Food at sky fire was good, staff was nice, room was clean and the location was very good.

Room is very dark! Not enough light, so it’s not great when doing make-up. Check in is way too slow. Expect Atleast 30mins of waiting time, pillows for bed weren’t good atall and bed was uncomfortable

My experience at Renaissance Hotel Izmir was wonderful! The check-in process was seamless, and the reception team's welcome made me feel right at home. The rooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining such high standards. One thing to note is that some bathrooms have glass screens. If you're traveling with children, it's a good idea to let the reception know your preference to avoid such room arrangements. However, this minor consideration was overshadowed by the top-class breakfast and the incredibly efficient breakfast team. The hotel's proximity to the main attractions was a major plus. One will enjoy the scenic ferry ride from Passaport, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, to explore the other side of Izmir. The abundance of nearby restaurants and cafes added to the convenience and charm of the location. Of course, it's wise to check reviews of these dining options beforehand. All in all, my stay at Renaissance Hotel Izmir was nothing short of a 5-star experience. The combination of excellent service, thoughtful amenities, and a prime location truly made it a memorable stay.

Wheelchair friendly room, wonderful staff, great location, wheelchair friendly bus (202) from airport terminates at hotel, had 2 weeks in hotel, so happy, we just returned for another week, room 1115 was perfect

Smart TV with Netflix etc would have been nice, TV in room ok with 3 or 4 English language news channels and some drama and movie channels, though you need to change the language on some channels, breakfast and dinners very overpriced, available at a fraction of the cost locally, but don't let this put you off hotel, it's the same with all big chain hotels

The room was very comfortable, the roof restaurant very nice, the SPA very good, the location superb. We opted not to take any breakfast (it is Izmir the city of delices) but the evenings we sat some time at the roof top restaurant with a beautiful view and decent food

We had at the beginning one or two days difficulties with room cleaning timing. The hotel claimed that they clean the rooms till 5 PM (and did it at around 4-5 PM), but after we reclaimed that as elders we want to rest in the afternoon they started to do it earlier. Although a 5 star hotel there was no pool (only a small internal shallow pool near the SPA)

Our stay at Renaissance Izmir was wonderful! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well looked after by excellent, attentive staff who ensured our stay was as enjoyable and as easy as possible. Two of our rooms were upgraded so we ended up with one junior suite and two executive suites, and all three rooms were superb! We enjoyed ample space, incredibly comfortable furniture and lovely views. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious and every member of staff we encountered couldn't do more for us. Thank you very much! We would happily, happily stay again!

Just one thing to note: the swimming pool isn't a swimming pool, it's a jacuzzi.

A well-designed and perfectly maintained hotel in the Izmir city center. The hotel is located in a nice area, close to the embankment, the old bazaar, central restaurants, etc. 1. WiFi worked perfectly everywhere, including our room and the lobby that I used for business meetings a couple of times. 2. The buffet breakfast is absolutely incredible, food is fresh and delicious, including Turkish yogurt, multiple types of cheese, local bakery, and everything else. You can even get a piece of a perfect honeycomb... 3. Valet parking is easy and convenient, our car was typically available in just 5-6 minutes upon request. 4. Rooms have reliable and noiseless air conditioning, and it is NOT blowing cold air at your bed. When working in the room, I had to turn the AC off to avoid drafts, but the air did not get stuffy after 1-2 hours. 5. Sound insulation is perfect, you do not hear outside noise and sleep well despite the central location.

The only minor gripes one may have is that the bed mattresses are quite firm, not to everyone's liking, and they serve below-average coffee at the local restaurant. You can find plenty of top-notch coffee shops in the area, none of the above is a real issue.

the whole stay was amazing from start to end. the hotel staff were lovely and kind. we booked the club room with lounge access. Firstly, the room was absolutely stunning, beyond expectations. Large with a beautiful view! Secondly, the club lounge access was more than we expected. The free drinks and ‘snacks’ which were basically meals and desserts were outstanding. We wanted to eat everything every day, a perfect addition to our holiday in Izmir. if you’re booking a room, I highly recommend the club lounge! And thirdly, I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff for surprising me with a little cake and fruits on my birthday in my room! it was such a cute surprise, especially given that I hadn’t told them it was my birthday. Thank you for your kind words in your little personalised notes. I could not recommend this hotel enough, I will be staying at one any time I come back!

The location was great. Very conveniently located to transport, restaurants and city center. The staff was very professional and helpful.

The hotel could be more airy the colors are dark the lights were dim. I would recommend making it lighter it would definitely benefit the hotel and the guest stay.

Amazing facilities, nice spa, everything was super-clean and the staff was super welcoming and kind with my wife and me. We arranged a short stay for our wedding, and everything went perfect preparing in the hotel :-)

Maybe a bit more on clarifying the extra expenses.

Everything was wonderful. My only complaint is that it was difficult to watch the television, which seems to be dependent on some sort of streaming service, so it keep cutting out, freezing, jumping forward, etc. Fortunately, we were out enjoying the beautiful so m city and wonderful food rather than watching TV, so everything worked out. Also, the hotel staff sent us our cellphone to the airport via taxi (it was left at the hotel) and we got it in time to still make our flight. Amazing service!!
