We stayed for 14 nights in one of the smaller rooms with a balcony overlooking the sea, air-con, and a very small wall-mounted minibar. The en-suite was also smallish but had an excellent shower. Wifi worked throughout the hotel. We were attracted to the hotel’s location and not disappointed. On the edge of the town, so relatively quiet, but very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. There is a pool next to the bar and sun-lounge area. Although small, the area was under-used during our stay and we had the smallish pool to ourselves most of the time. Breakfasts were Turkish, with fresh produce and eggs cooked in any way you wish. Although the hotel does not run a restaurant, it does have an all-day lunch menu and there is a pleasant coffee shop on the ground floor. The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere with a “nothing is too much trouble” attitude. It is immaculately clean and efficiently run. All things considered, especially the location, it is probably the most attractive hotel in Kalkan in our opinion. Will happily return.

Beautiful boutique hotel with fantastic location and amazing views of the bay. Within a couple of minutes walk of the harbour and a great choice of bars and restaurants. The room was spacious, with large shower, air con and lots of storage. Lovely terrace with infinity pool and always sunbeds available. The bar served drinks and snacks all day which were good and reasonably priced. The Turkish breakfast was incredible, if a little overwhelming 😊 After day one we just asked for what we wanted from the selection available. Small team of helpful and friendly staff.

Our room was at the front of the property next to a small road. It could be a little noisy at night as you are right in the heart of the old town.

- This has probably been one of the best locations I have ever stayed. The views are unreal looking out to the Mediterranean sea. We stayed in the Queen sea view room which has a 180 panorama view. Waking up to this every morning was sublime. - The infinity pool is amazing and was set at the perfect temperature. - The breakfast was an extensive traditional Turkish spread. You get to select your choice of eggs and it is served with lots of amazing local produce. - The service is exceptionally attentive, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. We were looked after so well.

The fact that we had to eventually leave. This was a faultless stay and we will definitely be going back.

Everything was exceptional: from the location to the attitude. We had a wonderful stay with my family and we enjoyed every day. The hotel manager Halil was super helpful, friendly, very nice and welcoming. He helped us organize a short boat trip, recommended great places to go for a dinner and cared about how we like the stay. The rooms are well-equipped, clean and just next to the beach. The only thing about Kalkan is that this place is generally overpriced, so just be prepared to pay more for an accommodation, food and activities.

Pier House is the perfect place for a couple staying in Kalkan. The staff are super friendly and accomodating, especially the Hotel Manager Tolga who is excellent. The hotel is perfectly located for getting into the heart of Kalkan. Rooms are very comfy and well decorated. The sunbed area and pool are great and conveniently located next to the bar. The full Turkish breakfast is absolutely delicious and very generous.

Generally nothing. A minor comment would be on the size of the Turkish breakfast, often times there would be lots left over, presumably going to waste. Perhaps a small menu of the Turkish breakfast could be supplied which guests could tick what they do/dont want.

We liked everything it. The staff in particular couldn’t have been more helpful. Tolga was always around ready to help. He was very quick to respond , if we sent him a message. Tayfun who managed the bar was so friendly & welcoming. We had a lovely large , light room with a big terrace which we really appreciated ( although it was quite expensive ) However we did know this before we came. The hotel is in a really great location , close to the beach for swimming, close to the restaurants & close to the boats for going out on boat trips . Tolga served an excellent Turkish breakfast . A big thankyou to Tolga for allowing us to use an empty room for a shower , as we had a very late flight .

The only one thing I would change is the timing of the breakfast . I would suggest 8 am start rather than 9am. This would be for 2 reasons . Firstly , if you’re going out on boat trips then 9am start is a bit late, especially as it isn’t self service . Also if they had an extra hour, it would spread out the timing of people going to breakfast . If everyone comes at approx 9 then Tolga has a difficult job to serve everyone .

Excellent location - the property is on the waterfront in the centre of Kalkan. There is a beach just below. Plenty of restaurants within a five minute walk. Very clean and well fitted out room. Lovely pool and bar area - the drinks served up were of a very high quality. Traditional Turkish breakfast included. There is a nice cafe located on the ground floor of the building, which is ideal for a coffee or lunch during the day. Staff were very responsive to requests. They managed to be always available without lingering.

The warm welcome. Accommodating our every need, informative and helpful. The room was spectacular, the views mesmerising, we were in the sea view suite, spotlessly clean. The pool was beautiful, infinity and overlooking the beach with the mountains and the sunset was stunning, we watched it from the pool. Breakfast was wonderful we had Turkish breakfast and omelettes. Cannot fault this hotel.

Nothing! It really was perfect. There are a lit of steps up to the main area, however we didnt mind this as its worth it !

A tastefully constructed boutique hotel, nestled against the mountain side. set on various levels, giving each room a its own outside entrance. We stayed in Peony which is built from stone, is beautifully cool even on a hot day and has a wonderful view from the balcony, with a jacuzzi bath. Air conditioned. Hotel is in a great location, close to town and the pebbly town beach. Beautiful views from all the outdoor areas: bar, sundeck, breakfast & lunch area. Breakfast is plentiful & good lunch options too. Very clean and well managed. Friendly & helpful staff.

it wasn’t an issue for us at all, but it’s good to be aware that the hotel is on lots of different levels with steps. All the steps are well maintained, with railings. We think it enhances the boutique feel & character of this lovely hotel.

Location location location!!! Good access to all possible activities: beach, marina, shopping, dining Clean and well equipped rooms. Beautiful gardens. Friendly and helpful staff!

Not anything to deter you from booking, but like all historic coastal villages, if you are driving in, be prepared to laugh at yourself as you try to negotiate those narrow steep streets, while are thinking: “ there is no way I got here!”
