Room was very tiny, hard to believe that there was 20m2. In Europe it is unreal small hotel room. And the worst thing was very loud construction work near our balcony on Saturday’s morning at 8am..

Hands-down this is the best hotel I have stayed in Istanbul. The location of the hotel is perfect and located near all public transportation’s (2 minutes to tram and 1 minute to subway) The best hotel staff I have ever met, specially Emery and Mourad. They were very helpful in every aspect of our stay, every morning, they ask us about our schedule for the day, and they help us on how to get to our desired destination. They offer us complementary hot tea and coffee every time we come back to the hotel. The breakfast is delicious and they have a menu to order anything fresh and its all included . The rooms of the hotel are a little bit small, yet very organized and we expected that before a check in but we like it anyway. If you are visiting in Istanbul i strongly recommend this hotel.

**Wi-Fi:** 1/5 - The Wi-Fi was a major disappointment, being both slow and unreliable, leading to frequent disconnections. I had to rely on my own mobile data for internet needs, which was quite inconvenient.

Firstly the staff were all outstanding. Hospitality was excellent. The location also was perfect for all transport and tourist sites. You could walk to everything. The room was perfect for me on my own. It was quiet and the bed very comfortable. I would stay again as a solo traveller. Very safe and inviting. Very good breakfast also. Coffee, tea was always available. I enjoyed that as it was good coffee. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner were luxurious ❤️

Trust that the airport shuttle should be no more than $30US. I fell into the trap on arrival paying 50euro to the hotel recommended people. On departure however they were wonderful communicating for me to get the cheaper shuttle and it was much better than on arrival. My partner was doing some business and needed more space, so stayed at another hotel. Very small rooms if you are a couple with luggage.

First of all, location! It was possible to visit almost everything we wanted in 3 days by walking, the hotel is REALLY central. Also really close to a lot of different kinds of public transportation (tram, train, metro, boat...). We arrived with by rental car, its also good that is a paid parking building just on the other side of the street (we paid around 10€ a day, can look a lot if you compare with other places in turkey, not much for Istanbul, ah it's possible to pay by card). Now, the hotel, inside: - Possibly the best hotel I've ever been in my life, I loved everything! - The room was incredibly comfortable and really well designed/decorated; - Bathroom, amazing! - The breakfast was great too, a lot of savory and sweet options on buffet and also a few optional Turkish hot dishes we could ask for, good coffee, great tea; - All the people working on the hotel was amazing for us, making our time there like home - The relation price/value at this hotel was just amazing, we'll recommend Barbera Hotel for friends/family going to Istambul, and we plan to stay here again on our next trip to this amazing city ❤️

Nothing I can remember

The check-in process was seamless and quick. Our rooms were spotless and well-maintained. The bed linens were fresh, and the bathroom was clean and stocked with amenities. Room temperature was easy to adjust, and the space felt cozy and inviting. The hotel is ideally located, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Everyone was professional, courteous, and willing to assist with any requests or inquiries. We found the hotel to be very quiet and restful for a night’s sleep. Considering the amenities, service, and location, I found the stay to be excellent value for the price. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

I recently spent 7 days at the Barbera Hotel in Istanbul, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were well-equipped with all the essentials, including heating, and the hotel provides free coffee and tea 24/7. The staff’s warm and supportive attitude made my stay even more memorable. A special thanks to Kursad and Sercan, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine care made me feel like family. Spending time with them in the hotel lobby or lounge was truly a highlight of my trip. They are exceptional individuals who elevate the entire experience at the Barbera Hotel. I would also like to thank Mourad for his excellent recommendations on local food and must-visit spots in Istanbul. Overall, the Barbera Hotel is an outstanding choice for anyone seeking a calm and relaxing stay after exploring the vibrant city.

While the Barbera Hotel has a charming atmosphere and friendly staff, the rooms are quite small, and some guests might find the amenities lacking for the price. Additionally, noise from the nearby streets can be disruptive at night.

We were looking for a boutique hotel in the center of Istanbul so that we can walk around and explore the city on foot as much as possible. We also wanted to be close to a few of the sites and tourist attractions and specially be walkable to food and local restaurants; we didn’t want to take public transportation or taxis as much as possible and to explore by foot. Barbera hotel’s location provided all those to us and beyond.

As long as your expectation of the boutique hotels in Europe is not large size rooms you find in US, then there wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the hotel and our room.

If I had to use only one word to describe Barbera hotel, "exceptional" would be it. Although the hotel is located right in the middle of a hectic and touristy area, the corner on which the hotel is situated is quiet. The sound proofing is so good that we didn't even realize that there was a construction site not far from the hotel. We were overwhelmed by the welcome we received, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was really good, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the selection of dishes changed during our stay. There is plenty of other nice stuff about the hotel that I'm maybe forgetting, but what we'll never forget is the amazing hotel staff. Everyone, including the owner of the hotel, were genuinely welcoming, friendly, and super helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. And it really did feel like they are doing it not because it's their job, but because they are all really nice people. I won't name anyone by name, because I don't have their permission, but a huge and heart-felt thank you to each and everyone of them for making our stay an unforgettable experience!
