It was close to everything we wanted to visit and to see The receptionist (Siliman) was very helpful and kind to us and everyone He especially speaks different languages including English and Arabic I recommend it for people who want an economic place to sleep at the end of the day. Also a place close to many tourist attractions in Istanbul

Some of the towels are not clean and have stains They should provide more clean towels, pillows, blankets and bed covers

The accommodation was superbly located, staff were friendly and helpful, and I had everything I needed for the night. I could not have asked for a better place. Checking in and out was no issue at all and the online payment easy and convenient. The hotel even includes a roof terrace which guests are free to make use of, with a lovely view of the Bosphorus. In terms of price to quality/satisfaction ratio combined with location, I doubt you can find anything better than this. The room was simple but with all the necessary amenities, and clean. I will assuredly be staying here again!

Very good, staff, excellent service. Staff was very Co operative. Whenever we ask for anything they help us more then our expectations. Location was great close to all good restaurants and also walking distance to Topkapi Museum, Blue mosque, Aya Sofia these places are 25 Minute walk from hotel and also you will find a big market leading to Grand Bazaar, on the way if you want to shop something as sovenier this market you will find everything on wholesale rate.

There was nothing which I didn't like

The location was really good. About 20-25 minutes walk to Galata Tower, Grand Bazar. About the same for Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The guy at the front desk was really helpful as well. The hotel is inside a small bazar, so you can get some local souvenirs as well. I bought some Turkish delights and Baklawa from here.

The bathroom facilities were not the best. There was a hand shower and it didn't have a stand. The sink was a bit too small. When you wash your face, your feet are bound to get wet.

The location is very good. Local public transportation is nearby (buses and metro). The staff is very helpful and friendly especially Mohammed who is extremely polite. Room was being cleaned and new towels and bed sheets were being replaced every day. Very good air conditioning but they need to clean the filters of air conditioners.

Noise is the only problem. Hotel visitors need to care about others who are sleeping in the middle of the night.There were dogs barking outside side just below our room window. The hotel personnel might think of providing the property with sound isolation room doors and windows, in such case it would be 100% perfect.

The property was simple but as travellers that is all we needed. En suite bathroom, tv and mini fridge meant it was easy to self contain and be comfortable. Suleyman was incredibly helpful to us, with recommendations on places to eat and even helped us book a transfer back to the airport while looking after our suitcases after checkout. we already miss our home in Turkey. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Marpalace! The friendly staff and neighbourhood really made our stay enjoyable for our family. Marpalace is located in a short walk to spice bazar, the river and near a lot of eateries, shops, groceries and close to sights. The local street gives you a good taste of the local Turkish culture, locals selling their goods, drinking tea and doing life. We enjoyed utilising the roof top for sunset afternoons and watching the hustle and bustle happen below whilst soaking in views of the city. What really made our trip memorable was the beautiful people. The staff at M.P as well as at the restaurant below made us feel so welcome and also filled our bellies. We were travelling with children which made the experience so memorable. our daughter (3) was addressed as princess your entire stay and the kindest and generosity we were shown not just from the hotel and restaurant staff but also the public really does remind you that Santa does originate from Turkey. Even though we are in a new country our hearts are still sad we had to leave Turkey after such a wonderful experience. Thank you, Salaman, Mohammad and Mohammad from the shop and 3 beautiful men at the shop! We are so grateful to you all. We really experienced the most beautiful kind people you made our stay100% special. The hotel was worth the experience ! thank you!

Everything was good. I really recommend this hotel. Amazing quality at this price. The staff and the owner were really polite and kind. Everything was cleaned everyday. Very good internet connection. Hot water all day and night long. Good location in the middle of turist attraction. ***the location is near to true cheapest bazar. ***very cheap neighbourhood. Parking was very good, 3 min walk feom hotel - 3 euro/day.

Everything is very good about the hotel, the only bag thing is that the neighbourhood(2-3 streets) are poor and scary.

First of all, i want to send my kind regards to the people who did the best to feel like home, at Marpalace Hotel, Süleyman, Muhammed and mr. Hikmet. They gave us any information we needed, any help we needed and other things with no extra cost. Despite the old and historical neigborhood of Kücükpazar, the hotel is the best option and great value for the money spent here. Because of the kind people who works here, we will be returning for the next holiday, forget about Sultanahmet area if you want to feel the real life of the real turkish people. The hotel is just above of a splendid pastry shop, Öz Hamur with so delicious turkish cheese & meat traditional pastry, pide, and poğaça. The area is full of hisrorical köfte shops, sweet shops, bakeries, lokantas, a A101 supermarket, and other small markets. The hotel has a spatious terrace, with a splendid view of Galata Tower, Haliç Metro Bridge, Valens Aqueduct and Suleymaniye Camii. The room 304 has a also splendid view of Galata Tower, Haliç Metro Bridge, an the old houses of Küçükpazar. The room is equipped with AC, TV, a small fridge, wardrobe and small cabinet with drawers. There is a strong wifi, CCTV, every day cleaning and towel changing, loundry at request, and travel companies if you want to visit more areas around Istanbul. The neigborhood was safe, no problem at all even in the evening, close to the bus station, metro station, ATM and Istanbulkart money loading machines. In the near future, the city municipality is planning to open the Küçükpazar tram station to Eyup and more destinations., but now the closest tram station is at Cibali. If you are open to explore a real turkish neigborhood, come at Marpalace Hotel, Küçükpazar.

Tourist rude and disrespectful behaviour at checking-in late in the night, slammed doors, loud voices and loughts from the terrace at 1 or 2 AM. I am kindly advise the hotel staff to warn the tourists to keep the silance after 10 PM, and no slammed doors at night. We deserves a good sleep!

the best thing is the location as it’s 10 minutes walking to Eminono mydan so if you are going to import from turkey you will be in the best location and lowest price staff were helpful and kind specially Soliman

they have a very small room on the roof top was very small and I don’t recommend it for anyone taller than 1.7 m I would like to thank Soliman for helping me to change it
