My wife and I have been lucky enough to have multiple stays at The Memory at On-On, and it's always a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and charming, and located in the absolutely gorgeous Old Town. While everyone raves about the beaches of Phuket, Old Town is so, so worth a visit. While there isn't a full restaurant in the hotel, there are so many excellent places to eat within walking distance, and the fabulous Sunday night market is right outside the door. The cafe in the hotel serves drinks and small, delicious snacks, and is a wonderful place for people-watching. The beds are enormous and incredibly comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the historic building itself is just glorious. I can't recommend it more!

Fantastically decorated - its beautiful. We really enjoyed our room with the small terrace/balcony. The room and surrounding hotel were great. The location was also perfect for what we wanted. Staff helped to book tacit to the airport.

Room not ready at 2pm - short wait. Old building so you need to accept that there will be no lift for bags and you will hear creaking floorboards above.

The history and ambience of this beautifully presented quaint hotel is so appealing and it’s location in the heart of the old town can’t be beaten plus its little cafe serves great coffee.

The hotel doesn’t have any additional facilities such as a pool, gym or restaurant. but you are aware of that when you book. But it is surrounded by cafes, ice creameries and numerous restaurants and spas.

Beautifully restored heritage hotel in the centre of Phuket Old Town. Rooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. Staff were excellent, and there were shower facilities you could use after check out, which was really helpful given the extreme heat when we visited. No breakfast provided but there is a cute little cafe next door, where you can grab a coffee.

Rooms weren’t particularly sound proof which is to be expected in an older hotel but we were lucky and didn’t hear too much noise from outside. Also there was no hot water in the morning. We only stayed one night and had to leave early so this didn’t really impact us but might have been an issue for a longer stay.

Beautiful period hotel in an authentic Sino Portuguese style building. Lots of unique features. Everything you need and even some free soft drinks in the mini bar…very unusual these days. The hotel is situated in the heart of Phuket town so all the major sites are in easy walking distance. There’s a lovely drinks/light snacks station for guests in the foyer. Very quiet location.

There is no parking on site. They have a reserved parking area which is a short walk away. On road parking Phuket town can be tricky although we did manage to find a space.

The hotel's central location places it near numerous attractions. Upon our arrival on a Sunday, we were pleasantly surprised to find a section of the Sunday night market right at the hotel's doorstep. The hotel's exudes cleanliness and boasts tasteful decorations, creating a warm and homely ambiance. Complimentary refreshments were greatly appreciated. The staff displayed exceptional hospitality, offering valuable insights into the local eateries around the hotel.

An elevator would be appreciated for senior travelers like us with heavy luggage. Although our rooms were just one level above us, lugging heavy suitcases, no matter the size, may not be helpful to bad backs. Having mentioned this, the staff obliged us by carrying our bags up the stairs with willing smiles.

Where to start! This is probably the most beautiful hotel we ever stayed in! The colonial architecture and decor was a treat for the eyes, the objects and furniture used in the design take you back in time, ! Every corner of this hotel is a picture, definitely an Instagram fan paradise! We loved the atmosphere, the cosiness of the room and the kindness of the staff, although who knows Thailand kindness is a feature of its population! The value is excellent, we couldn't believe to find ourselves in a real gem for the price we paid! Right in the middle of the old town of phuket, which we loved! I really recommend it!

They don't serve breakfast, and the bar doesn't offer many options, not a huge problem, though, as the area around offers plenty amount of coffee shops!

Great location in the heart of old town, the hotel offers comfortable stylish rooms for a perfect stay in phuket city. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. WiFi service and showers are awesome! And don’t miss the coffee shop which serves really tasty hot drinks.

The first room was just on the first floor landing and as a result quite noisy with guests coming back late. Staff were super quick to move me to a quieter room so I could enjoy peaceful nights

The architecture was amazing. It reflects the authenticity and heritage of Phuket Old Town. The hotel was exactly as it is in the pictures and the advertisements. I enjoyed staying there, but was disappointed by the lack of breakfast options and the cleanliness. The menu of the restaurant was limited to two or three basic options. The cleanliness however, did not match the hype around this hotel. The toilets in the rooms could be better. The hotel is in the center of the town and is close to restaurants, bars, exchange places, and shops.

Amazing location, right in the heart of old town Phuket! Beautiful building, very nice room and facilities, and very comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The day we checked out, we had a flight at midnight and they stored our luggage all day while we went on a tour of James Bond island. When we came to claim our luggage in the evening they informed us they had showers we could use before heading to the airport. This was truly amazing!

The door to our room was not very sound proof. The hotel wasn’t overly noisy, but we would hear people in the hallway occasionally. We’re used to sleeping with earplugs, so wasn’t too bad.
