The location and price were beyond exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for dinner and helping carry my luggage up the curved stairs. The room was clean and very cute, even providing a wall of succulents outside the window that opened to the tiny courtyard fire escape.

The shower did not have very good pressure and the shower lever was broken, so I had to hold the handheld to wash my hair. Also, they took my breakfast order when I checked in because I had to checkout at 3am to get to the airport. They told me it would be prepared and packaged to-go. When I checked out, they acted like I hadn't ordered anything and it would take 10 minutes to prepare, but I needed to leave for the airport and my driver was already there. I also had to pay for the driver in cash and that was not stated ahead of time. They told me I would pay the hotel, so I expected to pay with my card.

Hotel is just few steps from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also breakfast were very tasty. I would definitely recommend this hotel while visiting Istanbul. P.S. Last year we had to visit Istanbul, but our kids got sick and we couldnt go. Our reservation at that time was without free cancellation and cancelation fee was upon decision of hotel. So I asked hotel if they were so kind and cancel my stay for free and they said yes, no problem. I really appreciated their attitude.

We loved evetything about this place!

Loved our 5-night stay at Nika. Location couldn't be better (right around corner from Blue Mosque, restaurants all around, 5 min walk to public transport). Owner & staff very friendly, attentive & helpful. I appreciated that they kindly switched out my wife's pillow (for a softer one). Room very clean, quiet, updated, and stylish! (charming vintage lamps, decor, aircon, comfy bed, large desk) Updated bathroom, large shower. For breakfast, best part was the omelet (2 eggs). We adored petting the house cat (Nika) and her 3 tiny kittens. =^..^=

Breakfast coffee could be better (stronger/ more flavorful). Would also be nice to have plain Greek yogurt & simple muesli option for breakfast. :-)

loved our stay, hotel is very deceiving in reception area as it’s a cafe at the front but bedroom was a really decent size compared to the big hotels we usually stay at. location and price paid for the location was really good, walking distance to all the sights. staff went above and beyond to help us out with anything and I can’t really fault it. just remember to take your adapters for the plugs (although reception guy did let us borrow his personal one) keep an open mind for this property. no lifts to the floors so be prepared for steps but room is ample sized, all amenities like tea/coffee, iron on each floor shared between 2 rooms per floor but we didn’t have any issues. overall a really good stay- thanks!

we don’t really like cats (but be prepared in Turkey cats n dogs everywhere) they’re friendly enough but don’t really like to see cats chilling in reception area, imagine if someone had allergies etc

Fantastic Location which really couldn't be beaten. For being so close to the Blue Mosque one would have thought it would have been noisy but that was not the case as the road outside is one way. Taxi driver from the airport had difficulty finding. We took the 45 euro hotel taxi back to the airport and it is a very luxurious taxi and probably had I known I would have got the hotel to pick us up. Friendly staff and the hotel also doubles up as a juice / coffee bar during the day and that was very reasonable. Air Con worked perfectly. Showers good. Clean and beds pretty comfy tbh. Breakfast was OK but this hotel for the price of accommodation was exceptional value. If your plan is to explore Istanbul at your doorstep and you have limited time and don't want a "hotel experience" I could not recommend this hotel highly enough and certainly if I come back I will book again.

Very nice hotel, spacious room and an excellent location. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Every day there was a different dish in the buffet and we really liked that there was someone who prepared an omelet the moment you arrived to the breakfast room.

There seemed to be a little problem with humidity in the bathroom when we arrived. But the second day it already got better.

This is a lovely little hotel I have stayed here a few times now and it’s my preferred place to stay when in Istanbul. Staff are great always friendly and willing to help. Great location, good size rooms, a good variety at breakfast. We payed cash this time as last time we got charged a conversation rate charge so to avoid that it’s worth paying cash. Definitely would stay again

I got overcharged because the person who took payment pressed pay in gbp £ so I had to pay a conversation fee that was not needed. The manager did try and help but I had already been charged I should have paid £346 and paid £394.62. So please make sure you check what you’re being charged. This has never happened to me before and I was disappointed but I would stay again
