Great location, walking distance to almost all the touristy things, and if not, there's a tramway that gets you to the other side of the river, towards Karakoy. The spa is nice an calm. It has Sauna, Steam room, Indoor pool (and outside though it's only for summer) and a turkish bath room. The rooms are good size and everything is comfortable. Very practical to have a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast included with lots of variety

Constructive criticism: The spa : The lockers should have a key, it feels better to leave your belongings in a safe place. The steam room had a bit of a moldy smell. I think a water dispenser like the one you have in the breakfast area would be nice down there, the "juice bar" was empty. The rooms : We put up the "Clean our room please" sign on the door, and the person only took out the trash and replaced the shampoo bottles. They didn't really clean it. (Otherwise the room was spotless when we first got to the hotel) The breakfast : It has a lot of variety though not so much for fruits.. only some melon or prunes. Depending on the day. The fresh orange juice machine was only for decoration apparently.

Very good hotel. I would like to thank Emre, Kadir, Yasin and Seyma for their exceptional service. Travelled as a family of 14. Some issues initially with parents being put in a room with no window and another room not adequate however Emre quickly moved them to a suitable room the next morning. The cleanliness is to a good standard. Breakfast is OK. Usual eggs, meats, cheese and fruits, nothing fancy. Pool small however kids loved it and OK for a dip after long day sightseeing and choice of 2 pools. Sauna also good. Steam room could do with a revamp. Old looking didn't always work and didn't look clean. Location excellent. Central to all major sight only issue is taxis cannot always get in during busy periods. I would stay here again if visiting Istabul.

This hotel has an excellent location in Sirkeci, close to all the main sights and every kind of means of transport (ferry, metro, tram). The room was quite spacious and good for two people. At first we got a room on the first floor which had a window to the corridor and so that no direct access to daylight and fresh air. After the first night the helpful staff changed our room and we got a nice room on the fourth floor. Overall the staff always tried to help, I bought a SIM card at the reception, they also ordered a taxi for us when we needed it. The room was cleaned every day, also on the days when we left the room just in the afternoon. The roof terrace has a top view over the Bosphorus. My friend also tried the wellness and she had a massage there and she said it was great.

The beds were way too soft for me. I didnt sleep very well. The breakfast was a bit too "continental", I would have preferred more Turkish food.

Great location with Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya and Grand Bazaar all walking distance, Tram and ferry service nearby which is ideal to get around Istanbul. Front desk staff are really friendly and helpful, special mention for Ugurcan, Mehmet and Emre. Good breakfast, lots of choices with plenty of comfortable seating. Rooms were modern, clean and tidy, house keeping was always at hand and lady working on the 4th floor was always helpful and smiling. Bathrooms clean and modern, pool and spa definately a bonus with both pools, jaccuzzi and sauna free for guests. Wife and daughter also had a massage which was very reasonably priced which they really enjoyed. Overall a great hotel that I definately would use again.

Need an iron in the room as have shared irons across the hotel so not always available.

To anyone thinking about accommodation in Istanbul do not look at anywhere else this hotel is perfect for everything its walking distance to the beautiful Bosporus Strait with plenty of restaurants and shopping also walking distance to the main shopping area and the fantastic Grand Bazaar. This Orka Hotel and Spa will definitely be my ideal accommodation and relaxation spot for my next visit to this beautiful city this reason being not only because it is very comfortable and fantastic value for money but mainly because of the staff(who I will get to )..I have stayed in many great hotels around the world but if you are like me and like a hotel that ticks all the boxes , cleanliness, location, value for money ect ect..but my wife and I are not ashamed to say we are fussy and the staff were so professional and friendly so so helpful , Melissa , Onur , and Sehmus made our stay so memorable they were excellent. Its nice to stay in a clean hotel with good facilities ,we all like that..BUT ITS THE STAFF that make a hotel special and these people made our stay very memorable, I will be looking forward to staying here later in the year and hopefully seeing them again.. stay here you will be glad you did..Thankyou Orka Hotel & Spa.

Amazing, safe and lively location. walking distance to public transport: tram and Bosphorus trips. 5 minutes walk to the old city, shops, and restaurants. very good value for money. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with good quality of food but with limited variations, same items every day. Baggage room was nice option as we left our bags after checkout until flight. we couldn't get late checkout but this option was a good substitute.

small room. soft mattress not the best option for people with back pain like myself. free wifi speed was not that good. couldn't watch football match streaming on it.

10/10 Welcomed very well by reception staff. Samet, very helpful guy which showed us the way directly to the room and answered all of our questions! Onur, also at the reception, spoke even Greek! 🇬🇷 Made us feel like home! Was on a BnB basis, breakfast was great and rich with options, even if some other reviews were strangely saying otherwise. Spa area is fine. You don’t need anything more. Sauna is a must!

The hotel is located in a nice street . It is easy to reach from there to anywhere in the city. The room is clean and nice , everything we needed was in it. Breakfast is good, contains a variety of fruits, vegetables, bread, cheese, sausage, eggs , sweets and some hot dish. The people in service were all very efficient and kind especially Emre who took care of everything we asked very kindly and made us feel welcome. If we're ever back in Istanbul - we certainly intend to go back to this hotel. Thank you.

No vegan milk in breakfast.

The price and facilities what we got is excellent. We love the Turkish hamam, sauna & jacuzzi. Breakfast is good, location is very strategic, near to tram station even you can walk to some touristic area, and separated from crowded shops. Melissa is helpful and kindly friendly. We love to comeback again.

The route of car/taxi is hectic, a lot of one way and made taxi doesn't wanna to bring us to the hotel, or they charged us more expensive without standard meter price.
