do not book a cab that hotel would suggest you for the airport. we were told 470 TL and we were charged 530 by the cab driver saying additional for the taxes with no tax receipt. and the taxi driver had his own hustle going on where he made random stops on the way to drop off and pick up some stuff and didn’t care that we had flight to catch. on the top, he had 3 phones that he was constantly talking on only making us worried for our safety.

The location of the property is good. Easy to reach the main attractions in Istanbul.

I was quite disappointed by the quality of the food they served for breakfast. Also I’d like to note that there were gnats flying over the food area in the Club Lounge and the staff servicing lounge were very slow to clean up lounge after the visitors

As I was a guest and I needed a glass of water, I went to the bar and asked for a glass of water but they refused and said I had to pay for it … that was terrible on your part .

Crowne Plaza has maintained its cleanliness to the extreme level. Every single time we were in the room, we were welcomed with clean pair of shoes, towels, and other amenities. At the same time, all the people involved in the team of Crowne Plaza were really hospitable. They took great care of us and I believe this is what makes the hotel exceptional.

The location of the property is the most highlight point because everything was walking distance from the hotel. The entire decoration of the hotel was really welcoming and properly suited along with the traditional outlook of Türkiye. Special kudos to the chef and his team who served scrumptious delicacies every morning and it was a perfect way to start our day.

we got upgraded to club room on arrival. during check in they found that my kids ( 5yr and infant) were with us so they arranged a cot and crib for us. we arrived at 10am and even though standard check in time is 2pm they made my room ready at 11am. The hotel, its location, facilities, courtesy of every single employee, their commitment to helping guests, the way they greeted us every single time made us feel special. i will definitely stay here next time and i will definitely recommend this hotel to others. Tram was literally 2mins from property, bus and metro stations were 10mins walk. you can even walk to grand bazaar form here. all necessary things were available at immediate vicinity, i guess that's big benefit of this location.

The bf spread could have been little more better, i am not saying its bad but they could have added few more items. There were no proper accessories in bathroom like detal kit was missing etc.. nothing really to complain about !!!

Great location especially since it was snowing we could still go out as plenty to do close to the hotel.

It is outrageous that they charge you to remove the mini-bar from the room. it is only a small amount but on principle very disappointing.

When we entered the hall of the hotel was beautifully decorated for the New Year. It was clear that a lot of effort had been spent on making New Year's Eve an unforgettable event. The magnificent architectural appearance of the hotel is impressive. I liked delicious varied breakfasts. excellent coffee and friendliness of the staff. WIFI worked well. I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff!

-Of the disadvantages of the hotel, I would like to note the tiny bathroom, in which it is impossible to turn around. The bathroom door opened inward, so it was absolutely impossible for even one person to squeeze inside. -There is only a shower in the bathroom, and the shower floor is tiled. It is absolutely unsafe, and if you step on the floor with your bare feet, you will have a risk to get fungal diseases, that are DIFFICULT to TREAT. - The towels are old and there were holes in them. -Terrible century-old carpet, it clearly needs to be replaced. -It was very dark ( dim light) in the bathroom -Most of the TV channels were not working.

The spacious rooms. Nasim (guest relations) was very helpful in trying to arrange a tour for us. He also was helpful in arranging for a doctor to visit me in my room when l was unwell (the doctor was kind but his assistant was very awkward and pressurising me into a treatment which he was not explaining to me, also he was very quick to ask for payment and became agitated when l started asking questions). Nasim kindly checked on my wellbeing during our stay. Staff in general were pleasant.

Dust was accumulating in the bathroom and we both would be coughing due to this when in the hotel. There was no creamer sachets in our room tray - l had to ask for these - and they weren't regularly topped when refreshing our room. The complimentary biscuits weren't replaced each day either. Our room was meant to be sound proof but, due to the location of the room, we got quite disturbed with all the noise in the courtyard with people arriving and leaving. Also, one night someone brought soap up to my room and was being awkward when l said l hadn't asked for it - it was sent to the wrong room.

Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. Great choice of Eggs to order, some Turkish specialties, cheeses, smoked salmon, salads, yogurts and sweet pastries etc. the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, the chefs I encountered were also very helpful. Reception staff Elif, Erol and Hoce Ahmet and the Guest Relations staff Fatima and her 2 colleagues were super helpful! The location was excellent, short walks to the Grand Bazaar, Tram, shops etc. top marks for convenient location.

Stayed once in Tower 1 and once in tower 4. Room 4220 in tower 4 was rather small for 2 people with 2 large suitcases and 2 carry one! Too much furniture which we managed to send away to make space!

Location was excellent, I walked everywhere I went. The motel has a great spa and wellness centre on the lower level also. Very friendly housekeeping staff

My shower leaked water onto my carpet in the main room, which wasn’t major though it smelt a little, but I just opened the windows while I was out to clear it. A shop owner in the foyer of the motel all but trapped me in his shop trying to force me to buy things then tried to take me out for a ‘2 minute walk’ to his shop which I ended up having to forcefully say no to
