathroom was OK, hot and cold water also working fine. The rooftop pool with a view to the city and the hills is a gem. The staff was always super friendly. Don't forget to pet the iguana at the ground floor! I didn't try the breakfast as I was on a training holiday with a specific diet.

Maybe the fact that there weren't many interesting TV channels, but I don't watch that much TV anyway.

It's a great hotel! Everything is clean, the rooms are beautiful and well maintained, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the pool at the rooftop has a beautiful view and the hotel is 5 minutes from the beach by moped. The hotel has everything you need to enjoy Phuket. Motor bike rental for a good price, massages for a good price, day trip connections and staff that can recommend the best places to visit in and around Phuket. The owner is very connected to the guests, you'll feel at home. If you visit Phuket, go to this hotel and trust all the positive reviews. It's 100% worth it!

Staff were excellent, down a bit of a shabby back street but location great 15 minute walk to beach and madness of Bangla but nowhere near enough to get any noise or disturbance.. Breakfast limited, mainly due to limited space but what there was was great... rooftop pool great cooling off after a hot day but no shelter from the sun up there.

Our room was very close to neighbouring buildings/apartments so couldn't sit comfortably on balcony or even have our curtains open .

Breakfast was great and the view from the pool was exceptional. The hotel and our room was always clean. We were supplied with clean towels and bottled water daily. The staff was always able to assist with all the questions and queries we had.

At first the location of the hotel seemed a little bit suspicious/distant from town, but by the second or third day we did not even notice it anymore.

Great staff, Great communication! And they're always available for questions. The hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean and is centrally located. Patong Beach is about a 30 minute walk and there's lots of food, shops, and a 7 eleven around the corner. The rooftop pool mountain view is beautiful and the pool is kept quite clean in spite of the pigeons. The mountain views from the balcony is also a nice bonus.

Perhaps better breakfast selections; pancakes, eggs, toast, etc.

The staff were simply sensational. Made the trip so much better. Incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Phuket but not wanting to overspend on accomdation.

i would have liked the free breakfast! but the staff were really cool and gave me fruit & food for free occassionally (not sure if that was supposed to happen) but they were great

Everything except...

The neighbours who were noisy sometimes. Same about the housekeeping service, some days I wanted to oversleep and even I put the " do not disturb" sign they were not quiet. They were listening to music, laughing,... but yeah It's quite often like this in Thailand I've noticed. And just one other thing is every day after my room was cleaned there were still hair on the floor.
