Location just adjacent to Hua Lampong station which can be easily reached by MRT.

Noise from the street was too loud and woke me up early. The bed was a little too hard for my taste.

I choose it because it was close to the railway station. It is a small family business and it had that good feel. It is also very close to MRT and Silom is two stops away. Wifi worked well.

I liked it overall. But given its small size with only 6 rooms you will not find all services as in bigger places. Check- in times are quite strict as only one staff clears the room and it is more or less closed between checkout hours and check-in hours. Be aware also that the stairs up to the rooms are quite steep and may be challenging for elderly or disabled persons.

The hotel is run by exceptionally nice and helpful folks, who make you feel comfortable and at home immediately. One of the best dining areas of Bangkok around Banthat Thong Rd. is easily reachable by foot. The Bangkok Art and Culture Center, the MBK and other places of interest are also reachable by foot with not too much effort. There is a small garden to hang out.

Two big streets around might be too urban for some people, we did not mind, though.

This stay was immaculate, the host was so flexible and helpful while I was transferring hotels and meeting friends, scheduling taxis, holding my bags and adjusting check in without any issue. The room was beautiful and made me feel so high end and comfortable while still traveling on a budget, loved waking up to the sunrise through floor to ceiling windows each morning with a book and cup of coffee in bed. 3 minute walk to China Town and less than a minute from the train station so great location to have easy access to night life and explore the city a bit, there is a beautiful coffee shop with an ice cream parlor just across the canal. (Highly recommend getting a bike in Bang Krachao for a day trip to the weekend floating market too)

Really comfortable, modern and homely. The rooms are well decorated and the beds very comfortable. I had a lovely view of the city skyline, banana trees and street below. The hotel feels very safe and is surprisingly quiet at night. The location is fantastic, right next to Hua Lamphong where you can get the MRT to most of the major sights in Bangkok. The cafe downstairs does good food and there are tasty vegetarian options. The lady on the desk is lovely and very helpful.

There is no lift, and the stairs don't feel very safe. They are quite narrow and slippery, without a handrail and there is an open drop at one point without any kind of fencing or barrier. It feels very unsafe when you are trying to manoeuvre a suitcase up and down the stairs.

Everything. The hosts are a wonderful family who took very good care to ensure we were comfortable and having fun. They also run a nice cafe across the street that serves excellent food and hospitality. There is a lot to see and explore in the surrounding area. It is also very convenient for accessing the Bangkok Station.

We liked everything about our experience! It might help some potential guests to know that the rooms are accessed by a steep stairway. The hosts will help with your bags but you must be able to get yourself up and down the stairs.

The staff were exceptionally nice. The food from cafe 511 was delicious and cheap. They kept our luggage for the day after check out and gave us an umbrella for the rain. The decor was so clean and modern. Great shower. Fridge. And even a small hairdryer. For the price it was just great and perfect for a train connection.

Nothing! Cannot rate highly enough. If you are going to check in after 8pm tell them in advance as the check in is through the cafe which will be closed at 8. The WiFi in the top room. Was not great but even in the stairs it was fine so no problem.

I like the overall vibe and interior design. The entire premise is very clean and serene. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They also have a cat that look after the premise at night.

The room I got is facing the sun in the afternoon so it gets really hot during that time. The room shakes a little bit (it's safe) and it spooked me while I was watching horror film.

This is a small guesthouse comprising six rooms adjacent to the old Central Bangkok Railway Station. The building is a three storey layout, with guest rooms overlying a small ground floor with integrated reception/bar/coffee shop. The owner/manager also operates the nearby excellent bistro 'Cafe511' and guests have the option of either walking 200m to the bistro or ordering takeaway. This little hotel/guesthouse is generally a quiet (although roosters provide a free alarm) and peaceful place with offers personal attention and a relaxing atmosphere. The hospitality is genuine here. The staff really do go out of their way to accommodate their guests. Rooms are of adequate standard, WiFi signal is strong.

At the time of writing the tariff per night was about $30 AUD. In relation to some of the competition in the area I feel this is a little on the high side. For example by direct comparison, the Quarter Hualaphong was only $5 per night higher and this offers free self serve breakfast, pool and gym. But since this is a much larger enterprise that can afford to pay for an army of reception staff and cleaners and absorb the costs, the comparison is unfair and is like comparing apples with oranges.
