First of all i want to thank the amazing staff as they were the best, helpful and they went above oir expectation to make our stay enjoyable, from Eran, Meltem with her beautiful smile, Eroy, John, Erda, Onur, Tufan and everyone who worked at Sofitel definitely i will comeback again. Big,beautiful and clean rooms. check in and checkout was smooth. Ounr and Erda help us move our luggage far away from the hotel as all streets was closed they helped us with great vibes and beautiful smiles. Great and helpful staff and management. Excellent location. Fantastic services. Comfortable room.

The wonderful staff made me feel at home. As I arrived too early before check-in time, John offered me a welcome breakfast to enjoy the facility before i could reach my suite, he made sure that I had the best one. The Chief concierge Aykan and Kaan, the king, made sure that my day was just perfect and well managed in every way possible. Erkan made sure that my room was clean and warm everyday. He always made sure that I had enough chocolate and coffee. As I was checking out Aykan made sure that my meet and greet was ready at the airport along with the transportation. I could not believe it when I saw Utku running after me with my credit card in the car, because I forgot it at the reception.

The location is super amazing as it’s in the center of Taksim square. Everything is nearby from restaurants, shops, cafes & more. The staff re really attentive, lovely & professional especially the housekeeping guys & La Table restaurant like Mr. Mehmet Bedir, Mr. Umit, Muhammet & more. The rooms are spacious (look for Superior King room). The Bathroom is spacious. The hotel is new hence the furniture is comfy.

The price is too high. The breakfast is ok, not impressive & like Sofitel standard food. The Superior king room’s bed is supposed to be a double one but instead, they put two beds next to each other which creates a hole or a crack in the middle so you kinds sink while asleep! Not comfortable & quite bizarre (despite calling them to fix the issue). The service is slow! So annoying as you’d have to wait a long time before you get your requests addressed (maybe due to lack of staff & so many guests at the hotel). There’s a check in security everyone you enter the hotel which is a bit annoying.

Excellent location, excellent classy hotel! Excellent service! Good breakfast!

We were on the top floor and there is a restaurant and a club on the roof.. the problem is that all the smells of the oil through the air conditioning go down to the upper rooms..

inner swimming pool was too cold (not heated). as we checked out very early morning, we were offered breakfast package which was awfully prepared and was poor this was a shame for a 5 star hotel

Location is super, it's clean and rooms are beautiful. Spa is amazing.

We stayed on the 8th floor and thought everything was great until we found out the 9th floor was a venue that had a full blown crazy loud part EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. we couldn't go to bed before 1am.

The staff are just super friendly, professional and amazing.. they will go over and beyond to make sure that you are happy and satisfied, I would like to mention specifically Ezgi , she checked me in and then I had some matters with a package that I was expecting to receive in the hotel, she went over and beyond with her colleagues Arman to make sure that I received my package on time , am very grateful to them also a special thanks to Erdi, he is the one who should me the room and the hotel facilities and was always there to answer my inquiries regardless..

The house keeping for a 5 star hotel brand name is really poor, my room is cleaned daily, however a very poor cleaning.. the floors was only brushed once in my 8 nights stay , the surfaces is not dusted at all , and the wash room was not cleaned properly

the room is big and clean and the location is very close of Taksim metro station their breakfast buffet is abundant and delicious, definitely worth of having it(around 450NTD per person) their staff from the security at the entrance to their colleagues at reception are so willing to assist dwellers with heart-warming smiles:)))

They actually DONT have pre-paid dinner(dinner including) this option on Booking.com so if you wanna have dinner at their restaurant you need to take order there and pay there. However, I did choose breakfast and dinner both including option form Booking.com and I prepaid with my credit card but they said they don't have dinner including this option. In Turkey, using Booking.com is restricted so I could't show them what I saw via Booking.com I can only provide them the confirmation email with "breakfast and dinner are included". They finally arranged me kinda small snack bar only available from 7pm to 8pm with few pieces of pizza, sweets, tangerines and juice. It is definitely not the dinner which I paid for around 800NTD per person.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable also. I ordered twice room service (breakfast and dinner) the food was excellent also i ordered black coffee mostly every morning was also good. The room had a view of the bosphore. We ate once lunch in the hotel restaurant; it had a nice view. Starbucks is around the corner which was convenient. Local fast food restaurants were also walking distance. Lounges like lulu and zebra were very close (about 10-15 mins walk). One of the worker (Erdi) there was amazing in giving us suggestions to dine and visit. He was very helpful and friendly.

The location was in Takseem, very crowded and loud. Our room was near a night club. You could hear the music But still I got a good sleep. I don't think I will come back due to this location despite the hotel being excellent. Night clubs are around the corner which I did not like . Takseem shops are ok ; no special you can find better places in other locations.
