Nice and clean hotel. The terrace next to the kitchen had a nice view, breakfast buffet had everything you would need. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in the middle of the neighbourhood on very crowded streets but we did not feel unsafe, everybody minded their own business. :) It was great to have everything around us: markets, restaurants, pubs, clothing stores, pharmacy.

The only bad thing was that there was a smell coming from the toilet, probably from the drainage. But we had the windows open.

Good location with easy access to everything in Kadikoy. Great breakfast, fresh bread daily with cheeses, meats, salads, jams and spreads, cereals and boiled eggs. Coffee and turkish tea, juice and milk. Access to the breakfast room to bring your own takeaway meals for lunch/dinner if required. Comfy bed and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

Limited English spoken by staff however they did use translation apps when needed. The surrounding area is noisy, people, traffic (11pm to 10am) and a mosque very close by, the windows are badly fitted and not sound proof. There was a drain odour in the bathroom that seemed to come and go.

The hotel is located in a convenient location. It was quiet in the morning and the sounds of prayer did not wake us up. The street where the hotel is located is quiet. The room had nice interior. Breakfast was classic Turkish.

There were no slippers in the room, which was inconvenient because the bathroom floors were cold. The room was cleaned, but only 4/5, because the shower cabin was not fresh, there were food crumbs in the pull-out shelf on the work desk. This was not critical for us, but keep it in mind.

We had such a nice stay with the Loka Suites people. The staff were all very nice and friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean and AirCo was great considering the 30+ weather. Super nicely situated, very close to the ferries that take you to the European side and the islands.

The only reasons that I do it give 10/10 is 1: the ad says soundproof rooms. The rooms are in no way sound proof. We could hear not only the Mosque outside (which we were honestly expecting knowing that the first call to prayer is at 5am) but also all the people in the hall/going to and having breakfast. And 2: there are skylights in the top rooms. If you are not someone who wakes up (and appreciates it) with the sun, ask for a room lower down. The skylights do not have covers. This combined with the call to prayer and the breakfast set up and duration made for some early mornings

The unique experience of a beautiful and clean bed and breakfast.

The mattress was worn out which affected sleep. And communication with the owners was a challenge as they could not speak English, except for one who we met once. There is no designated parking or waiting area for cars as the hotel is located in a no-car street. On arrival, our driver could not find the hotel, so we ended up walking around with our luggage on a hilly, stone street. There is no porter or lifts so one has to be prepared to do some lifting up the stairs.

We stayed here in July for 3 nights with 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 2. In the Deluxe Suite Room 203. The room was clean and charming, and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. The pros are that this place is so close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, the ferry station, etc. so you can get so much access to what you plan to do with ease. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace had great views, and breakfast it's self was simple and delicious. The cons are if you have a family with young children are the stairs, there is a decent gap on the railing so you would have to be careful with them going up and down, the noise at night due to the night-life (didn't bother us as we were expecting it) and a cockroach that joined our family holiday (it is expected as its an old building). I would still recommend this place to everyone, but next time, I probably won't bring the children to fully immerse myself into the night-life scene this place has to offer. Thank you for our stay!

The hotel was exceptional. The location was excellent. We were close to everything we needed (transportation, restaurants, etc.) but it was still quieter than I have expected. The rooms were clean, comfy and easy to heat. Breakfast was served every day on the top floor, where we could enjoy the view of the city. Also, the food served was good quality. The owners and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was not much to not like. The ladies who run the place are doing a great job. Maybe a hanger can be put at the entrances of the rooms for coats/jackets, and I can't think of anything else.

The room space was just fine for our family with 2 children. Especially appreciated - the cleanness of the room - the nice view from the breakfast room - the location in the heart of Kadikoy ... even so without problematic noise from the street - proximity to Kadikoy ferry - .... and very friendly host.

The breakfast food selection could be wider, especially more choice on sweet bread or cakes. No elevator then need to carry luggages to the 2nd floor by stairs. Time to time utilities disruption (electricity, wifi, hot water)
